My Work for the Guild

Hello,

I would like to formally apologize for the poor job I did in this past drive. This is all so new to me and not knowing any of the protocols really hindered my ability of doing the best job possible. At your behest, I will not participate in the next drive in order to not cause any more damage. Instead, I will learn more about the guild and its rules. So when I am fortunate enough to participate in another drive, I will be ready to be a great help to you and the rest of the guild. I hope you understand that I put in a lot of effort into the drive this month; my heart was in the right place. I am just juggling a lot of things right now, which I bet you could probably understand. I am still an underclassman in high school, so there is lots of room for me to grow. I cannot wait to get back and help when my knowledge of the guild is up to par.

@A.JulianEditor: Thank you for finally responding. As I wrote in an earlier post to you some of your edits are very helpful. I think your problem, and you acknowledge it here, is that you are "juggling a lot of things". Copy editing requires 100% focus. I never asked you not to participate, I suggested you slow down and work through each article carefully. East Bengal Ultras

A small request. Can you kindly check and copyedit this article once again? Requesting you since you did it in January. There were multiple addition/subtraction after that. As per the latest GA review, there are some minor issues. I didn't request in WP:GOCE since a major was already done, and requesting there again will take very long time. @ArnabSaha: Sorry, you will have to put in a request at the GOCE. We have a long backlog which we are trying to clear up. It appears there are issues with paraphrasing etc... which you will need to deal with. This is outside the scope of a Guild copy edit where we deal primarily with grammar and spelling. Can't Get You Out of My Head

Hey Twofingered Typist! Once again, thank you for copy-editing "Can't Get You Out of My Head". On its respective [[1]], a user pointed out the use of passive instead of active voice to be an issue. Additionally, the Critical reception section apparently has a lot of quotes that might need reducing and rewording. I was wondering if you could help me with that? @Tomica: I have "fixed" the passive voice in those sentences where I think it is appropriate although it has made some of the sentences "clunky". Perhaps Aoba47 could help you with the quotes? Thank you so much for your assistance! Yeah, I agree with you. Apparently "that was the preferred voice". I changed a sentence in the lead though. I think it sounds better like it is right now.
