DisengagementI don't know if it will work. I stopped responding to him a while ago and he still demands my being blocked. He would make a great ArbCom member, no? : D Okay, I'll probably be blocked for that one. Haha, and my oppose was really because you called me a troll before. I should have just said "spite". I still think you'd make a great editor. :P This all makes me wonder if (heaven forbid) I ran for ArbCom - would they oppose me for having a relationship with WR? LOL. Your candidacyPlease note I've posted further questions - if you could answer them within the next couple of days, that'd be great. Cheers, Ncmvocalist (talk) 09:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
An Arbitration case in which you commented has been opened, and is located here. Please add any evidence you may wish the Arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Ireland article names/Evidence. Please submit your evidence within one week, if possible. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Ireland article names/Workshop. On behalf of the Arbitration Committee, Daniel (talk) 03:39, 9 December 2008 (UTC) MooretwinCould you take a look at the messages on User talk:Mooretwin#SSSI, which together with his editing history show editing warring and a rather unbelievable implicit claim of not knowing about the problems I have pointed out to him. I would have already blocked him by now for some of this, but a fresh pair of eyes would be best under the circumstances. DDStretch (talk) 00:59, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Can I ask that you (SirFozzie) take a look at the messages Mooretwin has posted regarding myself, as I am now too involved. On my talk page, he posted many messages after I asked him not to, he has proposed many requested moves (Special Protection Area, Area of Conservation, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Site of Special Scientific Interest, and Special Area of Conservation), and then voilated WP:CANVASS by posting a non-neutrally worded message on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style#Capitals, and on his talk page suggested it was a vendetta when I advised him to alter it, which he did using a rather unacceptable form of wording (I consider), and now he has suggested I am being disruptive on his talk page. Thank you againFor every one who voted in the 2008 ArbCom Elections. See the statement on my user page for more, but it is really appreciated, and I hope everyone who voted will give their full support to the incoming Arbitrators. SirFozzie (talk) 08:05, 16 December 2008 (UTC) Slight Wikibonk hereMy computer is DOA right now, so I may be a bit slow to answer inquiries. Hope y'all understand, but I'lol try to keep in touch as possible. SirFozzie (talk) 08:05, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
I am so proud...You've left the nest! لennavecia 15:52, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank youFor this. I think you go easy on Giano in it from my POV, but the general sense is the same. The version I've wanted to express for the last while would be markedly shorter, markedly more profane, and get a whole horde of colourful templates. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:59, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
ThanksThanks, appreciate that a lot. Getting a pain in the arse with these snipping accusations [1], [2], [3] [4] and regardless of who warns them. All the move requests were rejected, so why persist? The way I want to look at it is that it is all in the past and move on from the accusations and personal attacks and assume good faith but it is not looking good at the minute. Anyhow, thanks again, --Domer48'fenian' 21:28, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Ah no, fair play and credit were its due, you stepped in there and you really didn’t have to. You could have left it to someone else, but didn’t. I’ve moved on, and I can honestly say I don’t let things bother me. I appreciate you stepping in, that you stepped up to the plate and made the call is enough for me. I know full well, if you think I’m in the wrong you’ll let me know quickly enough, and more besides. I’m putting my contributions together of wiki as you may have noticed, before posting and researching information on a couple of things so as to aim for a featured article. So all I’m doing at the minute is mopping and minor edits. I will not be letting distractions deflect me from our over all goal of building up articles. Efforts by you, such as today contribute just as much to that goal. I’m still the same editor I was like when I started, tenacious on facts and detail, spirited and enthusiastic. I’ve learned however, that the best response to editors who try to deflect me is to provide well referenced and sourced text. I’m starting to enjoy editing again, and take the BS in my stride. By trying to draw attention to me, they inadvertently draw attention to themselves. If however you had not intervened, I could have been at the mercy of an Admin who did not know the history behind all the bluster. That’s why you were right to do what you did, and why I really appreciated it. I’d love to give you the opportunity to prove that you can and will come down on me just as hard as anyone else, but unfortunately those days are behind me, and I have no wish or intension of going back. I hope my response is a measure of the appreciation. Thanks --Domer48'fenian' 22:18, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Personal commentsI noticed you made an accusation against me here. I have asked for it to be retracted. I put my hand up if I break the rules, but I have decided no longer to tolerate false accusations. Regards and happy Christmas. Mooretwin (talk) 19:39, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Merry Christmas
Happy HolidaysThanks for making 2008 an interesting and enlightening year for me; our paths have crossed often, and I have found your comments amusing, helpful or thought-provoking—I'll let you guess which ones were which! Best, Risker (talk) 03:43, 25 December 2008 (UTC) Merry Christmas to All, and to all a good *CHOMP*I will be out and about a lot over the holidays.
