Yogananda Pittman: archive-urlHello. I edited the Yogananda Pittman article to replace a dead link to an MSN.com page that had previously published an article from CBS News with a live link directly to the CBSNews.com original page of the article (that would have been a better link in the first place). You edited my ref tag to convert the link to a version at Archive.org , using an archive-url URL value instead of my CBSNews.com URL url value. Why point at Archive.org instead of to CBSNews.com ? If that were the best practice, then every link to outside Wikipedia would be archive-url at Archive.org . — Preceding unsigned comment added by DocRuby (talk • contribs) 12:32, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
