We noticed though that when you edited Phantom cat, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Puma (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. cats as meatI'm a little surprised by your summary reversion of my section on cats as meat. Certainly, one could put in various sources but since the link "Cat Meat", where I took the data from, is already in the tiny paragraph, I just thought a little paragraph there on the page would be useful. If you really think its so contentious it must be immediately removed, I certainly can't be bothered with it. So be it. IceDragon64 (talk) 22:37, 11 June 2013 (UTC) Oh, never mind, I'm being a Grumpy Dragon. I'm sure you think you are doing the right thing by Wikipedia, trying to make people make it right first time etc. I don't see it that way, I'm a WikiDragon and I slap things in on impulse, in seconds, as I surf my way through, in a passing thought. - I might summon the willpower to do it right, or I might not- either way it won't end the world. Inspired by your action I lifted a section, refs and all, from Cat and put it into Hearing Range, which amuses me as it puts a contradiction in my new Cat section, complete with contradictory refs, saying cats have the wider range immediately over the Dog section, claiming dogs have a wider range. What fun Wikipedia can be! Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 15:14, 24 July 2013 (UTC) your feedbackHi Seduisant! You surely know that in the past I inserted links to the article about poaching in quite a number of articles. And recently started working on this, a delicate subject, the more so as I keep getting quite scathing comments from a new user, both on the article's talk page, and on my talk page. See also the latest revision in regards using ref Muth and Bowe 1998. Only if you are interested and have time for this at all: I'd highly appreciate your feedback. Please reply here. editing Carl Tanzlerwhile I am sure you like to act god with information. can you please stop reverting my addition to the "In popular culture" I am not "soapboxing" I have found a decent song which sold very well within its market which also happens to be about the article in question - I added it because I like being able to find songs by artists who were inspired by strange things and I was going to add more but already I have to piss about with making sure the original thing isn't removed. and when people like you remove stuff like that from wikipedia it makes people like me annoyed. so we can either remove that "in popular culture" section completely or you leave it as it was intended - to showcase the artistry inspired by that story. it's not upto you to decide which artists were worthy of being inspired by this story and I was surprised there weren't more artists in that list but now I know why. you do not decide what is and what is not culture. thankyou. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.249.46.53 (talk) 00:07, 27 February 2014 (UTC) You're invited: Women's History Edit-a-thons in Massachusetts this March

(You can unsubscribe from future notifications for Boston-area events by removing your name from this list.) FelidaeI note that you reversed my edit re the number of extant species. If there are 41 species, then the list in the article is wrong, as it only shows 40 species. [You will note that the Iriomote cat is clearly shown as a subspecies of the Leopard cat, which agrees with the article on the Iriomote cat.] An article that is not internally consistent is obviously wrong.Glevum (talk) 16:16, 8 April 2014 (UTC) Edit-a-thon inviteSoliciting comment...Hi! Cat yearsSince you are a regular I won't template you. But it is inappropriate (even against policy) to remove legitimate templates. Some things in the article are not sourced, notably the table with all the data. Thank you for watching the article, but please respect standard procedures on Wikipedia and discuss on the talk page if you disagree. Bengal CatsI likely removed the reference to Bengal cat's being related to Bengal Tigers. This isn't true. They come from a ALC and a Egyptian Mau — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nexus1979 (talk • contribs) 06:21, 1 September 2014 (UTC) |
