Yosup foo' Wikiproject PodcastingI've noticed that you are a podcaster. Well, recently I've proposed a Wikiproject for podcasting. If you're interested go to the proposal page and list yourself under 'Interested Users'. Thanks, and hope to talk with you again soon. Ganfon 19:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC) WikiProject Podcasting StartedThe project is now under way. If you'd like to join, feel free to add your name to the members list on the project page. Thanks, and I hope that you'll be joing us soon. Ganfon 21:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC) Welcome!Welcome to the Podcasting WikiProject! I'm glad to see you've joined and are willing to help with the current open tasks. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, or post them on the talk page. Also, feel free to give yourself the userbox provided on the project page. As you can see, the project was literally just started, so everything is still a little crazy, but I'm sure you'll help us sort everything out. Thanks, Ganfon 22:41, 21 January 2007 (UTC) Welcome to the League of Copyeditors! Thanks for joining. Please see the project page for general instructions and announcements, including details of our February participation drive. Again, welcome! BuddingJournalist 01:55, 13 February 2007 (UTC) ENFPs!!! WOO!! :PHeyra, thanks for the comment, I haven't been on wiki for awhile but seeing a message here really made my day. Unfortunately, you left no signature and you caused my brain to go on a short overdrive* (I remembered how to find what user left text via history shortly - thus my overdrive lasted only so long.) What's more, *Final Fantasy interests? Loves Family Guy? Maintains a LiveJournal _and_ is gay? Hrmp, if only you lived in New York. *Ponders* Anywhrew, you most likely know who this is but if not, I'll leave it up to you to find me :D ~tata —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrtrblmkr1 (talk • contribs) 09:34, 18 April 2007 (UTC). Notice to WikiProject Podcasting MembersHey there all, I've noticed that action on the podcasting project has slowed down. I'd just like to take this time to promote more action from all of you on the project. there are still open tasks to be worked on, and if anyone has anything else to contribute feel free to add a task to the list. Also, I've put the members names into a box, and would like to invite you all to add your favorite podcast to the column. Hope to work with you all soon, Ganfon 20:21, 22 April 2007 (UTC) Antiochian? You're not another Antiochian, are you? Or former Yellow Springs-ian? There are so few of us here of Wikipedia. Natalie 01:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC) Let's Get RollingThe Podcasting wikiproject had a brief initial surge, but has since died away. I admit my part in this, I've been very busy as of late and have had little time to do any sort of editing. However the project has had almost no progress over the last few months. Our first task is to outline notability requirements. I have placed what was 'discussed' on the talk page on the main page, but there is certainly room for more input. Once the requirements are outlined we will need to start removing non-notable podcasts from Wikipedia. You all joined this project for a reason, now let's get the ball rolling.Ganfon 15:35, 2 June 2007 (UTC) League of Copyeditors roll call
Melon‑Bot (STOP!) 17:59, 28 December 2007 (UTC) WikiProject PodcastingHi Ventric, I noticed you were on the list as a member of WikiProject Podcasting! 2008 brings new updates to the project, such as Wikipedia 1.0 article assessment ratings, and new podcast infoboxes editors are working on. In order to help us know who is working on writing, sourcing, rating articles, and in general helping out the project, I encourage you to check out the WP:PODCAST main page and move your name into the 2008 members list. If you'd like to still be part, but have a more indirect involvement on the project, feel free to leave your name on the former members list. Of course, if you're too busy with other commitments and wish to leave the project, simply remove your name. We'll sure miss you though! :) The year ahead we would like to focus our energy on not only improving articles, but also provide WP:RS reliable sources to ensure each article meets WP:V verifiability. All the best and happy podcasting. --Breno talk 10:06, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Article from German WikipediaI note from your user boxes that you translate from the German to English Wikipedia. Have you looked at the Marxian economics article in German? It is probably too much to hope for that you have actually translated the article, but perhaps you could comment on the ME talk page as to whether there anything that we might benefit from including in the English article? Sunray 16:58, 28 May 2007 (UTC) I have replied on user:sunray's talk page Alan XAX Freeman 08:23, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Your further thoughts on this subject seem apt. I would make sense to me to introduce the subject on the ME page. BTW I greatly appreciated the information you provided about what seems to be some sort of ethnographic link between those two musical cultures. This seems to me to be a discovery of the order of that of the Bering land bridge. Sunray 22:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC) Translation- Hi, I could use some help translating this piece in order to gain useful information for an article about a German mountaineer (Ludwig Vörg). I understand it to mean that they could not move the body from where it fell/temporary grave. Is this true? The text is below. "Ludwig Vörg konnte im Rahmen unserer Umbettungsarbeiten nicht geborgen werden. Die vorgesehene Überführung zum Sammelfriedhof in Przemysl - Sammelfriedhof (Polen) war somit leider nicht möglich. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help. When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this. If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! If so, it looks like the project could use a little jump-start. In particular, I think notability requirements and assessment guidelines could be added/updated. Please check out the page if you're still interested and move your name to the 2011 active list. Thanks! This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled. On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note. Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 17:07, 15 March 2011 (UTC) Hello from MOTDHello. There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months. Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials.
