Invitation to participate in studyHello, I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview. Thank you Ewitch51 (talk) 20:26, 11 June 2018 (UTC) I've nominated this article that you accepted for deletion. Some senior editors have removed it when I have included a flag, some have said its ok. I got the idea from other biographies, and I enjoy a bit of color in the infobox. Not the best reason for having it! The nationality issue, I am a bit confused. Most senior editors I know use Nationality in their infoboxes, even when they can determine place of birth. That is why I started including it. It is redundant information in my biographies, as I list nationality in the first sentence. It makes sense to not include it in future infoboxes. thanks for the input. Hello, My article on Anasuya Shankar keeps getting reverted back to its original, when actually we've included much more information. She passed away in 1963 so we have used everything there is now. We have her late husband's original documents detailing her life, as well as some books that we have referred to that are not on the internet. We have included comprehensive information and original photos, which were in his documents. Could you please let us know what else to fix so that it stops getting reverted back to it's older form? Ways to improve List of people from the Northern Mariana IslandsHi, I'm Boleyn. Thsmi002, thanks for creating List of people from the Northern Mariana Islands! I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add sources per WP:SourceList. The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Boleyn (talk) 13:47, 4 July 2018 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Trevor Engelson
A tag has been placed on Trevor Engelson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I have looked the article over and think that it could be expanded for GA if you can find sourcing. I will be honest, scientists are very difficult to do. Most of the articles one finds in free space are by them, not about them. Typically, I find the best sourcing is in an obit for their discipline. I'm going to advise you as I was advised and trust me, I needed a lot of encouragement and handholding, so if there is something you are confused about or seems overwhelming just let me know and I'll try to help. It may also help to read this review Ferrari as many of the points made here are relevant. Dr. Blofeld and Montanabw were my mentors in GA. They said the article should be at about 15,000 bytes of text before final editing. That seemed really daunting to me. But the goal is to make the article as comprehensive as possible. In this case, there are a lot of places to expand.
I hope I have not overwhelmed you (that is definitely the feeling I had when Dr. B and Montanabw suggested I take an article to GA status the first time). SusunW (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. Mint (album)Hi, earlier I tagged you in an edit summary on Mint (album) when I retargeted it to Mint as I felt it was too generic a title as there have been other albums titled Mint in music history. To paraphrase, I said "please make sure the information is listed in the article you're pointing the redirect to". Afterwards, I saw you actually did add information relating to the album on Alice Merton's article, but pointed the redirect specifically to the Discography section, where the only mention was next to the single "Why So Serious". I just felt it would have been more helpful to list it at the top of the discography section (as all albums take precedence before all other types of releases). Ss112 08:56, 20 September 2018 (UTC)

On Sept. 17, you first added that template with the edit summary, "rate, {WIR-91}"—which I found inscrutable. I then deleted it with the edit summary, "Remove {WIR-91} template, which creates false impression this article was created or improved as part of edit-a-thon hosted by Women in Red project, and by inexperienced editors. Correlation ≠ causation." I am relieved to find that you are not one of the new editors about whom the template cautions, having been editing Wikipedia since Oct. 2017. I commend your contributions, and in particular your 16 edits (4.35% of the total) on Christine Blasey Ford. Please permit me, however, to offer a suggestion. When first adding the {WIR-91} template to an article's talk page, it might reassure other editors to know (via your edit summary) that you are not claiming the article for Women in Red as if it were a group effort by project members, and that you are not a new editor.
