I deleted the line you added about his being "rumored" to be the next host of The Price is Right. I don't even think there are any real rumors about Bob's successor, not to mention actual decisions. If you have a citation from something substantial, feel free to revert me. Otherwise, please don't add speculative stuff like this. SFT | Talk 08:16, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

It's also already noted on the Trump Plaza article. TJ Spyke 05:39, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi Srosenow 98, My reasons for editing your edit were twofold:
I respect your point that the article is about a US person & therefore a US-term would be reasonable.. hey, I use the same justification when Americanisms are applied to articles on British Commonwealth concepts which possess their own nomenclature. Given your close familiarity with local practice not only in the US but at KOMO, if you want to revert my edit, then I will politely stand back! The section on each image page at the bottom shows where it is linked as an actual image rather then just a link. To show the image is used and not orphaned, you need to add the not orphan template to the image page. Here is the text from the image deletion notice "If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan|article name}} to this page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again." Have a look at the Matt image page where I did this last time. You should add this non orphan template and remove the deletion template to the two news images. Hey, thanks for your comments on the 12/07 PNW storm talk page. It sounds like you have some good info on the storms that would contribute greatly to the article, so I would urge you to go ahead and just start adding the info, with reliable sources of course, on the snow and other parts of the storm you describe. Let me know if you need help. Thanks!! --Esprqii (talk) 19:46, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

~ WikiDon (talk) 08:36, 17 June 2008 (UTC) Clarification of copy permission assertionHi. I am investigating copyright problems listed at WP:CP and came upon the entry for Kenworth on June 17th. I see this was also listed on June 19th, so I have struck out the earlier notice as redundant. It looks like the matter is a bit complex and that you have been frustrated in your efforts to deal with it. There are two steps you might take to release material you've authored and published elsewhere on Wikipedia. First, you may place a notice somewhere on the website releasing this material under GFDL or into public domain or you may write from an address associated with the website to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org (or sent a postal letter to the Wikimedia Foundation) releasing this material under GFDL. These messages must explicitly permit use under the GFDL. This is important, as release of material under GFDL allows anyone to modify or reuse this material, commercially or otherwise. I note that your website does verify that you have authored a derivative version on Wikipedia, but it does not confirm that reuse of the material is permitted. It ought to be sufficient to note there that the material on Wikipedia is fully released by GFDL. To be on the safe side, I would recommend including a permanent link to the point where you introduced the material. Of course, you could simplify the whole thing by just releasing that page. :) Please let me know how you would like to proceed. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:47, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:KOMO_1973_logo.jpgThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:KOMO_1973_logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too.
