Glenfarclas (talk) 23:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of CarterCoptersA tag has been placed on CarterCopters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding December 2009Welcome to Wikipedia. Regarding the implementation of {{Infobox power station (temp)}}, the discussions there has sort of stalled, and I believe it is somewhat clogging the normal editing process. It will be a month since I started the discussion tomorrow, which is a bad sign. The purpose of the discussion was basically to understand if the merge is error-free, which I believe is already achieved. We could always improve the template after the merge just like any other template. Waiting for the perfect template to be formed doesn't make sense; Wikipedia is an ever-improving encyclopedia. Please state here, or at the talkpage, if you agree that the support arrangement for the merge is properly done. Or the reasons why its not. I look forward for your response. Kind regards. A tag has been placed on Groasis Waterboxx, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Shale oilHi, and thanks for your edits on shale gas and shale oil. However, I reverted your addition to the shale oil article, because, as it stands now, the article is about oil generated from kerogen-bearing shale, rather than about oil produced from oil-bearing shale. This is a source of increasing confusion, as the news media, the oil industry, and (as you properly cited) government sources have increasingly used the term shale oil as you used it, and not as the Wikipedia article uses it. Please contribute your opinion to the Shale oil talk page. Plazak (talk) 22:38, 20 December 2013 (UTC) A Tesla Roadster for you!

Speedy deletion nomination of Electricity sector in Poland
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Electricity sector in Poland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. We are writing you this message because there is great news: The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation has finally passed a resolution stating that the Foundation is committed to seeking ways to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment. Also, we have created a cool logo and found a nice name for the project which you can see on the right :-) What's next? Currently, we are working with Wikimedia Foundation staff to make sustainability a key priority for the selection of a new location for Wikimedia servers in Singapore. Also, we have presented the Wikimedia Foundation with a green energy roadmap to have all Wikimedia servers run on renewable energy by 2019. Please help! Let's keep this project moving forward – and there are several ways in which you can help:

I can't find anything on the pages of the Route Log you added, and pages 173 and 178 of the same pdf do say S-N and give a route description in a S-N manner. Hi, I noticed an edit you made to the Nikola One section of this page some time ago, stating a post-gear-reduction torque output of 100,000 lb-ft. I was unable to find any supporting evidence for this figure, and changed it to 86,000 lb-ft as claimed in May, 2016. If you have a source to your 100,000 lb-ft (or any other) figure, please revert and provide a link to your source. Glenebob (talk) 22:10, 1 October 2017 (UTC) Hello. Are you ok with the above file being deleted (since it is no longer needed)? I just came across it when doing some cleanups. Rehman 08:57, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited How Do They Do It?, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Scooter and Russian Standard (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) Chidgk1 (talk) 15:30, 1 December 2021 (UTC) Hopewell traditionThere are multiple reasons why this is simply wrong. Eg the fact that corn/maize wasn't a staple at the time, that there is no evidence the sites were contemporary or not ritual burning sites, technical problems about comets, etc. Let alone the authors. And a good example of why we should often avoid using primary sources.
