New year 2014Happy new year to all you triskadekaphobiacs, the 13th year of the 21st century is a wrap. (Siwwy super-stitching wabbits :) A long time ago, "Hum, I wonder what this [edit] link is for?" And the rest is history. Thanks to everyone for encouraging me to keep going, (or did you say go away:) All my best to y'all in 2014. —Telpardec TALK 03:00, 1 January 2014 (UTC) Tree of life 'Darksiders' referenceThe tree that is depicted in the first Darksiders game is the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The tree that is depicted in the second Darksiders game is the Tree of life. I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't making two different versions of the same reference.Love to help Wikipedia (talk) 18:35, 28 January 2014 (UTC) February 2014Hello, I'm BracketBot. We noticed though that when you edited David Freddoso, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Notre Dame (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. SignatureI hope you don't mind, I just would care to voice my annoyance with your signature. In my opinion signatures have little business being pixel art. I know many people are and have been dressing up their signatures significantly over the last few years, you are not alone, but I'm making it my policy to start complaining more about this, since it seems to be getting out of hand lately. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 10:38, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
Summer of MonumentsGood morning Telpardec, I see you are an active Wikipedian in Kentucky. Thus, I am here to tell you about the "Summer of Monuments" photography effort which began on July 1. We are trying to improve our coverage of Nationally Registered Historic Places, of which many in Kentucky remain undepicted! You can find which places are near you (and which are photographed) using this map tool. Your user page and recent edits indicate that you are interested in The Bible -- which, I realize, does not necessarily imply that you are interested in churches! But if there is an aspect of history, a work of architecture, a populated area, etc., that you would like to see better documented on Wikipedia I would encourage you to share. Or maybe you know some people you would like to tell about Summer of Monuments. There are prizes for the best three photos, for what it's worth. I hope you have a happy and fulfilling summer. Monumenteer2014 (talk) 12:23, 7 July 2014 (UTC) In regard to thanked edit on Web colorsPlease see the "todo" in this previous edit summary of mine, which is what your edit resolved. I did use Select All, so I was aware of it, but I didn't consider it a high priority because (1) I don't have that much experience with MediaWiki table syntax and (2) the background wasn't technically pure white. Sorry if this sounds a bit defensive; none of it is meant to diminish the sincerity of the thanks. I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't being sloppy, nor do I intend to be in general. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 19:52, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Settings for visual editorHi. Thanks for the summary note (Biblical chronology). What setting would I need to change to avoid those <span> things? I'm not so familiar with the mark-up language. Not sure what span even does. Thanks, ProfGray (talk) 14:24, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Capital letters archive durationIf you have a look, you will see that there are two very large sections that are closely related (almost contiguous). One is an informal RfC and the other, a formal one with the same subject. This is an anomaly rather than the norm. Cinderella157 (talk) 10:56, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
