Orphaned non-free media (File:Palme after winning the 1985 election.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Palme after winning the 1985 election.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:35, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. andy (talk) 14:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As one of the previous contributors to {{Infobox film}} or as one of the commenters on it's talk page, I would like to inform you that there has been a RfC started on the talk page as to implementation of previously deprecated parameters. Your comments and thoughts on the matter would be welcomed. Happy editing!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Telegraphy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Telia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please forgive the delayed response, I was never notified about your previous message...
I'm a new user hoping to figure out how to have my first article reviewed/published
I tried responding to a couple different moderators over the past week and I never got a response, so I'm messaging you again just to be safe.
I was told by 'WorldBruce' that you had messaged me about a possible "COI" regarding my first article. It was suggested to me by Darnell Price that I learn how to format Wikipedia pages, because he said he might be able to help me out with some writing assignments in the future (and as a journalist and a 'Genius.com' contributor, it is helpful to be able to contribute to both websites). It was my personal decision to attempt to relaunch his page, because he said that it had been taken down after he received spammy messages from someone in Turkey... that's a whole other story. Either way, I want to be clear that a.) it was my idea to write his bio because I couldn't think of anyone else to write about and he definitely deserves to have a Wikipedia page, and b.) he never paid me, nor will he be paying me for my contribution.
I tried clearing this up in other messages but I never got a response and I'm still not sure if this has been resolved or not. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated as it has been a long time since I submitted the piece and as far as I can tell it is well-written, well-sourced, and provides objective/accurate information about a notable individual.
@Ace woe: Hi and thanks for your message. The reason I left a message on your talk page was to point out that if you receive any compensation for editing Wikipedia, you should make this clear. The reason for my message to you was that you on June 20 wrote the following: "I was recently asked by OG Cuicide's management (a well-known rapper, entrepreneur, and activist from Los Angeles) to help re-create a Wikipedia page for him, [...]" Thuresson (talk) 20:05, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Thuresson: Yes, but this was never a monetary agreement of any kind.
Following up about OG Cuicide's page
Dear Thuresson,
I did my best to respond to your message and address the supposed "COI" that was flagged on my page, but I'm not sure if this action has been reviewed or accepted by anyone at Wikipedia yet.
As I explained, I was never given money or compensation for creating this bio. It was suggested to me that I should learn Wikipedia's formatting standards and this was my attempt to do so. I have put hours and hours of my own time into creating this and learning guidelines, it would be heartbreaking if the page was removed over a misunderstanding.
Please let me know if I have done enough to move forward with having the page accepted. OG Cuicide is certainly a notable figure and deserving of a page (furthermore, he already had a page up before and he was contacted by an anonymous person from Turkey who said that if he didn't pay them the page would be taken down... this is extremely suspect and should really be looked into).
I appreciate your time & assistance with this matter,
Deletion of an NGO Draft article Bodhi Tree Educational Foundation
Hello Thuresson
I want to contact you because the deletion of our NGO Draft articule has come because you indicate it.
I have also contacted to the one who has removed our article.
This article Draft:The Bodhi Tree Educational Foundation, still in Draft version, was deleted becasue of adding one external article text, wrote by one colleague of our NGO team (so she is fully agree).
We understand the wikipedia rules and we are sorry about that, but you must understand that it was on Draft stage.
After receiving this message, I inmediatly removed this part of the article in order to not have problems, and I contacted you by "Contest this speedy deletion", but I still have no response.
And, anyway, the whole article was been deleted.
I ask you please to reactivate the article with the job done, because it is important to us. Please you have to take into account that is was still in Draft version.
Thank you
Hi, thank you for your message. I am only a casual visitor and do not have any administrative rights. It always been reverted back even though I am the official account of the said company and the copyright owner. How can I prevent my edits from reverting back? Thanks for your future response.--PBCOM09041939 (talk) 04:37, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand what you wrote me. The image that is currently used on Wikipedia is copyrighted and should have never been used to represent the film. It was a temp poster created by the Ivory Coast team (Wassakara productions) and they wish to have it removed asap. They are our coproducers and this is copyrighted material. It even features the wrong actor it. It should be Bakary Koné who plays the main character Roman like our official poster. I've uploaded the official poster, the only one that should represent the film anywhere but for some reasons, Wikipedia took it off claiming we do not have copyright which is not true. Really frustrating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yanickletourneau (talk • contribs) 14:48, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
