I've made significant improvements to the structure and verifiability of Partners for Democratic Change. Would you be willing to review your vote on its deletion? Thanks! i kan reed (talk) 16:22, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi Tyro. I'm just letting you know that I deleted the above page as G10 attack and not vandalism as you had tagged it. It was quite a nasty piece of blatant slander. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:39, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. It's not enough for me to oppose over it (because it was from over two years ago), but please properly give descriptions and sources for your images. File:The human lungs.png appears to have been cropped from File:Inhalation diagram.svg (it would have been better to do it as an SVG, but that's a completely unrelated topic and obviously not everyone has an SVG editor at their disposal, which is completely understandable). Even though you are under no legal obligation to credit the original uploader since she did release her work into the public domain, not crediting the source is still considered plagiarism. You should give the image a meaningful description and properly credit the source. --B (talk) 00:05, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Heartiest congrats! You won't find much of any use in my vector.js page, but my toolbox is very heavy and full of a mess of useful stuff for admins that you are welcome to plunder. Do what you like to the main page, just don't delete my user page! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 16:08, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

RfA reformHi Tyrol. I've left a more comprehensive reply for you both on my talk page, to which I'll add, that although we need to keep an even balance between coordinators and the task force members, you are most welcome to put your name on the coord list and try to galvanise people into action. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 18:05, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

BarnstarThanks a bunch. I really appreciate it. XD Keep up the good work too! The GAs you've written on space missions and lunar formations have actually been really interesting and informative to me. I remember reading Fra Mauro formation, and then hearing Tom Hanks mention it on Apollo 13. I was excited. :) --Starstriker7(Talk) 05:29, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Good Article promotion
Request to Userfy recently deleted pageRiskVal was deleted recently while I was in the middle of working on it. I had put in the framework but wanted to work on content separately so I could provide a clean first draft before community edits started happening. I should have planned it out in a user space or sandbox instead of making a separate page before it was ready. One concern though. I had put the newpage tag at the top and I understood that said notice would give me at least a day of editing before the article was even considered for deletion while I was still working on it. Why does the tag exist if people ignore it? What's the point? There wasn't much to the page but I'd appreciate if it could be userfied so I wouldn't have to redo it :D Thank you for your time, Spideygoturback (talk) 21:09, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
RfA Reform updateHi. It's been a little while since the last message on RfA reform, and there's been a fair amount of slow but steady progress. However, there is currently a flurry of activity due to some conversations on Jimbo's talk page. I think we're very close to putting an idea or two forward before the community and there are at least two newer ones in the pipeline. So if you have a moment:

US Orbital SegmentHi Tyrol5, I just went through a major overhaul (complete rewrite) of the US Orbital Segment article. I have tagged it for copy edit, but I was wondering if maybe you could give it a peak. I would like to get it out of stub category, but I am not the best in grammar. I want to have all my ducks in a row before I request an assessment of it at the spaceflight project. If you see anything else that might be a problem, let me know. Thanks in advance--NavyBlue84 17:08, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
MSU InterviewDear Tyrol5, My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the community [[Wikipedia:Village_pump_(proposals)/Archive_82#Learn_to_be_a_Wikipedia_Administrator_- _New_class_at_MSU|HERE]], where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.

We're trying to identify which members are still active, so we can start to work on our next general offline release, Version 0.9, being discussed here. De-adminship reformHi Tyrol. Last year, de-adminship reform was considered out of scope by WP:RfA reform 2011, and you created User:Tyrol5/De-adminship reform. Unfortunately, that never really got off the ground - but I thought I might come to you to help out with User:Worm That Turned/Community De-adminship proof of concept, I'm hoping to get an RfC together to judge the community's view on "community de-adminship". I know this isn't going to be a short process, there's a reason it's perennial, but I thought it would be a good way to start. Would appreciate any thoughts. WormTT(talk) 12:18, 24 July 2012 (UTC) |
