If you want to change anything or sorting up images, just do it. If the image is already uploaded under a different name, tell me, i will delete the image asap.
If you want to coordinate the image transfer, please contact me on my german user page, since where were severall hundreds image left.

I even enjoy contacting the families to get more information. That's how I got the middle name of Charles Albert Levine. Once you have it, its easy to confirm with a Google search, but coming up with it is very hard. Tracking down the family is not easy, but fun

Thanks for cleaning up the personal attack on my user talk page, and on the talk page of the biography article about me. I probably would have left those, if only because I shouldn't be the one to remove them... but they're certainly silly digresssions. I can't quite fathom why the editor put them there; I've gotten similar stuff before, both places, but always with editors I had editing conflicts with on other topics... this one has a short editing history, essentially falling entirely during the last few weeks when I've been far too busy to actively edit Wikipedia on any topic. I needed some help on the Dan Burton page. According to his congressional biography and Indiana Ballot his proper name is Danny Burton. I find no evidence that his name is Daniel. He was actually born Danny Lee Burton from all sources. I am pretty new on wikipedia. Am I editing the page wrong or am I not following the proper channels? Thanks for any help Harmon1630

Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.
What's New?
The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!
A discussion on how Esperanza relates to the encyclopedia has been started; please add your thoughts.

The cruising speed o the B-24J is listed as 215 mph. Rlboone191719:59, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Although this is true it is a reference to the true air speed rather than the airspeed indicator.
I realize that on another page the difference of altitude and outside temperature explains this, but it is my opinion that it should be made clear on the above page that this aircraft generally cruised at 150-160 mph by airspeed indicator. Not to do so is, I believe,is a method of “spinning” the facts.
Most people will not know the difference or be able to find it and will think that WOW, this aircraft was fast..
The B-24 may not have been as pretty, or as easy to fly as the B-17, but it was a fine plane for our Operation Carpetbagger
Again, the issue of the month is inline citations. A Day in the Life, A Hard Day's Night (song), and Get Back have all been defeatured, as they failed to satisfy criterion 1(c) of What is a featured article?, and other song FAs are due for the chopping block. Inline citations are an important aspect of articles—they ensure verifiability and reliability, and they remove original research. Additionally, they give readers the option to read the original source material and view it within context.
Basically:
All direct quotations attributed to Beatles members pooled from interviews need full inline citations.
All critical comments about songs or albums need full inline citations to notable music critics, magazines opinions, or reviews, as opposed to being merely comments by Wikipedians.
Inline citations need: author name, article name, publication date, and name of publication. Such info is still preferable even if quoting from an interview posted upon a website; when this is the case, place the URL link at the end of the citation with the date it was last accessed. (This will help editors retrieve the page using the Wayback Machine, should the link go dead in the future.)
Beatles News
The Beatles are due to release a soundtrack album, LOVE, at the end of November, as a companion to their Cirque du Soleiladaptation of the same name. It will feature remastered and remixed versions of their previously released songs, including some new medleys.
Paul's getting a divorce. Pain, arguing, and fighting abound.

Featured Article drive: A number of project members are collaborating on Paul McCartney's article, with the aim of getting it to Featured Article status. The work is going well and all help is welcome! Check in at Talk:Paul McCartney if you want to help.
The Wings tours are really nicely documented now (see Category:Wings tours), but Category:The Beatles tours is almost empty. Kingboyk and the rest of us would love to see (and read) articles on each Beatles tour, including the pre-fame tours of the UK—and the Hamburg trips, of course!
Our project members are too modest to report any awards they may have given or received.
From the Editors
Wherever possible, editors should help to trim down on list-like prose within Beatles articles. They should convert list-like sections into fluent, cohesive prose which ties an article's sections together. Lists make articles disjointed, awkward, and difficult to read.
Be sure to take part in the Featured Article drive, and don't forget those inline citations!

Maker's Mark
I made those edits because whisky/whiskey was used inconsistently throughout the article. I figured, given that "whiskey" is the more common American spelling, and we are dealing with an American liquor, whiskey would be more appropriate to switch the whiskys to whiskey. Wikipedia's standards are improving all the time, with the result that many articles in The Beatles Wikiproject are being nominated for review of their FA and GA status - and many are losing that accolade. It is difficult, with such a large number of articles and the ease with which editors may make changes which are detrimental, to maintain the standard of articles, let alone improve them. As ever, members efforts are both appreciated and needed to keep the Project on course.
Beatles News
A Beatles compilation called "Love", featuring tracks remastered by George Martin (with his son Giles), has been released and has made number 1 in Canada.
The impending divorce between Paul McCartney and the former Heather Mills continues to make the pages in the tabloid press in the UK.
Project News
New to the Project Log is the nomination of four articles for consideration as suitable for collaboration, in the manner in which Paul McCartney is now being edited, once the aforementioned article is completed. The nominations are George Harrison, Apple Corp, The Beatles(!!), all proposed by Kingboyk and John Lennon, proposed by LuciferMorgan. Interested editors should make themselves known on the various article talk pages.
If one is to be mercenary about the subject, it should be noted that Paul McCartney is going to be more noteworthy than usual in the near future as his divorce case comes to court. In that case it is great to note that a small group of Project Members (plus another individual who does not feel compelled to register himself despite important contributions) have worked very hard, and in an atmosphere of good humour, to take the McCartney piece to a succesful Good Article nomination. Perhaps this is the method to use for future articles, a small dedicated team concentrating on one subject at a time. Of course, all members are invited to join any existing group or even go about forming their own. Please note any such action in the Project Log.

Hi . I am having a doozy of a time entering theme music composer to the television infobox. I tried to add it on the syntax section of template:infobox television and my edit did not result in the addition of theme music composer. Any tips? Thanks. Dogru14414:25, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Enola Gay
Hi Rogerd! Oh please, please stop reverting the Enola Gay song entry. It isn't a supposed
hit single but a genuine one. Quoting from Wikipedia: "a single is usually considered to be a hit when it has reached the top forty position in Billboard Magazine’s Hot 100 or the UK Singles Chart". This OMD song reached number 8 in the UK Singles Chart. It's still receives some airtime and is popular in clubs throughout Europe. I know that the bomber is considerably more popular but at least let Wikipedia acknowledge the existence of the song. Thanks! Lathrop188512:32, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
I suppose that my edit summary should be more descriptive. However, if you review the article history and talk page, you will see that an indefinitely blocked user, User:Joehazelton, has been making the same edit as the one whch I reverted on an almost daily basis for months. He now uses an anonymized IP address to avoid the block. When the artiocle is soft-protected, he creates a user ID in order to make the same edits to the article. In my view, the editor that I reverted is clearly Joehazelton avoiding his block. — goetheanॐ15:38, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

hmm. I didn't consider that it had anything to do with the image vandalism. I think he started adding the information a little before the shock images (I started seeing them around 0115 EST). Anyway, it really doesn't seem important enough to have an argument about it. I understand your reasoning. I just figured I'd register my disagreement with using one of our strongest warnings. I have done a considerable amount of reasearch research on him, and it seems to me that all of that information is certainly verifiable. The World Book Encyclopedia states the same thing, and the article paraphrases it. Unless you can show any evidence against what is stated on the page, the edit will stand. Thanks! I have proctured my evidence, look up Durning, Charles in the World Book Encyclopedia and a full doctrine is availible. Hence, the edit stands, as the Encyclopedia is certainly a verifiable source. Also, consider using the {{subst:SpellCheck}} template. Kaspazestalk14:44, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Gerald Ford: Athletics
Nearly 90% of that section is devoted to Ford's history in football, both in high school and college, with some mention of boxing. If you summed the section up in one sentence, it would be Ford was especially gifted in sports, particullary football. That's why it is titles Athletics. College was too vague, and anyway it was titled Football by me before you changed it. So, Athletics is a compromise between the two.
Concerning your info on Yellowstone, it has no bearing in that section. How do you go from talking about Ford playing football to a tidbit on him at Yellowstone? That's more of a "did you know" bit of info, which isn't encyclopedic. If there was a section of Ford's outside interests, other than sports, it might fit. But remember, this article already gained "featured status". So any additional sections would more than likely be unneccessary. Veracious Reytalk↔contribs21:09, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I didn't mean to imply you can't add ever add a new section to a FA article. But the yellowstone info didn't fit where it was, and I didn't see anyother area for a good placement. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic about the freemasonry section, but I'll take a look at it and see how it reads.

Contrary to what you may think, the photograph provided by the United States Air Force is a better and higher quality photograph than the one that you took yourself. I won't stop you from trying to add it back but please consider that your camera and photograph is inferior to the one provided by the USAF. --Signaleer18:13, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Rogerd, I sent you several emails. I can't say which image is better for the B-36 article, but maybe it is a waste of time to edit war over it with him. Maybe post both images on the talk page, do a side by side and have folks "vote" on it. The question of capitalising of the letter "t" in The of The Beatles has been raised again. It appears that UK style references (here and here) also maintains that the letter should be in lower case. If the Project is to be appear professional then it may have to change the format. Polite discussion is invited at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject The Beatles/Policy. If possible, please provide sources/references to support your position.

Cleanup: US Junior Chamber
Thank you for the detailed work you did on this article; I had worried about it turning into an ad and a copylift from the National website. When I stumbled on the article, it contained very little. At that, I initiated the presence of the Creed, and started the Honors listing (using intentional brevity, so that someone else could expound as appropriate). I still wonder if a list of presidents should better be in a separate article. The icing on the cake for me personally is that three days ago my Region presented me with a Senatorship, so it does have me a bit more interested in what belongs there (and my Jaycee career started too recently to appreciate the admission of women, for example). On top of that, I'm interested in doing a userbox for Jaycees, Jaycee Graduates (Roosters), and Senators, but the first thing is to do it within copyrights. For what it's worth, the article about the JCI Senate has gone through a similar re-working by what may be the most appropriate person: the US JCI Senate webmaster. Roger Penske did in fact drove formula 1 car in US grand prix in 1961 and 1962. Even in the article is writen ´Interestingly enough, although Penske competed in two Formula One Grand Prix, and won a NASCAR Pacific Coast Late Model race at Riverside in 1963, he never ran the Indy 500.´ You can also look in Formula one drivers list article. And if you don't believe this, then look on these websites.
