The KooksFound your post on the WP:ALM talk page. First thing I'd do is recommend removing the "Controversy" section; these are widely discouraged as they are POV magnets. Work all the material into the biography section where appropriate instead. WesleyDodds (talk) 21:34, 1 August 2009 (UTC) Sofia's hair for health - Don't mergeI don't agree in merging the articles. Sofia's hair for health is a CHARITY article, Rodolfo Valentin is a BIOGRAPHY article. I feel the article ( Sofia's hair for health) is very substantial, and very valuable information for people that are having chemotherapy and cannot afford to buy an expensive hair prosthesis ( more than 4 thousand dollars, as it was my situation)... How many people in this world are ready to give their own money away to help others?. I think this article deserves a page in its own. Instead, you should help to improve it., Thank you!Nicole reutman (talk) 13:01, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Rodolofo Valentin / Sofia's Hair 4 HealthHi. I've modified the merge tags that you placed. The tags on each article should point to the destination talk page section discussing the merge (see HELP:Merging). I've pointed them both to the section discussing the merge in the Roldolfo Valentin article talk page. I've also copied over one of the comments from the talk page of Sofia's Hair 4 Health. I notice that you made a comment on that page. I did not copy it, but you may want to copy it over and adjust the wording accordingly. Regards. --Whpq (talk) 20:29, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Rodolfo Valentin articleYou are improving greatly Rodolfo Valentin article. I have found links for verification regarding a few items removed for missing them. Here are two sites for verification about that Moriarty and Claudia Cohen have their hair styled by Rodolfo Valentin. The first one is: [1] and it reads: the Argentine-born Valentin has been catering to his US clients for 20 years and attributes his success to devotees like Claudia Cohen, Susan Hess, Ivana Trump and Antonia and Johanna Bennett, daughters of legendary crooner Tony. , for what you see the name of the Ivana trump can also be added. Also here is another site for verification: [2], that reads: His hair creations are exhibited at top salons in Manhattan Frederic Fekkai and Stephen Knoll, where Madonna snagged Valentin designs. The hair he uses is top-quality, natural hair from around the world. He has done hair extensions for Sophia Loren, Marla Maples, Ivana Trump, Brooke Shields, Kathy Moriarty, Claudia Cohen and Susan Hess, young Orthodox women and the ladies of the Five Towns. and regarding the page six from the New York Post newspaper itself i found: [3], that reads: NOW hair this: publicist David Granoff will go to harrowing lengths to plug his clients. Granoff, the mouthpiece for plus-size pin-up Anna Nicole Smith, underwent a "mega-graft hair transplant" a few weeks back to hype hair specialist Dr. Bahman Ashraf. Granoff, who to our eyes already had a healthy head of hair, explained: "If the wind blows a certain way, you can tell I have a receding hairline. Now I have all these little hairs sprouting in front." Granoff hosted a party in Cedarhurst, L.I., for the opening of Rodolfo Valentin's "salon, spa and hairpieces" headquarters, where Claudia Cohen, Cathy Moriarity and Susan Hess quaffed champagne and Beluga caviar. And the last one to verify that Rodolfo does Moriarty hair is also from The New York Post/ page six: [4] and it reads: THAT Rodolfo Valentin - the Cedarhurst, L.I., wigmakerhair-weaver opening a salon on Madison Avenue in the fall - will do Cathy Moriarty's hair when she plays Mrs. John Gotti in a Warner Bros. feature. Robert De Niro plays the Dapper Don . . ---I think this also verify that Rodolfo Valentin was doing Moriarty hair linked t Warner Bros.... I hope all these information will be helpfull to improve this article, I also think these references should be added to the article, and the article can still be more improved by adding the text that Rodolfo is the hairstylist for those famous people including Sophia Loren, Marla Mapes, Ivana trump, Brooke Shields, ( with the last one, there was before a picture of Rodolfo with Brooke Shields in the American Suicide Association) that has also been removed for not reason. I am not doing i myself because every time I add something with the proper references it is erased anyway.Probably I don't have enough experience doing it, Thanks71.190.65.119 (talk) 22:48, 6 August 2009 (UTC) Sockpuppets User:Susy parker, et alYep, I'd say there's quite a bit of socking going on. Several accounts are suspicious and I'm looking into all of them. These are readily apparent but I expect to find others.
I think there's already evidence of policy violations such as multiple !votes in the deletion discussion Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Rodolfo_Valentin. I'll see what shakes out as I look. I may submit a checkuser report for the accounts. The evidence seems fresh enough. Cheers, Pigman☿/talk 20:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Republic of LooseIs there a reason why the references in the discography section lead to The Kooks? :) --candle•wicke 15:18, 21 August 2009 (UTC) DYK for Republic of LooseKing of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 11:07, 26 August 2009 (UTC) MusicEh, I just moved the WikiProject from "Music" to "music" and this has upset the subpages. The article The Kooks you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:The Kooks for things needed to be addressed. Cannibaloki 19:36, 23 September 2009 (UTC) Wordpress interviewI saw your message on WP:RSN and you may be able to use the Wordpress interview given certain conditions. I left my comments under that heading. Also in future please don't go by the first advice you get on RSN. Those of us on that board have differing views on what makes an RS. And often the discussions that tell you how to use a borderline source properly come later; the people who just say "no" tend to respond more quickly.
