Hello, your recent change to {{Infobox FIBA tourney}} was causing errors because it referenced an undocumented parameter, {{{champions-flagvar}}}. This prevented the expression from expanding properly on pages such as U18 European Championship Men 2009 – Division B, which did not supply this parameter. Another editor has reverted your change. I think the solution would be to supply a default value as in {{{champions-flagvar|}}}. Please take a look, and don't forget to update the documentation. -- Tom N (tcncv)talk/contrib00:03, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

beacuse there references are useless, an external link to official website will include all of them. also the official website will be down in a month. I'm replacing these links with the stable refs (if I find). --Mohsen1248 (talk) 13:26, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Why are you removing the only remaining prose?
Look, I can understand if you really insist on adding those silly team standings in the qualifying round, but removing the only prose in the article is sad. If I'd list this at WP:Third opinion, someone will do use his/her common sense and will allow the prose to remain and remove the team standings tables. –HTD (ITN: Where no updates but is stickied happens.) 20:10, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
I have reverted your edit. First of all, the symbol should accompany the color because of WP:ACCESS. Second, the width change to the columns is largely unnecessary. Finally, addition of a dash into the link is also unnecessary imo unless it serves a purpose.—Chris!c/t20:36, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok, if you think the word host nation is enough, that is fine. I have no problem with that. But like I said, the symbol should accompany the color because of WP:ACCESS. Second, please explain why you think the width change is necessary. If you read other FL medal tables, the table columns do not have fixed width. Third, I don't see anywhere from the link you provided that explicitly says the sport of Judo always write a dash before the weight category. That seems to be quite nonsensual. The word bout is a little unnecessary now that you mention it. And I left that word out.—Chris!c/t00:25, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Hello, can you please tell me where you have retrieved the dates for the World Wrestling Championships from? E.g. 1994 World Wrestling Championships mentions August 6–7 as dates for the 1994 World Women Championships. However, this information can't be found on [1]. Thanks and regards --217.227.95.148 (talk) 16:06, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Hey, you found any source for the results? The japanese site has the japanese result up and others with (waiting for confirmation) signs, the Iran result i got from a Teherantimes newspaper... Kante4 (talk) 23:12, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
You need to learn what vandalism is go read the policy. Secondly, although it might say it will be decided at the 2011 Asian Winter Games, the Council has asked Japan to stage the games. Intoronto1125 (talk) 00:09, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
you need to learn the policy more than me, WP:CRYSTAL, Japan most probably will host the games but it isn't official yet and Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 00:24, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Hello can you read? it says THEY HAVE BEEN ASKED TO STAGE THE GAMES. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED! Sheesh. For one it will not be held in Iran if that is what you want.Intoronto1125 (talk) 05:07, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
BLPs
Please do not add ethnicity and religion categories to articles without citations, as you did here. Please read WP:BLPCAT regarding biographies of living people and categories. Thanks--TM13:47, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
I also thought about it, not a bad idea but if you check the names of other Qatari players, Ibrahim Majid, Khalfan Ibrahim, Hussein Yasser and etc, they used the first 2 parts of their names. but Yusef Ahmed is a naturalized player, His real name is something different. so I'm not really sure which one is better. also his complete new name is Yusef Ahmed M. (maybe Mohammed) Ali !! --Mohsen1248 (talk) 13:55, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Somebody added that he was born in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Do you perhaps have a source for that, Mohsen? (You just mentioned, he is a naturalized player.) --Happolati (talk) 14:37, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
OK, I am going to move it back to 'Yusef Ali', as that is what the sources currently on the article confirm; Mohsen1248, if you are still admant to move the page, please use WP:RM. That sound fair enough to everyone? Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman14:50, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
He is a Somalian player (not sure if he born in Saudi Arabia or Somalia) but I think it's very hard to find any source for it, since the Qatari federation illegally naturalized him (as far as i know)
FIFA website isn't 100% accurate, especially for the players who didn't play in World Cup finals. AFC name him Yusef Ahmed, even his name is Yusef Ahmed in Arabic wikipedia, he wrote "Y. Ahmed" on his shirt. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 14:52, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
did you even see my examples ? you can move this page to Ahmed Ali when you move Sebastian Soria to Andres QUINTANA. please don't be obstinate, your source is FIFA website and I proved you that FIFA isn't accurate. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 15:07, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
You have proved that FIFA makes some mistakes - no website is 100% accurate. However, English-language sources provided on the article show that he is known, in English, as 'Yusef Ali', and that is where the article should be located. GiantSnowman15:14, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
I never said AFC is 100% accurate. this article is wrote by someone who don't know this player. his complete name is Yusef Ahmed M. Ali and anyone who don't know Arabic naming system (which is really strange) can wrongly name him Yusef Ali. go to AFC website, click on Live Match Cast, then find Qatar and see Qatar's squad. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 15:37, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, I've seen the AFC website, and as I've said, it uses both variants of the name - who is to say which is right?! FIFA and NationFootballTeams, at least, are consisent with 'Ali' and I'm moving the article there. Should you wish to move it back, please use WP:RM. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman15:45, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 22:27, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Iran at the Asian Winter Games (2007/2011)
For the sport totals, alpine skiing and cross-country skiing are seperate sports. (Look at country articles for the winter olympics for example). Secondly, great source you found for the team in 2011, but I was thinking maybe there is more athletes, because this is from the students federation, not the olympic committee's website? Not sure though. Intoronto1125 (talk) 15:08, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
First, I know and I agree that these are seperate sports BUT IOC counts them as 1 sport (like Swimming and Diving for example), see Olympic sports and see the number of sports (7 sports) in infobox of 2010 Winter Olympics and 2006 Winter Olympics. It's double standard isn't it?
Kind of disappointing right? I was expecting a team of 4 male and females for alpine skiing and cross country skiing (for males) and a team of snowboarders. I guess not. I am pretty sure there are at least a couple ski resorts there am I wrong? The 4X10 relay for cross country skiing was recently dropped from the program, and I am guessing, because Iran will not be sending a team of 4 athletes. Intoronto1125 (talk) 04:36, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Hey just wanted to ask you if any Iranian athletes will compete in ski-oreentering? [2] It says so in the offical website, does it say from the source you provided? Intoronto1125 (talk) 03:27, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I never read anything about it in Iranian sources, they are cross-country skiers but the official website is more reliable than anything. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 13:35, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
The website seems weird to me, they list 7 Iranian cross-country skiers on the pdf file, and 14 total but on the main page they only list 10 total. Intoronto1125 (talk) 17:28, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
actually the real number is 9 ! the 10th skier is the coach of the team, he is competing just because the organizers added the relay event. the rest of the names are officials. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 17:56, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Hey do you know who carried the flag for Iran during the Opening Ceremony? By looking at the ceremony it looked like Hossein SAVEH SHEMSHAKI am I right? Intoronto1125 (talk) 03:06, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I already searched about it and based on this article and this one, athletes didn't participate in the opening ceremony because it was held in Astana, (Alpine and Cross-county competition in Almaty) for example this guy Hossein Saveh Shemshaki competed in Downhill competition just some hours after the opening ceremony in another city. have you any photo or video about the Iranian delegation in opening ceremony ? maybe I recognize the flagbearer. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 08:35, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
no, but i think you have to ask someone who can understand the russian language, I cant understand what the commentators are saying in this video. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 22:20, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 21:27, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 15:13, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
--Mohsen1248 (talk) 15:22, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
Mohsen1248 (talk) 17:04, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
--Mohsen1248 (talk) 19:17, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
--Mohsen1248 (talk) 21:57, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 22:24, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
No, Unfortunately Winter games (unlike Summer Games) isn't popular here. even many people don't know the Winter Games has the same value as the Summer Games. they just showed a short summary in news. but I watched it live on satellite. The ceremony was great like 2008 Summer Games in Beijing and way better than the 2006 Games in Italy. --Mohsen1248 (talk) 23:48, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
Better, but still a long way to go. There is a huge difference between Asia top 4 countries and the rest of asia. I hope at least these medals motivate the NOC to take winter sports more serious. there is something maybe interesting for you, the skier who won 2 medals at the 2011 Games is originally from Canada ! --Mohsen1248 (talk) 19:01, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
1)You deleted the break between the goal scorers of a game and the line to signal the start of the next. All other beach soccer pages have it the way it was originally.
2)You included the first names and surnames of players who scored, underneath a result, when showing who scored for that team. Only the surnames of players should be showing as they were originally.
3)The names of these players were not referenced, so we were unable to confirm whether or not these were the names of the players. The names we used to update the page came from the match reports from Beach Soccer Worldwide's official website http://www.beachsoccer.com, the offical organisers of the competition.
4)If these are the players' names, their full names were not updated in the top scorers section.
I know this may sound as if I am angry with you but I'm not. It would be great if you could give links to the squads of the teams so that we can clarify the players' names, that would be great. It would also be great if, when updating a page, you only use a person's surname when typing in a goal scored, underneath a result, but use their full name in the top scorers list.
I hope this doesn't offend you. I have no idea how much knowledge you have of beach soccer and I may well be speaking to someone far more experienced than me, but if you have any inquiries, feel free to post on my talk page, or feel equally as free to post on User:Caperspark's page. Like I said, if would be great if you could provide a link to the national squads of the participants.
1) break between the goal scorers of a game is useless, and I didn't delete the lines.
2) OK, and do you think Ali, Hassan, Karim, Gholi, Farid, Abbas, Adel and whatever are surenames ??? they are given names, I added surenames of the players ! how you can't understand this ?
3) I have enough references (not in english for sure 1, 2, 3), and beachsoccer, com isn't the official website of the tournament !
4) I didn't update the goalscorers section, because my job was didn't finish yet and I was searching for the rest of the missing players.
5) I don't care if you are angry or not, but what I did was right. and I have enough knowledge about Asian Beach Soccer. I watched all asian tournaments since 2006 and I know most of these players. Mohsen1248 (talk) 23:15, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Looks great go ahead I could not find results for the other ones though. What is you opinion on the word "ceremonies" on multi sports events calendars, should it be in the centre or in the left?Intoronto1125 (talk) 21:37, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
No i think you should still voice your opinion. And no I don't think you are mad, relax, I have my souces as well, [18], [19]. And lol at Tehran has no beach! but you know it can be held indoors. Intoronto1125 (talk) 23:01, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
I think you should change the english level from 2 to 3 or 4. Your English is really good, I don't think it should be a 2. Intoronto1125 (talk) 15:33, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
