Tagging attack pagesThanks for tagging Beth Larkin just now, but when a page is a personal attack like that, there is a better way to do it: blank the entire content, and replace it with {{db-attack}} or {{db-atk}}. That gets the attack off the screen so the attacker can't giggle over it, reduces the risk of it being picked up by mirror sites, generates a suitably fierce warning for you to copy to the attacker's talk page, and puts the article in a high-priority queue for admin attention. Perhaps you didn't know that we just aren't allowed to lift whole sentences from someone else's work and copy them into our articles (unless we make it clear that it's a direct quote, obviously). This is mainly for copyright reasons: published stuff legally belongs to its authors and publishers, unless it's licensed for anyone to copy it. For instance, the RuBot II article says
which is basically the same as the source's
That source has this line "Copyright © 2010 TechMediaNetwork.com All rights reserved." at the bottom, which means it isn't licensed for anyone to copy it. It's always best to write stuff in your own words, both to avoid plagiarism or copyright problems, and also to structure your article better, so it doesn't read like random sentences just stuck together. (to) center on ... in the introduction of the article about the Ayodhya debate. Almost immediately you reverted this change and declared it to be "vandalism". Can you please explain what you mean if you say something centers "around" an object? To me this is contadictory and just bad English. I have been working on adding and improving the articles of 12 functioning observatories in India. In January, I have been focussed on the Indian Astronomical Observatory. When you find that a redirect is in the way of a new article, you can just convert the redirect into a proper page. Redirects really only need to be deleted if either a page has to be moved from mainspace to mainspace or if there is something fundamentally wrong with it for other reasons. If you check the Tully article, he writes there was a commitment to the courts and government was that there was only to be a religious ceremony. Your edit says that this is what happened, but this did not happen, this was only what was promised beforehand. Tully then goes on to describe a political rally, with flags, colours and speeches, which developed into a riot that was at first resisted by police. This is what the Babri Mosque article describes - a rally and a riot. Trying to describe these actions as a religious ceremony could not use this article as a source. If you wanted to add a detail about the promise of a religious ceremony then the line could read 'despite a commitment to the Indian Supreme Court by the rally organisers that they were planning a religious ceremony and the mosque would not be harmed.' but I would consider this excessive detail, making the paragraph less readable and inferior to what is there now. I was actually trying to use the Tully reference as the source for the reverted paragraph, but obviously messed it up. I'll fix it shortly. Mdw0 (talk) 03:41, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

DYK for Quantum rotor modelI know almost nothing about this topic, and thus am not competent to advise on how should it written, but since you asked, I'll say something. (i) My motto is if I write technical articles for DYK, I focus more on laymen, i.e. define as many technical terms as possible (or simply ignore science conventions and use simpler language), even if professionals know that all. (ii) Some topics I don't dumb down, but don't sumbit to DYK either. I tweaked the prose. Please check. If I were you, I would munch the math and consequences, explaining what the parameters imply, extreme cases, explaining a bit the meaning of O(N) symmetry. In other words, expand the article with details, avoiding throwing out isolated technical comments. This is all much work, and surely the mere fact you wrote this article is already great.
