I don't want to discourage you, but you may have trouble finding folks to do this work. Your recruiting pool is probably just a couple thousand people. You could ask at Wikipedia:Request a query if you want a closer estimate, but just start with this back-of-the-envelope calculation: about 100K accounts have made a total of 500 edits ("only" 500, some editors will say), probably 60% of them are outside the US, and probably more than 90% of them are completely inactive (haven't edited for many months/years).

If your program requires a high volume of reviews (i.e., more than 10), I think it's doubtful that you will be successful. WhatamIdoing (talk) 03:49, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've asked for a more accurate estimate at Wikipedia:Request a query#Number of active high-volume editors I'm explicitly not saying that you need to follow the criteria I suggested there (they're things that are easy to query). But it should give you an idea of how many people might be currently active and have been around long enough, and the RAQ folks might give us an answer by tomorrow. We've got a number: about 9K worldwide, so maybe 4K in the US. Have you looked into "conversion rates", so that you could estimate whether your recruitment success is likely to be closer to 1 in 1,000 or 10,000 or 100,000? WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:20, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
