Together, we'll expand Wikipedia articles on American history and art, and the understanding that all communities bring to American culture, as reflected in the Met collection up until ca. 1900.

(note this is just south of the main entrance)
Galleries will be open this evening until 9 pm, and some wiki-visitors may wish to take this opportunity to see exhibits together after the formal event.

@Rachel Helps (BYU): I added it because it was questionable whether he passed WP:ARTIST, as most of the sources I found were either primary sources, or had passing coverage of the subject. He is included in the Springfield Museum, but based on my experience at Articles for Deletion, I had questions as to whether any of the other institutions would be sufficient to meet NARTIST 4(d); it didn't help that the next sentence talks also mentions three local restaurants. I flagged it, rather than nominating it for deletion, as I felt it may not be notable (rather than is not notable.) I believe he meets the NARTIST criteria #3, as there is a book about him, and multiple articles in 15 Bytes. As far as the galleries that display his work, the Springville Museum of Art and the BYU Museum of Art are some of the most prominent art museums in Utah. I used the Oxford Handbook of Mormonism for a secondary source that attests to his importance in the contemporary Mormon artist scene, which I believe establishes his notability. I cam across this about to be deleted as an expired AfC. I was a little startled to find we didn;t have an article on one on the relatively few women who won a technical Oscar. I rescued it, but it needs completion. I'm focussing entirely on rescuing RfCs , & don't havetime for the necessary work, but perhaps you can finish it, or find someone to ask to do it. Hi. I find your Mapping Wikipedia contributors map of US-based IP editors to be a very interesting resource. Would it be possible to license it under a free license so that it can be used on Wikimedia wikis? Featuring artist-Wikimedian Sara Clugage's "Picnics: An Outside History" for a cultural exploration of picnicking, knowledge and society during the national panel in the first part. Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
