Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record. I recognise that the process itself was unusual, and the format was generally considered questionable - and I accept that I was mistaken in my perception of how it would be received - but I am particularly grateful for those whose opposes and neutrals were based in perceptions of how I was not performing to the standards expected of an administrator. As much as the support I received, those comments are hopefully going to allow me to be a better contributor to the project. Thank you. Very much. Motion to reopen ArbCom case "Mattisse"
ArbCom courtesy notice: You have received this notice because you particpated in some way on the Mattisse case or the associated clarification discussion.
A motion has recently been proposed to reopen the ArbCom case concerning Mattisse. ArbCom is inviting editor comment on this proposed motion.
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
Unique Little Stupid barnstar awarded to Tex, best little manager evvah! For handsome posters arbcom campaign, hospitality, unwavering loyalty to Great Zilla! Affectionately, bishzilla, 18:02, 3 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Hmmmm. "Your signature should not blink, scroll, or otherwise inconvenience or annoy other editors." [1]. Uhuh. [Darwinbish sets to work to make her signature waggle, squeal, and give electric shocks. ] Rather difficult! Big Tex help? Big Tex home? If not, I better ask Big Rex! darwinbishBITE01:52, 3 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Little Darwinbish could never annoy other editors! At least not with sig, that is. Unfortunately, Big Tex has terrible browser, so I can't tell if your sig is blinking or not. Just got back online, so I will follow Little Darwinbish around to see if Big Rex has already been asked before I muck about with it. Tex (talk) 17:29, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Big Tex contributing from work. Shhhh...don't tell bosses. Can't use anything but crap browser! I'm sure Darwinbish's sig is beautiful, I just can't see it in it's full glory. Tex (talk) 18:09, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I know, it's terrible isn't it? But, I can always think back to the days before Al Gore invented the internet. My first computer used DOS [gasp!]. Some day we'll all have a choice in which browser we get to use as we're screwing around at work. But until that day comes, I can only imagine how beautiful Little Darwinbish's sig is... Tex (talk) 18:44, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hahahaha... oh dear!
Tex, I mostly try to ignore the Terrible Twins... but that animated gif you made of them is totally brilliant! And you've even given them a touch of (sort of) sweetness and innocence, tumbling about like any little socks... lol. Bishonen | talk23:56, 4 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Lookit, Big Tex, I made fine new sig, haha! [Darwinbish bites Tex on the ankle to illustrate. ] It has room for contribs and everything! Where do I apply for developer status? littleanklebiter18:25, 5 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
"Where do I apply," indeed. You know what's funny, Tex? The twins already speak better English than Little Stupid, and way better than Bishzilla. It's a curious thing. I wonder if they're simply smarter? [Solicitously: ] How's the ankle? Bishonen | talk18:34, 5 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Ha! That's a fine new sig you have there, Little Ankle Biter! Bishonen, apparently the twins evolved quicker than Mighty Zilla and Little Stupid. Their names must have rubbed off on them. Tex (talk) 20:39, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, Bishonen, look at this. Now, why would anyone on other Wikis want to use Little Ankle Biter's animated gif? That's just weird. I declined the invitation to move it over to Commons. I'm not usually on Wiki during the weekends, so you might want to watch that file to make sure it stays here if I'm not around to stop it. Tex (talk) 20:43, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I just removed the template that strange person put on it saying it was a candidate to be moved. I guess just put it on your watchlist and if you ever see someone put another tag on it, just remove it. Thank you! Tex (talk) 17:31, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That was my stupidity, sorry. I didn't look properly at the diff you linked to, but like an idiot, assumed it was "current". Sure, I can do that, and write a sharpish edit summary. And send d-bish to bite them on the talkpage, if necessary! :-) Bishonen | talk17:48, 6 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Yes, it is a fine adminning bag. I was looking for a brown paper sack, but nothing jumped out at me so I thought Little Ankle Biter would look good in shopping bag as I take her home for the holidays. No biting Little Tex ankles during Christmas, though! Tex (talk) 14:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
[Dubiously.] What's "Christmas"? Is it ok if I just nibble a few ankles during Evolutionmass? Remember we are Darwinists! Tex seen Evolutionmass greeting card with Pod at the head and redhatted Darwin in the sled, hee hee? [3] Pod very full of himself after that! darwinbishBITE22:00, 18 December 2010 (UTC).[reply]
Christmas is the day Darwin was destroyed! Amazing what you can find in this so-called encyclopedia, huh? Anyways, Little Stupid looks mighty fine leading Santa's sleigh. Too bad Mighty 'Zilla wasn't invited! Tex (talk) 14:01, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Mighty Zilla too big maybe. Next year evil little Darwinbish be at head of sleigh! [A prey to delusions of grandeur after all the nice comments in her RFA, Little ankle biter starts to think about creating her own sock. ] Darwinnorthernterritory would be fine sock name! darwinbishBITE19:22, 20 December 2010 (UTC).[reply]
