Took a general look, found no glaring mistakes or holes and made just minor changes. It looks like you did your homework, and therefore did a good job. Just one thing: Take a look at the General Features section of the Buddhist temples in Japan article. That info applies to Japanese architecture in general, and in Nishi and Hozumi's book in fact WAS about Japanese architecture (I wrote that section, and read the book). The info the section contains is mostly already here and there in your article, but it would be good to have something like that in your article too.

On 1 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Chinjusha, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Buddhist temples in Japan are protected by special Shinto shrines called chinjusha? Hi! I understand that you don't have much time, but asking anyway... User:Maculosae tegmine lyncis and myself were wondering if you are interested to do some editing or provide otherwise input in the Tamamushi Shrine architecture section (see also this discussion). Basically we think that the text is currently very technical and therefore hard to understand. It could do with some easy to understand explanation or a drawing or something. Really pleased to see from your photo that new leaves are springing up from the Great Gingko. And did you hear there's a renewed push to have Kamakura inscribed on the UNESCO list?
