Re: Transport in IndiaI'm a little busy these days, both on and off-wiki, and don't have the time to search for citations. Adding the 'unreferenced' tag will probably ensure that more editors come around to it and add citations. In about a week or two, I should be able to start adding citations to the page myself. Mumbai BRTSHello, regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumbai_BRTS I would like to bring it to your notice that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BEST-Mumbai-Brtsnewaug08.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BEST-Mumbai-marcopolo.jpg are photos of the same bus (Tata Marcopolo), but still you have written different names in the descriptions of the two files —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wcam1 (talk • contribs) 17:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC) For every category you create, you should specify parent categories to which it belongs. You can do this by listing the parents near the bottom of the page, each enclosed in double brackets like so: [[Category:State Governments of India]] [[Category:Hypothetical second category]] I've added at least one parent to the category. I invite you to check my work for accuracy and completeness. I am a human being, not a bot, so you can contact me if you have questions about this. But, the old starbuses are not used on BRTS routes. The top row right side pic and the bottom row left side pic are of the Marcopolo (only one Marcopolo is in service right now). The bottom row pic was originally posted by me on my flickr page http://flickr.com/photos/bestpicsbyakshay/ Wcam1 (talk) 18:57, 7 April 2009 (UTC) Hello Rsrikanth05!! Why is the article still called Bangalore and furthermore wasn't Bengaluru the original name of the city, which was later changed to Bangalore?? If this name change indeed took place two-three years ago, the article should indicate so. For e.g. Bombay became Mumbai and the article clearly indicates so. -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 15:49, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Minor editsPlease try marking some of your edits dealing with spelling, formatting etc. as minor. It helps other editors while watching pages. Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 13:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Delievered by SoxBot II (talk) at 16:49, 13 April 2009 (UTC) Stop moaning about this. I moved it back. You could have done that. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 13:28, 15 April 2009 (UTC) Re: your query on moving imagesFrom where do you want to move "existing" images to Commons? Delivered by SoxBot II (talk) at 19:10, 20 April 2009 (UTC) Bangalore/BengaluruI have moved your refs to a more appropriate location within the article, since they were somewhat misplaced. What we need is not a speculative news report, but a confirmatory official notification. I have been unable to find that even after searching :-( If you are able to locate it, please add the link. I have left a detailed explanation here. Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 10:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC) PS: You might want to consider archiving this talk page - it's already over 100 conversations long :-) TalkbackHello, Rsrikanth05. You have new messages at VirtualSteve's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. --VS talk 05:28, 22 April 2009 (UTC) Nice start-up you've got there! :-) I'm not too sure about the similarities to Road signs in the United Kingdom, though. I read that article, and took a look at some of the pics on that page - they don't resemble our signs to any significant extent. I will not be able to help out with this article for the next month or so - I have a review to work on as well as improving Transport in India - but till then, good luck at improving the article. Try adding refs along with the material - it's easier that way. Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 15:34, 22 April 2009 (UTC) Re:BIALLooks like the person thought (s)he was in possession of some "breaking news", and couldn't wait to share it with the world (remember the Vodafone ads?) ;-) I've identified the person - it was an anon - and left a message on their talk page. Keep up the patrolling! Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 14:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Hey!Hey, I've been inactive on WP for a long time now and so I saw your messages only now. I am not sure about how to use Devanagari script; would be better to visit the Hindi Wikipedia to see how they do it. User hash can be generated through --~~~~ (four tildes). As far as RBI goes, i personally feel that it is better to have the page (for that matter, any page) leading to an article rather than a disambiguation page; I am not too bothered about what page it leads to as long as the decision is arrived at through consensus. Hope this helps! --Gurubrahma (talk) 13:04, 24 April 2009 (UTC) Personal AttackThere's no need for this personal attack that you left here. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:33, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
EditsDo you mean the the edits at Bengaluru International Airport? The phrase "operated by" in this case just means the routes flowne are operated for the parent airline by the subsidiary, or even by another airline altogether. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 17:17, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Kanapur Centralplz tel me how 2 edit n properly place dat box as in Kanpur Central similar to the one in Victoria Terminus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Urprakhar (talk • contribs) 11:10, 26 April 2009 (UTC) Transport in India:MonorailWhich is the third city? Please add the name and ref - I couldn't find it. Also, the Skybus Metro has never been commercially implemented - what you see in Margao is merely a test track that has lain unused for the last couple of years.
