User talk:Tan MeifenYour recent editsHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:57, 27 January 2012 (UTC) In response to your feedback
Hi Tan, and thank you for your feedback. Whilst that is indeed the way that most encyclopedias are created, Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia. Instead, it is created through collaboration, as enshrined in the founder's statement of principles (and I realise that makes me sound a bit like a cultist...) Expert input is appreciated, even sought after, but because Wikipedia content is based on reliable sources rather than original research, in theory anyone can access and verify the information presented here. Your help, especially if you have expert qualifications in a particular field, would be valued. I hope you enjoy editing, if you have questions please feel free to ask at the helpdesk or on my talkpage. Happy editing! Yunshui 雲水 14:51, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Demographics of Malaysia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Telugu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Velirs. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Rajkris (talk) 20:24, 9 July 2013 (UTC) You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} . However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Daniel Case (talk) 20:54, 9 July 2013 (UTC) September 2013Hello, I'm BracketBot.
