Thank you for creating this article. I added it to Wikipedia:Wiki Loves Pride 2015/Results, which records LGBT-related articles created during the month of June as part of the annual Wiki Loves Pride campaign. If you happen to create or improve other LGBT-related articles this month, feel free to update the Results page accordingly. Thanks again! ---Another Believer(Talk)16:44, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Please don't just insert images into articles in the middle of a section that is already heavily illustrated. Instead, please use the article's Talk page to let everyone know that you have an image that might be of interest and to discuss where it might fit in. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:22, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I've looked over your upload, I see many problems with it! First of all, you licensed it incorrectly. You claimed it as your own work and then licensed it under a CC license, but it is actually a public domain work in the US. Your claim of copyright to it is wrongful and you could potentially be liable for a violation of copyright law. Secondly, in your summary, you misidentified the author -- it is Scotson-Clark. You misidentified the source, you mis-dated it. I've corrected some of the mistakes, but you should, for your own protection, go back over all of your uploads and make sure that you are not claiming work as your own that, in fact, was created or originally published by someone else. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:57, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've also tried fixing some of these, but I don't know the age or country of origin of these two, just that they're not own work:
Even though the photos are taken by you, the object you're photographing is the work of someone else when the image is a book cover, program or film poster, for example. When you need help, posting here before uploading is a good idea. When images aren't licensed correctly, they can be deleted, so you want to be sure of the right licenses. We hope (talk) 00:58, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't take offense at the tag I had to place on the item from the 1904 World's Fair re: "nazi symbol". Anything resembling the mark has to be noted because anything to do with the Nazi Party is illegal in Germany and also in some other countries. In the days of the 1904 World's Fair, this was considered to be a symbol of good luck. We hope (talk) 01:22, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Fellow Wikipedians,
I JethroBT (WMF) suggested that I consult with fellow Wikipedians to get feedback and help to improve my idea about "As an unparalleled way to raise awareness of the Wikimedia projects, I propose to create a tremendous media opportunity presented by launching Wikipedia via space travel."
The tag allows the display of the specific artist on the automated task list on that event page here - Brooklyn Museum task list, which is a SPARQL query that pulls from Wikidata to make the administrative task of managing task lists a bit easier and integrated.
So deleting the tag has an impact on the Black Lunch Table's main task list -- as well as on the specific event task list -- which might be re-used for future outreach at Brooklyn Museum. The goal of the project is to help improve coverage of Visual Artists from the African Diaspora on Wikipedia, and is integrated with Wikidata.
I just wanted to let you know I restored this important link in case you were wondering.
I also added to her Authority control and edited her page a very slight amount.
I apologize for deleting the catalog tag from the Kay Brown (Artist) Wikidata item (and thanks for assuming I probably did it in good faith). Since I had just written the article about her, I wanted to see if she had a Wikidata item and if it had anything I could add or fix. Because there was the "potential issues" symbol next to "catalog", I tried to figure out what had happened to trigger that. It seemed to me that this was possibly a garbled reference to an exhibition catalog which I couldn't find a record of, and since it didn't make sense to me I deleted it. After your explanation, I understand that you've been using it as a collocating tag for your Black Lunch Table project so it's definitely valid. I wonder if there's a way to fix the "catalog" tag so it's not getting that "potential issues" warning since well meaning folks might, like me, think it was an error. Anyway, thanks for the explanation, and I applaud the work that you, the Black Lunch Table group, and the Brooklyn Museum are doing! Best wishes, Diane Uncommon fritillary (talk) 15:03, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Diane, I pasted your response here so the conversation can be in one place. Thanks for writing back. It’s very odd but I am not seeing the flag that you describe. I will follow up and see what is happening now I know. Thanks for describing that. Best — Erika aka BrillLyle (talk) 16:55, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
