Problems

Hello Roundtheworld, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

I can see you have got the idea and are putting things right. I only noticed your actions because I am doing some intensive expansion of Poultry. I had already rephrased the bit you had added and moved it to a different position in the "Poultry farming" section where I thought it fitted better. I've now moved your latest contribution to the first paragraph of the section and removed the duplication. You can see just what alterations anyone has made by clicking on the "View history" tab at top right of the screen and then clicking "prev", to the left of whichever edit interests you. Olá. A Wikimedia Portugal é uma associação portuguesa sem fins lucrativos, fundada em 2009, reconhecida pela Wikimedia Foundation como "chapter" de Portugal. A nossa missão é, em geral, contribuir para a disseminação generalizada do saber e da cultura, através do incentivo à recolha e criação de conteúdos isentos de restrições de utilização, modificação e distribuição, e da difusão dos mesmos; e em particular, promover e apoiar os projetos da Wikimedia Foundation, entre os quais a Wikipédia, com ênfase para os projetos nas línguas faladas em Portugal, o português e o mirandês.

Gostaríamos de contar com o apoio de (e reciprocamente apoiar) todos os voluntários naturais, residentes ou simplesmente interessados em Portugal. Embora fundada em 2009, a associação teve um largo período de inatividade, que estamos agora a ultrapassar. Vimos por isso convidá-lo, caso nisso tenha interesse, a inscrever-se como associado da associação, demonstrar apoio à existência de um "chapter" em Portugal, e a envolver-se em atividades futuras inscrevendo-se na lista de distribuição de email. Hi! Wikimedia Portugal is the Portuguese chapter of Wikimedia, founded in 2009 and recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation. Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Palmela Palace (Cascais). I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! At this moment, please just note that the reference to Portela forts is not sharp: according the reading of the old plants, "Portela Pequeno" is the "Obra Militar nr. 41", and "Portela Grande" is the "nr. 42". Please refer your own quote "ROTEIRO Nº4 - A ROTA HISTÓRICA DAS LINHAS DE TORRES" (PDF). Museu Municipal Vila Franca de Xira. Also note that the portuguese fonts commit the same misundestand. Mission accomplished: the texts assigned as "Fortificação das Linhas de Torres Vedras" at fortalezas.org are now revised by me. Please note that, by now, I accept the map [c. 1810] information as correct, until I found another font from this period that deny it. On my experience, later fonts could just copy and paste misunderstoods until today. Additionally, comparision of the dimensions of both structures reforces my observation: the "Ajuda Grande" is the big one, and the "Ajuda Pequeno" is, as a matter of fact, the smaller one... Grape therapy

On my talk page, you said: "While I accept some of your criticisms of the Grape therapy article, which I have tried to address, I cannot agree with your comment when editing ("dubious article") that implies you do not think the article is valid as a Wikipedia article. Just because something is probably quackery does not mean it is not a valid article for Wikipedia. People who come across the term Grape Therapy have a right to use Wikipedia to find out what it is all about. You might just as well say that half the articles about popular music singers should be deleted because the singers are crap, which they probably are but that does not negate the validity of the article."

Thanks for raising the issue, one that is typically controversial on Wikipedia where facts have to be posed against misinformation and myths, as grape therapy would be defined. The main problem with the grape therapy article is the absence of reliable sources 1) to indicate it is in current common use (European spas, etc.) and 2) to give a reliable basis for why it was (or is) thought to have any benefit. The sources we have for the article are inadequate or absent to resolve these issues. I edited further today to give it more context.
