Transliteration of Icelandic words

I noticed you have been amending IPA transcriptions of Icelandic words to include some very fine details. I feel we must try and stick to a single scheme of transcription and have raised the issue at Talk:Icelandic language#Transliteration of Icelandic words, I would be pleased to have your thoughts there.
