We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot’s recommendations. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information in the consent information sheet.
We have added information about the opportunity to make substantial valuable contributions to an article using a Low/Medium/High scale which goes from Low to High . The score is calculated by combining an article's readership and quality.
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We're approaching the beginning of 2012's final round. Pool A sees Cwmhiraeth (submissions) as the leader, with 300 points being awarded for the featured article Bivalvia, and Pool B sees Grapple X (submissions) in the lead, with 10 good articles, and over 35 articles eligible for good topic points. Pool A sees Muboshgu (submissions) in second place with a number of articles relating to baseball, while Pool B's Ruby2010 (submissions) follows Grapple X, with a variety of contributions including the high-scoring, high-importance featured article on the 2010 film Pride & Prejudice. Ruby2010, like Grapple X, also claimed a number of good topic points; despite this, not a single point has been claimed for featured topics in the contest so far. The same is true for featured portals.
Currently, the eighth-place competitor (and so the lowest scorer who would reach the final round right now) has scored 332, more than double the 150 needed to reach the final round last year. In 2010, however, 430 was the lowest qualifying score. In this competition, we have generally seen scores closer to those in 2010 than those in 2011. Let's see what kind of benchmark we can set for future competitions! As ever, if you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Speechless (Ciara song)
Hi Tomica,
Please be aware that you are entering WP:3RR / WP:Edit war territory. TheCountdown has been warned and is under investigation for abusing multiple accounts. Please sit tight. We don't need a good editor being temporarily blocked for a silly edit war. I'm sure that the matter will be resolved imminently. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1[talk]17:17, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Think I reverted only 2 times. Don't think about third one at all :). I mean if you can't prove them, called the wild ones (admins) :P. Btw are you fully coming back?:) — Tomica(talk)18:20, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
I just got both your messages but it did it again. Ok for one, it says you're not on my contact list yet you are, and two I get your messages but you don't get mine. :S Rayman95(talk)18:55, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Hey. I wanted to enquire. How should we represent the release history of Princess of China? I found the huge table as very redundant and unecessary and changed the list of many countries to worldwide. But the change has been reverted. What do you say? We have to do something about the iTunes links otherwise. They are too many and improperly cited. Thanks and Greetings! Syedwaheedhussain (talk) 19:50, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Maybe the table its big, but that's it ... the song was just released digitally in so many countries and there is nothing we can do for it. Worldwide would say every country in the world, but for example it wasn't released in Macedonia or Serbia or Croatia, meaning we have to have the specific countries. And for the references I will re-work them. No worries ;). — Tomica(talk)22:48, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Just say something to my face if you have something to say instead of telling someone they have something they need to see. Aaron • You Da One00:16, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
What's wrong with you man? Do you think me and Status talk for you 24/7? We have other interests here too for the record! For God sake. — Tomica(talk)00:20, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Well obviously I should be stupid If I didn't note right that you wrote me RIGHT AWAY when I wrote on Status' page that I saw something funny and I need him online. Too much stalking? I know you Calvin... — Tomica(talk)00:25, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Well it's very co-incidental that you found something very funny online considering you've been editing Princess of China. Just be honest. Aaron • You Da One00:26, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, but I also have a full watchlist of articles regarding other performers. Maybe I saw something related to J-Lo hmmmm? — Tomica(talk)00:28, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
You do realize that users can't call dibs on working on articles, right? Get over yourself. Tomica and I have been talking about working on "Princess of China" for a while, as fans of Coldplay and Rihanna, respectively. Statυs (talk) 04:44, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
I don't see a "To Do List" anywhere Calvin. Stop whining. If it's been there "since January", why haven't you started to work on it? It's August now, it's been 8 months. Get over yourself, seriously. Someone else started working on it. Statυs (talk) 11:35, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
"My list of Good Articles". You just couldn't be bothered to look. You have one set of rules for you and another set for others. Doesn't matter how long it's been there for, it's not good faith. Aaron • You Da One11:36, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
I can put for example all JT articles on my To do list and what does that mean? That users can not edit his articles because I WILL START SOMETIME? It's simply not fair, especially the fact that you do not accept collaborations. Don't get bold cause you can be hurt as you got hundred times. — Tomica(talk)11:38, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
That doesn't appear to say "My to do list". I don't go looking through every section of your userpage. "You have one set of rules for you and another set for others." What the hell are you talking about? Why do I have to answer to you if I want to work on a Rihanna article? You can push Tomica around all you want (like you always seem to do), but just try to push me around. Statυs (talk) 11:39, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Like how you are pushing me around? The whole "if the song hasn't charted thing" is your set of double standards. You wanted the Rihanna ones deleted, but you wanted the J Lo ones to stay, because it suited you. Aaron • You Da One11:41, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
An example, the booklet says "Produced by Jamie xx and Noah "40" Shebib". I've written "Production of the song was handled by Jamie xx and Shebib under his production name Noah "40" Shebib.". How is that not my own words??? You're being petty and taking advantage of me only being able to press the revert button once in a 24 hour period. Aaron • You Da One11:35, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Permission and license was granted by XL Recordings. and Rihanna appears on the track as a featured artist courtesy of Def Jam Recordings. are obviously straight copied from the booklet. And tbh I don't have an idea or simply care what features do you maintain at the moment. — Tomica(talk)11:36, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
“I’ll Take Care of You” Licensed Courtesy of XL Recordings Limited www. xlrecordings.com Rihanna appears courtesy of Island Def Jam Music Group ... am I stupid? — Tomica(talk)11:40, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
