Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Uncle Spock! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
Thanks for your help identifying articles for speedy deletion. Just so you know, when you tag a page for deletion, you don't need to also tag its talk page. Talk pages of deleted pages (except user talk pages) are eligible for deletion under criterion WP:G8, and the script that deletes pages generally does it automatically. Cheers. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:00, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. That was an odd one: the article and its talk page got moved separately, by an editor trying in good faith to disambiguate two articles, but in the process an article got moved to a talk page, etc etc. So I improvised a bit this time, ha. Uncle Spock (talk) 21:14, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there!
I did publish Power Surfacing before I could add independent references attesting its notoriety. I had some time to enhance the article today and would love it if you could take a look as give your opinion on whether notability is present now. Cheers and good editing! Disambiguation link notification for April 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Intravesical Drug Delivery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Systemic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
This article has already been speedy deleted once for being promotional. I've moved it out of main space back to Draft space to get an AFC review as there are suspicions of paid editing/COI. LizRead!Talk!21:20, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
American School of Kosova
Hello,
You have 11 days on Wikipedia and you are hiding an article...
The Wikipedia article for "American School of Kosovo" appears to be professionally written and details the school's history, academic programs, and activities. This makes the article verifiable and has reliable data.
The article also contains resources and links to other online data, making it a good source to start research and do a deeper analysis of the school.
Look if the article is an advertisement, I would delete it myself, I try not to advertise, I swear by everything, I don't know what advertisement is here and you are only 11 days old, please don't do things in vain, keep the pages active, which should be, there are many articles without references without nothing just a few words why do you block them when I try to do my best. VALONSA (talk) 14:07, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can see in a Wikipedia search that there is a Trichy East Assembly member Inigo S. Irudayaraj, and there was a Bishop of Palayamkottai Savarinathen Iruthayaraj. I'll add links now to the article, and perhaps you can work on finding reliable sources to create an article on the bishop: unfortunately I can't read a single word of Tamil. Uncle Spock (talk) 05:09, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've started a draft at Draft:Savarinathen Iruthayaraj, translated from the existing unreferenced article at German Wikipedia, and added the few reliable English language sources I could find. It's not ready for publication yet, but if you can find reliable sources on him in Tamil, then we can publish the draft article. Uncle Spock (talk) 05:46, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes thank you, and well done for finding and adding that article on Bishop Joseph Irudayaraj, I missed that one completely. At this point I'm fairly certain that the article won't be deleted. Uncle Spock (talk) 10:36, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Usually, yes. Some links are automatically blocked: if you try to add a link that's on the list of banned sites, like blogspot.com, a pink warning message will let you know that it's not allowed. And in a draft article, it's fine to experiment and learn. Uncle Spock (talk) 19:09, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
thank you so much, i was asking because i want to add some links of other people with the name of iruthayaraj, i have found in Google. does it good idea? MICHAEL 942006 (talk) 19:16, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there! I'm sorry to say, but I had to decline your CSD request at Vriddhi Vishal. As written, CSD:G4 is relatively strict and would not apply to this article. The last version deleted was from Feb 2022, and there was enough new content to save it. That said, you're welcome to nominate it at WP:AFD. Thanks for your hard work in patrolling! --Hadal (talk) 21:18, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know. And looking at CSD#G4, it looks like you're right. I'll do one more BEFORE search tomorrow, to see if it should go back to AFD, but another editor might well beat me to it. Uncle Spock (talk) 21:34, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Christopheronthemove have opened an ANI thread against you. That user looks really suspicious after I found Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jehowahyereh/Archive. I think the evidence provided there were pretty clear to prove Christopheronthemove have been using multiple accounts. Even the closing admin commented as It's certainly possible that there's some socking/meatpuppetry/UPE going on here. Unfortunately the filer of that case also got blocked and no action were taken only because of that. This user's sudden jump into AFD discussions immediately after creating the ID looks so suspicious to me. Have a look at their first edits and you will find it so interesting. They are continuously creating promotional articles. Vriddhi Vishal is a classic example. I request you to watch over their edits. 111.92.78.203 (talk) 14:27, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was closely monitoring some new users ever since the Jehowahyereh got blocked for UPE. They are interested in creating promotional articles about film personalities. I guess now you know what to do! 111.92.78.203 (talk) 00:30, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Uncle Spock. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of FixMySite.com, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:36, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fantastic Services
Dear Uncle Spock, could you please revisit this page. I have endeavoured to make the content more factual and would appreciate any further advice from yourself. Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by MediaWatch (talk • contribs) 14:59, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for the changes you made, but it still reads like advertising to me. Are you connected with the company somehow, or with Rune Sovndahl? Both articles are written with a promotional tone. Uncle Spock (talk) 15:26, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, This edit for Paul Jousse article, here, removed the orphan tag even though the article was still an orphan article. Redirects & disambig. do not count as valid for Orphan status. So I wikilinked Paul Jousse at new section "Notable people" at article "Bechuanaland Protectorate". Now the article is no longer an orphan. Any questions, feel free to discuss. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 19:25, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Uncle Spock, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Realzitachy, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 12:56, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
None of the sources so far are reliable, and they don't support what's written in the article. They only say that he worked on a appeared in a film that hasn't been released yet. Uncle Spock (talk) 16:15, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop drafifying articles. I see that most of the ones you have done recently have been reverted and returned to main space. You've only been editing for a few weeks and are still relatively inexperienced. Unless you are a sockpuppet, you are still getting familiar with Wikipedia's policies and practices. Please don't take on more administrative responsibilities until you have been editing for a few months. If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you.
