Article moveHello Stevietheman, I was just soliciting input for a request for an article move for Talk:The Brycc House. I found this article while making an assessment from a list of needing assessed and it needs a lot of work. This being one of the top priorities. Activity survey for members of WikiProject Companies
I wanted to get a notion of the level of activity of people who are members of WikiProject Companies with respect to monitoring the WikiProject Talk page and participating in discussions of interest and/or responding to requests for input. Could you please visit Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Companies/Member information#2008 Quarter 1 (Jan-Mar): Talk page monitoring survey and adding yourself to one or more of the several groupings listed? Thanks for your assistance. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 03:51, 9 January 2008 (UTC) rollbackHi, I think I have given you rollback privileges. when looking at diffs, or article histories or your watchlist, you should be able to rollback edits with just one click. This should just be used with simple vandalism or obvious mistake edits; anything else and you should do a manual revert so you can explain the reason. Let me know if it didn't work... the ability to give out rollback access to non-admins is still a new feature. --W.marsh 22:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Your Dr. Justin McCarthy editI fixed up a couple things on Justin McCarthy, that seemed completely biased. It seems that the Armenian propagandists are trying their best to edit the Justin McCarthy article to make him look like some "nationalistic agenda follower", which is just not right. I thought Wikipedia had policies against portraying living person biographies in a negative way. Is anyone even allowed to add "Criticism of his work"? I mean because then you can add criticism of just about anybody. Anyway, I didn't remove anything cited or referenced properly. But be aware that people with Armenian nationalistic agendas are continuously vandalizing that page and semi-vandalizing it to make it seem like Justin McCarthy is some sort of "denialist" or "liar" or "propagandist" when his work is so well supported. I also wanted to thank you for your initial edits at cleaning up that page, it was very honorable of you to help fight vandalism. Quite frankly, I'm not even sure why the heck "Armenia wikiproject" is involved in that article, but obviously not with good intentions. Arsenic99 (talk) 04:54, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
City-Data forumYou should consider making an account at City-Data Forum. It gets a ton of hits, a lot of it from people outside the local area who want information about moving to Louisville. We currently have nice picture threads up for Louisville. Ain't got no quarrel with the Vietcong ( Ali Page)I contact you because you seem to take great interest in the Muhammad Ali page, and trying to keep things straight there. I am dubious about the claimed full text of the quote starting as above. I also think that justifying the quote via a 1994 article ( for something supposedly said in the 1960s) is not an adequate justification. I lived through the relevant period, and remember seeing Ali say the "Ain't got no quarrel with the Vietcong" line on more than one occasion, but not the "they never called me ..." . I do remember Ali speaking about not wishing to take up arms against his "brown brothers", and similar phrases. It is possible that the claimed text was spoken on some other occasion, but if so, someone needs to come up with better evidence that given at present. WikiProject Companies - Health Industry - article request for Pharma NordHi Stevietheman, I can see that you are a member of the WikiProject Companies subgroup on Health Industry. I've written a draft for an article on Pharma Nord, a Danish pharmaceutical company. As I am employed by the company, I'm contacting you to request having it published as an article, as outlined in the WP:BFAQ. Since Pharma Nord is a Danish company, this could also fall into the area of WikiProject Denmark, but I thought I'd contact you first. The draft is posted on my talk page. Thank you in advance. (JTrier (talk) 15:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC)) Horse race stubsCategory:Unassessed Louisville articles I listed a bunch of horse racing articles I found in the List of graded stakes at Churchill Downs while I was working on copy editing on Kentucky Oaks. Most of them are stubs and flirt with deleting. Any ideas on what to do? Also wanted your consensus on the list of winners on the Kentuck Oaks and other horse races. Shouldn't they be listed in a seperate article for the large races like the Oaks and the Kentucky Derby? Then just do a see also tag in the section for the Winners. BarnstarThank you for the Barnstar, -Jahnx (talk) 04:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC) Ever wonder how many people you run off, Stevie?I realize you're just a geek with zero life and a computer in front of you and your business revenue must be laughable given your troll-like obsession with guarding the Wikipedia bridge. But I wonder have you ever considered how much damage you cause to this page by preventing other points of view? Like other victims I've seen you summarily dismiss with your eminent domain philosophy, I too had something relevant, germaine and well written to share. But if it doesn't jibe with Geek MaGruder's view of the Wikipedia World, then too bad for the rest of us. So, maybe you got here first and you've got your white knuckles around the proverbial information pipe but know that you've done more harm than good and that even the other sycophants on this page know at heart that you're a petty and unpaid security guard at best. Congrats!!! Perhaps that will make you feel as important as you often dream of being.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.39.74 (talk • contribs)
Just one article, eh?Steve, I realize you have to defend the fort to maintain your one purpose in life... but is it really about one article? I gave up offering content when I saw that Wikipedia is really just a me-first message board and like many projects on the web, has hit it's zenith in enthusiasm and is no longer taken seriously. In fact, it's taken with great suspicion. And self-centered, mediocre people like you have contributed greatly to that perceptual demise. You think it's Steviepedia. What's funny about your 'one article' defense is that you know you've had repeated issues with many others. One example was the fact that your beloved, life-sustaining Ali page (which is incomplete, superfluous and poorly written) was locked because of wars that you caused. I don't have the time in my normal life to survey all that you've done on the Wikipedia site to see where else your petty self-appointed authority has chased others off but we both know it's probably a lot. You're just a desperate lonely guy who probably lives in his mom's basement who has taken this cause du jour under the fervent hope he gets a barnstar he can tell the other Wizards of Warcraft buddies about. Maybe try having a girlfriend, a beer, or a life. You might like it. The fact that you had to 'research' my IP to figure out who else thinks you're a useless moron tells you how important all this is to you, how many people you've pissed off, and how desperate your cyber self image is too. So, go ahead, delete this quickly, or make another political grade defense of your honor. I don't care. My note has upset you far more than I intended already. And you know I'm right. Otherwise, be well, Captain Louisville!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.39.74 (talk) 18:26, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Riverwalk/ City of Parks mergerThe articles for Riverwalk (Louisville) and City of Parks should be merged, IMO Angry Aspie (talk) 22:15, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
If the Beter accusations are to remain in the article at all, I think we need to include a note to show what kind of source these theories came from. I'd say strike the idea entirely (not a good move; the claim is out there), or retain the "but Beter is a nutbar" aside; both, or neither, but not just "some vaguely reputable guy named Beter said...". --Orange Mike | Talk 20:41, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

If you are no longer interested in the Council, you need take no action: your name will be removed from the participants list on April 30 2008. Nyttend (talk) 20:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
The method to get your beliefs on this subject passed is to bring it up for discussion in some relevant place (perhaps Template talk:US county navigation box, perhaps Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. counties). The way to do it is not to change a few typical templates from the usual way to an unusual one. It's not a big issue, and surely there would be no standards violated if consensus decided to go with your position (in which case I would seek to enforce your position), but right now the standard is otherwise. And by the way, note that I provided reasons several times: don't say that I never answered you. Nyttend (talk) 16:12, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Louisville in the French WikipédiaHello Stevie is the man!. Just to tell you that we are working on the french wikipédia to do a Featured Article by translation of the english one. I hope that you will be please with the result. I hope that I didn't forget a big and important subject (article) that is important for Louisville. We have still to download the pictures on Commons (from wikipedia EN) because it is impossible at this time to use it on the others wikipédia... Maybe, it should be better in the future that you put your picture directly on Commons. Have a nice day ! Bye bye. A symptom of why History of Louisville, Kentucky has been delisted from GASays you in History of Louisville: In 1848, Zachary Taylor, resident of Jefferson County from childhood through early adulthood, and a hero of the Mexican-American War, was elected as the 12th President of the United States. He only served sixteen months in office before dying in 1850 from acute gastroenteritis. He is buried in Louisville at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery on Brownsboro Road. It's wrong to assert that the cause of Zachary Taylor's death was gastroenteritis. The cause of his death, which occurred in far away Washington, D.C., is uncertain. I regard it as a certainty that whatever the cause was, it is irrelevant to the history of Louisville. You may be aware that Taylor's father and Taylor's brothers were big in the cotton industry around Louisville. Cotton agriculture in Louisville's hinterlands was an important driver of Louisville's city economy at that time. Yet Wikipedia's History of Louisville effectively says nothing about this (the word 'cotton' only appears once, and only in a reference to New Orleans not Louisville). Louisville was one of the biggest cotton-bagging cities in the world in Taylor's day. Why? One won't find the answer in Wikipedia's history of Louisville. Instead of developing substance like that, you prefer to make allusion to the fact that Zachary Taylor was catapulted to the presidency from his prominence in the military, a fact that is beside the point for a history of Louisville especially since Zachary Taylor had almost no connection to Louisville in his adult life. As a minor other point, Zachary Taylor National Cemetery being located on Brownsboro Road is too trivial; it properly belongs in the Wikipedia entry for Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, not History of Louisville, imho. Please assist with bringing this article up to the latest GA standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.147.180.175 (talk) 00:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

LanternLightYes, it is obnoxious what LanternLight is doing, but I don't think there is an official policy that states that you cannot remove other people's comments from your own talk page (correct me if I'm wrong). The fact that he is removing yours and my comments is proof enough that he has read them. I reverted him on Rick Barry and I left a comment on his talk page. Even though he removed my comment, he did not re-revert me on the article. I think this edit war on his talk page is pretty pointless. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding Image:EarXtacy.jpgI've gone ahead and speedied Image:EarXtacy.jpg despite your recent changes to the image description page. I've deleted the image because while you have indicated a change in license, the source image still indicates that it is under a noncommercial-only license, which is incompatible with Wikipedia. If you are the copyright holder of the image, and have access to the Flickr account, change it there to a Wikipedia-compatible license and then you shouldn't have any problems re-uploading.
