This is regarding the page 'Kim Hyun-joong.' I have noticed that the artist's page about the recent assault allegations have not been updated. Since the plaintiff has already dropped the charges, the prosecutors have already reported that due to lack of evidences; the case was brought to a close, none of these important facts about the case have been updated on his Wikipedia page. Considering how it is important to get these updated on time as it's a celebrated artist's page, it seemed very odd to me that there was a failure to edit it. You were the last person to edit the page so I wondered that it would be best to ask you about it. Also, I was told that this page was edited previously and you decided to take it down? Was there a reason behind it? That way if I get to know that someone takes the responsibility to edit the page, I could warn them of committing such mishaps. Hello and thanks for your response. This was only a request made by Mr Zenon. I am not a paid editor, I am a volunteer as I assume we all are. As it happens in this case, I agree with Mr. Zenon, which is why I accepted his suggestion... I do not know the WP rules regarding modernization of terms when referencing past figures (please enlighten me!), but it seems to me that at the time of Houdini, "escape artiste" would be the more accurate terminology. Why did I receive special treatment? That same page has: "salicylates (also found naturally in numerous fruits)", eggs "(typically albumen, the white)", and "Fel d 1 (Allergy to cats)". The last of which has no source and when you go to Wikipedia page for "Allergy to cats", it lists "The most common of these allergens are the glycoprotein Fel d 1, secreted by the cat's sebaceous glands and Fel d 4, which is expressed in saliva.". If you follow the links for Fel d 1 & 4 you find that they incorrectly swapped. (I leave that to you for correction.) In reality there is no such thing as a "wool" allergy. Just like there is no such thing as a Cat allergy. The allergy to cats is an allergy to either Fel d 1, 2, 3, or 4. The allergy to wool is an allergy to the lanolin that is naturally on wool, that is why synthetic (untreated) wool creates no allergic reaction. I'm unsure as to why certain facts are taken as obvious and lack the need for citation while others are challenged. Wool naturally has lanolin. People can be allergic to lanolin. People aren't allergic to the wool fiber. Thus when people refer to a wool allergy they are talking about lanolin. Cats naturally have Fel d 1-4. People can be allergic to Fel d 1-4. People aren't allergic to the cat itself (meat, bone, water, hair). Thus when people refer to a cat allergy they are talking about Fel d 1-4. I have a degree in Philosophy & Logic before going to contract law & programming and I can't see the logical distinction between the two above statements. You accepted the second while rejecting the first.
