User talk:SeaBeeDeeWikilink at Leon UrisHi, welcome to Wikipedia. We don't use wikilinks for common words in articles, unless the article is about the word or its meaning. As it says at WP:Manual_of_Style/Linking#Overlinking, we don't link "Everyday words understood by most readers in context". I think that "surname" is such an everyday word. If you believe that some readers won't understand it, it would be better to just replace it by "family name" rather than sending them to another article to find out its meaning. The general idea is to convey the information to the reader with a minimum of complexity. Carry on editing! Zerotalk 08:49, 26 March 2016 (UTC) Your recent editsHello and welcome to Wikipedia. What you interpreted as a typo in the article was indeed a typo of sorts, but the letter and number referred to Book one, Chapter 6 in Lactantius. I fixed the error, and thought I'd let you know my reason for changing your edit. Best Haploidavey (talk) 11:28, 31 March 2016 (UTC) I see you're interested in fixing typos on Wikipedia. You'll probably come across many articles where ancient works are cited. In particular, scholarly works in the 19th century often used only Roman numerals. Others used a combination of Roman and Arabic numerals; so what in modern texts might be written as Book 3, chapter 5 might, in an older work, be written Book iii, Ch.5; or III, 5; or iii.5. Something to look out for! Haploidavey (talk) 11:41, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

I hope this helped! Good luck and happy editing, as they say... With kind regards;
@Patrick, I've made an irritating discovery on my user page: I can't edit anything other than my user boxes. I wanted to put a quick note on my page asking if anyone knows of a way to find articles without photos. And then I would like to learn how to find pictures to go with them. I know about the Teahouse but hesitate to go there with this. Thoughts? All the best, User:SeaBeeDee(talk) 19:20, 7 October 2016 (UTC) ThanksThanks for your comment on the PENISS Prize. Cheers. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 11:29, 1 July 2016 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for October 7Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of fictional characters with situs inversus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Traces. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. In general, there is no difference, however 'antagonist' is more accurate expression in relation with receptors. 'Inhibitor' is usualy connected with enzymes or ion-channels. I have no literature explaining this difference. User:gladissk(talk) 13:51, 3 January 2017 (CET) — Preceding unsigned comment added by JustBerry (talk • contribs) @gladissk Thank you for your reply! Based on your explanation, and with a bit of research I *think* that I understand these actions a bit better. While diseases, and medicines are a strength of mine, admittedly pharmaceutical drug actions are a bit of a stretch for me, and on the outer rim of my wheel house, but your help is much appreciated! I feel that I have to give an extremely well deserved shout out to @JustBerry as well, for waving the proverbial admin magic wand for fixing my boo-boo when trying to move the above from my main page to my talk page. I'm grateful to you both. :) User:SeaBeeDee(talk) 14:29, 7 January 2017 (UTC) SeaBeeDee User:SeaBeeDee(talk) 14:29, 7 January 2017 (UTC) Grammar ProjectThanks for the smiley! Much appreciated! What can I do to help out with the grammar project and/or the typo team? GrammarDamner (talk) 00:36, 7 March 2019 (UTC) First, you are welcome! Second, join the project, then just read articles and find typos. I click on just about every thought. Seriously. Next to Google, there isn't another page I look at more. I heart Wikipedia!

might be on board with the idea. He has authored several articles on military related pages. And if memory serves, is part of a Wiki military project if we should need help. Thoughts? A Joyous Yuletide to you!
