Welcome Sarah for SF!
Hello Sarah for SF.
Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for
your contributions!
I'm Pdebee, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.
Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{Help me}}
here on your talk page and someone will try to help.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
- Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to
have some fun!
Dear Sarah,
Further to your earlier request at my talk page yesterday, I have now reviewed your draft, applied a few cosmetic changes, and fixed a few simple issues. However, I would still recommend that you contact the Guild of Copy Editors, with a request for one of their volunteers to review your draft, and then work with you to ensure that it meets all prerequisites for a successful move into main article space. These editors specialise in this process and will ensure that all editorial guidelines are adhered to, and that your article meets the required standards. I hope that the little I have done today, including the present advice, will have proved of some assistance; I certainly wish you success.
With kind regards;
- Hello again, Sarah,
To request a review of your draft by someone at the Guild of Copy Editors, all you have to do is:
- click here: Requests,
- scroll down to/click on the "Submit a Request" button, which opens the request page,
- copy the "CCN: C-class nomination" words from the top table (to paste it later),
- scroll down to the editable text at the bottom of that page,
- replace "Articlename" with:
User:Sarah for SF/Sam Feldman draft|Sam Feldman
, within the double brackets,
- type your comments under the heading and paste "CCN: C-class nomination" somewhere within those comments,
- leave the tildes in place so that your signature is appended to the request,
- scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Publish changes', as usual.
- Please note that it will probably take a while before a volunteer takes on the task, but it is well worth waiting patiently, since this process will maximise your chances that your draft will be accepted for publication in article main space, after the volunteer has suggested any improvements that might still be required. Good luck, and I wish you success.
I hope this helped a bit more; if not, then please just let me know.
With kind regards;
- Hello, this is just a repeat of what I've written on my talk page, but could you please update your conflict of interest on the talk page of Sam Feldman (music executive) as apparently how you declared it was in an incorrect format. Please see WP:PAID on how to disclose. You could ask at Wikipedia:Teahouse if you need help. Curiocurio (talk)
- Hello, I did this myself, as it was straightfoward. Curiocurio (talk) 20:27, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
