User talk:Urashimataro/Archive09Japanese architectureHi Urashimataro. I've recently done some work expanding the article on Japanese architecture and have submitted it for peer review. As you have lots of experience editing Japanese architecture articles I'd really appreciate if you could spare some time to read it through and leave some comments. Thanks. You can see the nomination here. Not that I agree with the reviewer, but you may want to deal with/respond to the complaint about (possible?) close paraphrasing. Happy editing. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 23:53, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Japanese architectural elementsHi! Probably you noticed already, Nihonjoe created {{Japanese architectural elements}} and is asking for suggestions on improving the template. bamse (talk) 23:57, 18 August 2011 (UTC) DYK for Jingū-ji

Disambiguation link notificationHi. In Bentendo, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Dō (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject. Somebody on de-wikipedia was wondering, about the following technicality, is karahafu (唐破風) a gable or rather a bargeboard. The karahafu article says it is a gable, but jaanus says it is a bargeboard. What do you think? bamse (talk) 09:20, 17 February 2012 (UTC) Alas, real life concerns keep me away from Wikipedia, but I will be back. I think it is a bargeboard, not a gable, and dictionaries agree with me (I think). -Frank (Urashima Tarō) (talk) 09:34, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 8Hi. When you recently edited Kamakura's Seven Entrances, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fuchū (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). I understand that you don't have much time, but asking anyway... User:Maculosae tegmine lyncis and myself were wondering if you are interested to do some editing or provide otherwise input in the Tamamushi Shrine architecture section (see also this discussion). Basically we think that the text is currently very technical and therefore hard to understand. It could do with some easy to understand explanation or a drawing or something. What do you think? bamse (talk) 18:30, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
