Sahajanand Saraswati

I see that you have had a past involvement at Sahajanand Saraswati. I have just started to lay into the thing and so, doubtless, have again exposed myself to the fury! - Sitush (talk) 15:18, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Er, what past involvement? I don't remember the title at all and don't see my name on the contribution history? —SpacemanSpiff 15:42, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

These pages are getting a bunch of attention from dynamic ip's who are bent on removing cn tags and removing connections between India and Pakistan. I reverted them once and removed some PA's on the Nai talk page and was reverted, one of the edit summaries being: "pseudo westerner(pakistani) situshs fake account edited the page". Would you mind semi protecting both articles? JanetteDoe (talk) 13:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

I have semiprotected and placed the General Sanctions warning on the article talk page as well as provided a user warning to the IP. —SpacemanSpiff 13:21, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. JanetteDoe (talk) 13:32, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Please help to move the section: Kerala#Kerala_in_religious_traditions down in the article. Almost all WP articles on state or country keep the standard order of 1.Lead 2.Etymology 3.History.... But here we are mixing the mythology with history. We need to standardize the things. I did it 2 days before, but today it has been reinstated by User:SumerianPrince--AshLey Msg 16:24, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Discuss it on the talk page, if it's a dispute between just two of you then request an opinion through WP:3O, but wait for a discussion on the talk page to throw something up. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:27, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Images being inserted

Hi, an IP is adding markers to articles on Wisconsin Highways, like this here. Is the alright? I reverted one via Huggle, when I found out that it happened across several articles so I left it there. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 16:40, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, no idea. US Roads wikiproject is quite active, so you can try posting at their talk page. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:43, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Infobox

नमस्ते! Can you add an infobox to the this article: Warren Lee (cricketer). Thanks, extra999 (talk) 05:28, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

And improve the contents a bit. extra999 (talk) 05:28, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
The infobox template is at {{Infobox cricket biography}}, someone on WP:CRIC had created a tool to create infoboxes automatically, I forgot where it's located or who it was, perhaps you could check there? I'll see if I can get to this one in the next few days. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 06:55, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Please take a look, have added an infobox. And one more: Zoheb Sharif. extra999 (talk) 09:21, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
I see that Associate Aff has already fixed this one. What you could do is copy over the info box code from a similar player as that'll save you the trouble of having to decide which one to leave in and which one to remove. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 13:41, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Brett Lee list

Please let me know if the list has got more issues. Vensatry (Ping me) 06:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

I'll take a look soon. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 06:55, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Inappropriate at Talk:Nai (caste)?

I realise that you have added the caste warning/GS template at Talk:Nai (caste) but are the comments made by the IP among this series of edits really worthy of retention? - Sitush (talk) 00:07, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

I rev'del'd them. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:50, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
The edit summaries have been rev del'd but the comments remain? - Sitush (talk) 09:28, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Paramahansa Yogananda

Are we dealing with a disciple at Paramahansa Yogananda and Autobiography of a Yogi? - Sitush (talk) 00:18, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Looks like the person is trying to write per refs but isn't perhaps aware of the difference, perhaps sending them to WP:Helpdesk or WP:ADOPT might be an option? Seems willing to listen unlike most of the hagiographers I've come across? —SpacemanSpiff 08:55, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

File:GSDhillon2.jpg image of Col G S Dhillon was taken by me at Shivpuri with my own camera and later on it was scanned and digitized to upload on Wikipedia. It may be used freely by anybody any where. burdak (talk) 02:33, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Sock

Definitely sock, not sure which one, MrPontiac1 or Lohar. Dougweller (talk) 15:01, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

OK, looking at it again, it's Lohar, blocked. Dougweller (talk) 16:32, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Sanjiv Bhatt

Not sure what is going on with Sanjiv Bhatt your edits were reverted. Cheers! Jim1138 (talk) 09:34, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the note, I'm not sure what's up with that article either, there's a little bit of copyvio/close paraphrase, lots of hagiographic content and problematic BLP content. I'll take a look soon or alert Sitush/Drmies to it as I'm a little hard pressed for time for a few days. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 17:19, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
I will trawl through it over the weekend, providing edit summaries for each removal etc rather than doing a bulk revert. The thing is a complete mess. - Sitush (talk) 18:05, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Indian Railways

I'm pretty sure that Indian railways is a national organisation. Because Official lang. of the country is hindi. Will it be considered as vandalism if i mention "(Hindi: भारतीय रेल)" to the article. 25 CENTS VICTORIOUS (talk) 10:46, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

There was an RfC on WT:INB that resulted in removing all scripts, now only the IPA is allowed per consensus. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:14, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Well, when I nominated it I was relatively new and I admit that it was a hasty move and a mistake. I agree that problems can't be solved in 1-2 weeks and also my real life is testing my nerves so I'll be getting very less time. You may proceed and fail it. I'll work on it and re-nominate it once the problems are addressed. Best regards, →TSU tp* 16:56, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

I see you've recently deleted this per CSD G5. Is that still a concern at this point?  -- WikHead (talk) 20:13, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Sigh, thanks for the notification. This is a sock puppet of Mughal Lohar and we've had a lot of problems with his sourcing. I'm away from WP for a while, so I'll alert Dougweller to this as he's also involved in cleaning up this mess. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 11:48, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sridhar100, This is all far too time-consuming, seriously. Dougweller (talk) 13:52, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Dougweller and SpacemanSpiff for your replies. Because I have no prior knowledge of this user and activities, I'm probably better off staying out of the way of the SPI in effort to not confuse. The log file for this article suggested that there may have been some underlying concerns that my non-admin eyes were unable to see... and the response to this thread makes it clear that my assumption was indeed correct. Sorry to be the guy to bog anyone down with all the time consuming leg-work . Have yourselves a great day, enjoy your time away (Spaceman), and happy editing (both)! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 20:45, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Template:Mughal Empire

I think I've cleaned up. Note I had to provide diffs, but I had other information I wasn't going to make public. Do you want to clean up Template:Mughal Empire which is full of red links from sock edits? Dougweller (talk) 10:27, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Will do in a couple of days when I get back to having some on-wiki time, I deleted and reverted a bunch of his stuff yesterday, sure the next sock will be up creating them before I get to the template. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 17:13, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I've reverted the template to pre-Lohar and Pontiac. I couldn't think of anything better to do. If there are some links that need to be added back, they can, but it appears to be that Lohar was having a field day. —SpacemanSpiff 09:40, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Krant

At User_talk:The_Blade_of_the_Northern_Lights#Lala_Hanumant_Sahai I have mentioned a recent warning that you issued to User:Krantmlverma. I know that you are busy and so thought it best to ask someone else to review what has been going on since the warning was issued. It is not pretty! - Sitush (talk) 17:38, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

I see Blade has already done what's needed to be done. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 09:40, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Duplicate accounts

Hi! Do you remember the Madhubala issue that happened last month? The Priyaaravind (talk · contribs) had created an article Madhubala of Mughal-e-Azam which you redirected to the original article. The user cried a lot of non-sense at Talk:Madhubala. I see some other Aravindshanker (talk · contribs) has created the same article now at Madhubala: Mystery and Mystique. (Have already asked for CSD A10 here.) But should we do something about these puppets? §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 08:31, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Sock blocked, A10'ed. If any more socking occurs, I'll block the main account too. The article can actually be deleted as G11 too as it's basically pushing the book in the name of the biography. —SpacemanSpiff 09:40, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! Some other admin who doesn't know the history might not find it suitable for G11 deletion. Then i will have to go through AfD for no reason. A10 is good to judge. §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 10:47, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

We have an editor who has added what I think are dubious references to this article. I earlier removed a lot of original research cited to the subject's works. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ravinder Kumar Soni - Ravinder Kumar Soni is being used as a source not just for this article but also Hindu Astrology. Dougweller (talk) 09:58, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

I've closed the AfD per the consensus there. Not aware of the subject one bit, I'll wait to see if Sitush stumbles upon this, else I'll have to devote some time later. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 09:40, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
