Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bathlogobutton.gif- Thanks for uploading Image:Bathlogobutton.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. - - If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:19, 27 October 2007 (UTC) Pectus ExcavatumI think "famine ribs" was someone's idea of a joke. Nice userbox by the way. Fair use rationale for Image:Ohio License Plate 2004.jpgThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ohio License Plate 2004.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hello, Zepp
Ohio selected biography nomineesHi Stepshep, The Ohio project's newest FA is Jack Warner, a biography of a Hollywood movie mogul who was raised in Ohio. I was involved in expanding this article and would prefer to avoid a self-nom. I did, however, want to let you know about the article's recent promotion. Thanks, -- twelsht (talk) 03:06, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Ralbot (talk) 02:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC) Orphaned non-free media (Image:BathLocalSchoolsLogo.gif)Thanks for uploading Image:BathLocalSchoolsLogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:19, 21 March 2008 (UTC) Well we are having a slow-pace, friendly edit war ;) . Somewhere along the lines Image:120px-Cincinnatiseal.jpg got replaced with the above image on that Portal page. The problem is now that one is fair use and the other public domain, but they are the same image. Which license is right? — Mønobi 22:18, 21 March 2008 (UTC) ACH!

Please be careful which articles you tag. If you have crossover with other wikiprojects please discuss tagging articles with those projects to ensure that the drama quotient remains low. Many editors prefer collapsible tags as they reduce the clutter on article talk pages. Remember that AWB is a very powerful tool and it is very easy to do a lot of damage very quickly. But that should then at least, be all the untagged ones in the stub categories tagged as auto-stub :) I shall do some more tommorow! (Well today for me now...) —Reedy Boy 01:25, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Wonder if you can help me...? User_talk:Reedy_Boy#Your_Student_Association - We've got a category crossover somewhere, so some candian articles have already been tagged.. I've just stopped it to try and fix it, and done some list comparison with Template:WikiProject Canada. I've found 1416 crossovers, which i am going to remove to be on the safe side. —Reedy Boy 12:46, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

New Ohio FAHi Stepshep, I'm preparing for an extended wikibreak, and my latest SA noms were uneven. I did come across a new FA, however. A bio of Toledo-born Katie Holmes probably belongs on your list of FA-class articles. Best of luck! -- twelsht (talk) 06:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

IcelandThe presidential flag (The one with the new vectored coat and white rectangle) is OK, but the old "SVG" image of the flag is technically poor, since it has a raster image embedded into it. It should be overwritten with the new, correct one. 68.39.174.238 (talk) 22:40, 7 April 2008 (UTC) PS. Stop that obnoxious "Offline" blinking!!!!! ARHG CropI substituted the image at Portal:Ohio/Skyline/5, because the second was better. However, it is a bit tall, and I was wondering if you could crop out the sky a little. Thanks! GuernseyYep, I drew them by hand with the Bezier tool. I usually trace over the raster image with global opacity (of the path I'm tracing) set to about 60 to 70% so I have a clear view of the image underneath. Best, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 01:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC) |
