Do you know about this project? Your edits to the Scouting in Derbyshire (my old stomping ground from Sheffield in my youth) article were valuable. I have however tidied some of them a little. --Bduke (talk) 23:27, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Derbyshire Scout Logo.JPGImage:Derbyshire Scout Logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:20, 13 February 2008 (UTC) Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Derbyshire Scout Logo.JPGThanks for uploading Image:Derbyshire Scout Logo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:21, 13 February 2008 (UTC) Barnstar

Please ask your kid brother and his friends to stop trollingFrom what I remember, User Shmede is your kid brother. I'd appreciate it if you could ask him to stop creating sockpuppet accounts for trolling [1] [2] [3] [4]. Don't be surprised if you find yourself autoblocked in the coming days... Pascal.Tesson (talk) 21:14, 14 May 2008 (UTC) Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 NoticeHi, As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid. We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded. You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets. We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page! Queen's Park, ChesterfieldLot better now with the refs added. On re-reading it the lead could do with improving to say were the ground is to the rest of the world, and maybe split the history out to a new heading. I just had a quick glance when systematicaly tagging all the articles "Derbyshires sports grounds" or similar and it obiously was not B on current grading criteria so marked it. Thanks for fixing the refs when its been tweaked a bit more (the lead & that list which as you say is a bit poor), I'll get a second opinion as I learning the assessing proccess (dont want to over grade). I'm going to go through all the starts as a fair few will now meet C, and then do the Stubs to see what can be moved to Start, before I assess all the new stuff I've just tagged. I'll try and add comments to them to help people - Thanks again BulldozerD11 (talk) 21:05, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Chinese Grand PrixHow often do you visit motorsport websites? Didn't you see that the Chinese GP might be taken off the calendar in 2010 due to financial difficulties? I suggest you visit autosport.com to see for yourself, thank you, enjoy your day.IhttahTredniruSitnA (talk) 22:04, 14 November 2008 (UTC) HeySTOP RUNING MY POSTS THERE TRUE YOUR MEAN —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.73.72.203 (talk) 17:52, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

2009 Formula One seasonI semi-protected 2009 Formula One season for 1 week. I got fed up blocking the Tor nodes the anon was using. Let me know if he comes back after the protection expires. --GraemeL (talk) 19:16, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Your kid brother...... and his friends are on a rampage again.
Hi, I've just created the WikiProject Chesterfield, and wondered if you might be interested, as I need help with it and thought you might be able to help as you come from Chesterfield and seem to have done a lot of work on articles and images of Chesterfield. Thanks, Wikiert (talk) 17:01, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Use of HuggleWhen using Huggle, please be sure to evaluate the content you're reverting to; often, especially with biographies and schools articles, the blanking is done by the subject (for biographies) or a member of staff (for schools) because they don't know how to restore a good version when their article has been vandalised. Your revert here quite obviously reverted to restore patently offensive, and defamatory, content to the article. Daniel (talk) 03:14, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
