Hi everyone - this is rather odd to be on the asking side rather than the answering side, but I need some help from an admin. It seems that my entire archiving setup was messed up because apparently MiszaBot III will not archive to an existing page, so it made new pages... yaddayaddayadda. Long and the short of it is, I'd love it if you deleted all pages in my User talk:Theopolisme pho-space beginning with Archive #. Sorry about this huge mess. Thanks! I made a similar request recently, but I'd appreciate iti f one of you could assist me again- in configuring my auto archives, I accidentally created a set of Archives 10-14 or something similar. The only archives I WANT are 1-3 (and 4 when that one is created, if it takes a while for someone to read this). Anyhow, I'm requesting deletion of Archive 10+, located at User talk:Theopolisme/Archive X. Thanks a bunch if you can assist! And I promise- no more pestering!;) Theopolisme TALK14:04, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
I really don't want to be unnecessarily dragged into all of this, as I took a look at the threads and it seems like you have the situation under control. If you think the problem is not yet resolved, please let me know. Theopolisme TALK17:13, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
No I don't mean to drag you in I just wanted someone else's views. These users are just out of order but I have been firm and held my position. At least now I can get some advice from you. Thanks TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 17:29, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
I have filed a report, I really feel those 3 users are ganging up on me. Come on I made one twinkle mistake which is sort of expected from a new user and the past 4 days I have had a barrage if abuse and have seen them talking badly about me. Every message I send which is respectful showing them my position is apparently vandalism of some sort. Please help. TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 21:03, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
CVUA Coordinator "Elections"
Hi Theo! Even though I will be running against you at the "elections" (note the quotes) next week, I still think that you are just as qualified, if not more qualified than me. Achowat offered to nominate me and I didn't want to decline it. I'd be more than happy for that role, but you are equally qualified for it. My point here is that although next week we will be running against each other, I still tremendously respect you as an editor here. Lastly, I have shown that I am not "competing" for this role by personally nominating ItsZippy. I'm just here to improve the CVUA, not to try to get a management position. Best, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 20:39, 12 July 2012 (UTC).
Thanks a bunch for the kind words - and you know I mean the very same to you! It's just an election, and whatever happens, it's for the better for Wikipedia - and that's what we're here for, isn't it? Theopolisme TALK
Thanks! I just wished that it could be done simpler. I'd be more than willing to take over as deputy and you become the Coordinator. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 21:01, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi Theopolisme. I've redirected the page to battery charger as it is basically the same topic. G1 is probably not the appropriate tag because while it was poorly written, the content was relatively coherent. -CTStalk02:34, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
DBigXray has given you some cookies! Cookies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. You can spread the "WikiLove" by giving someone else some cookies, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
To spread the goodness of cookies, you can add {{subst:Cookies}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}!
Sure! I just put it there as I was only beginning on it - be my guest! Perhaps add a "work in progress" tag though. Thanks - Theopolisme TALK14:17, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Comment
Thank you for your attempt to combat vandalism by reverting my revision to "River." Unfortunately, you are incorrect.
Of the three works cited for the assertion that "A common misconception is that most, or even all, rivers flow from north to south," two of the sources specifically state that the misconception is common among children (and the last states that it is common among college kids).
(Besides, without the crucial context that it's kids who are making this error, it is slightly absurd, and becomes a weird and distracting detail to include at all.)
Alright, thanks for letting me know - I took a look at the sources included and I think your point is quite valid. Sorry again! :) Theopolisme TALK16:17, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Create redirect of 'Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sunny Singh, IX 'D' of DAV Sasaram '
Why I cannot redirect the page 'Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sunny Singh, IX 'D' of DAV Sasaram' with redirect name 'Sunny Singh (DAV)'? Let me to make a redirect of the page 'Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sunny Singh, IX 'D' of DAV Sasaram'.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! Basically, to answer you question: When you redirect from the article namespace to an AfC, the reader has no idea that the submission is not "official Wikipedia content" - which I know is vague term but for my purposes her it should suffice - it hasn't been reviewed etc, or even paid any attention to at all from anyone but the coming reviewer - so, far as we know, it could be an attack page - in this case I know it's not, but that's policy for you. Hope this answers your question - since it has not been seen or given a chance to been seen by Wikipedia at large. Happy Wikipedia-ing! :) Theopolisme TALK03:00, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Umm.... sure! Rather non-Wiki related, but I recommend KeepVid - just watch out for fake "download links" that install malware - the way it works is you just paste in a video URL and they'll spit out a video file (MP4 I believe). Good luck! :) Theopolisme TALK03:40, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Well if you had read all of my message (tut, tut, tut) I said "probably best left to Zippy to reply though" - that's what I changed my mind about. Plus I had to go through thinking about not replying, then I'm going to reply, then Theo already has (I know how Dan felt ;) - [1]. Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 03:58, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Whoops, yeah - just saw the bold text in my extremely tiny STiki window (long story, trying to hack together something for iOS...) and rv'ed - thanks for the help (and understanding)! (whacks self with trout) Theopolisme TALK05:18, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Bahaha - yes, but actually not in that specific case... I'm trying to configure a working AWB hack for Mac, and I think I have something that works - I just need to test it. I have been looking through your edits though - don't shoot me! Theopolisme TALK06:42, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Good question. Look like you tried to drop in a %%i - that then resulted in every page from Texas to Idaho being listed... so, I just rm'd the drop index param and if people want to see them all in a list, they have to click (index) - otherwise, just search for a user. Sound good? Theopolisme TALK13:22, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Great - we'll have to wait for the next index cycle (few days), but we should be good now. Will watch the enroll page to make sure tho. Theopolisme TALK16:22, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages
Dear Author/Theopolisme
My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Hormone Replacement Therapy.
I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please visit my Talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance.
Hydra Rain (talk) 17:26, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello Theopolisme, thank you for your quick response. I am interested in any type of editing behaviour. :) Can you tell me whether you revert vandalism on specific pages? Also, I am assuming you have edited many Wikipedia pages in the past (before acquiring STiki role/permission)? Thanks so much! Nuša Hydra Rain (talk) 23:38, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello Theopolisme, I would ask you to read the instructions on my commons page. The information sheet on my commons page will tell you more about the study and what it involves. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me! http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain Next, I would ask you to fill out a simple questionnaire, which will take no longer than 5 minutes. link https://opinio.ucl.ac.uk/s?s=18871 Once you fill out the questionnaire, I would like to interview you. I will ask you to read the research ethics form and agree to it terms and conditions, all answers will be kept confidential and no data will be shared or your identity revealed. This research is conducted in accordance with 1998 Data Protection Act. We can have the interview over Skype or I can send you the interview questions and you can send them back to me (written form). You may send the interview answers back to me any time. Thank you and let me know if you need more information. Your participation is greatly appreciated! Best Wishes! Nuša Hydra Rain (talk) 20:43, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello Theopolisme, Thank you for your contribution! I saw your questionnaire responses. :) Let me know if you change your mind with regards to the second part of the study. It would take about 30 min approx and your answers remain anonymous. Instead of an interview, I can also send you my questions and you can send your answers back to me in your own time. Otherwise, thanks again and I am very grateful for your help!! Nuša Hydra Rain (talk) 09:54, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
I think it would be preferable for you to send me the questions - via email probably, if that's alright with you! Thanks, and happy to help - Theopolisme TALK12:01, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
ok, send me an e-mail to nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk and I will send you the ethics form and my questions. thanks so much Theopolisme! Hydra Rain (talk) 15:43, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello Theopolisme, just dropping a reminder, if you have time to teach me about how I could make my userpage more interesting (like yours!) I suppose I should just read the instructions but it is a lot more fun talking to people! :) I like the colours, the outline "box", the feature that tells me if you are online or offline, or I saw that some people have clocks, or those userboxes on the right of your userpage... Cheers! Nush Hydra Rain (talk) 11:40, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for warning that user. I find it actually upsetting in real life, sitting here now I fell physically hurt by the comments made by these random IP's and users. What should I do, is there anything I can do to sop it as it is no harassment. TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 17:28, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
Just a note that you may wish to avoid making this type of comment. Tiptoety is (or was) most active at SPI, the list of SPI clerks is here, and you're not listed. ANI does not have official clerks (as far as I know!)
I could have missed something about some newly created formal role, or some ANI-related clerk appointment you have; if so, my apologies. However, recently there has been a flurry of people appointing themselves as clerks, or similar, and it tends not to turn out well. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 20:29, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Whooops, yeah. I'm not in any such way a clerk... I just meant it as a general note, and have changed the wording as such (to Note:). Again, sorry about there! Don't want to cause any trouble. Theopolisme TALK20:44, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
A Recognition Award for you!
The Irish Warden Anti-Vandalism Recognition Award
I the Irish Warden have seen what great anti-vandalism work you do, I have seen that you tirelessly contribute to make wikipedia vandal free. So I think you deserve a pot of gold from Paddy the Leprechaun and you also deserve The Irish Waredn Barnstar! TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk)
(wipes beads of sweat from face) Teehee. Good deal. On another note, do we really need to wait until Saturday (or Sunday, I forget which) to end the Coordinator Selections? Just wondering as ECF withdrew their nom ("best of luck to Theo, I will stick around" or something of the like)... if you think I'm being too premature or something, please slap me with a trout, but otherwise.. hmmm.... Theopolisme TALK15:41, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
And thanks for making that call, I thought that's the way it would go. On the coord selection I think we should let you sweat it out for a while longer :), you know the dealing with all the overwhelming stress for a while longer. Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 16:21, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Sure, I'll get one to you when I can! Right now I'm still working on configuring X11/etc - not to mention waiting for actual AWB permissions - but I'll get you something as soon as I can! :) Theopolisme TALK17:18, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello there. I have recently made a proposal to change the way that disputes are handled and filed at DRN. As you've listed yourself as a volunteer at DRN, I would appreciate your input. You can find the thread here. Regards, StevenZhangGet involved in DR!02:49, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
