Hi. In May 2015, you found that the result of an AfD for Johannes Eggestein was delete. An article on him would now pass notability guidelines having made professional debuts in 3. Liga and DFB-Pokal. I would like to request the un-deletion of the page. Regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 13:33, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
Wanting to have the List of Stanley Cup Finals broadcasters article deletedI've noticed that you helped spear-headed the campaign to have that particular article deleted from Wikipedia. It isn't fair that the National Hockey League's premiere championship event doesn't have its own individual article for its broadcasters while other sports do. That article took a really long time to set up and put together to just let it go by the waste-side. And just because they aren't fully sourced on the proper article itself, doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't non the less, more thoroughly sourced on the respective articles for said television networks. Extended confirmed protectionHello, Rlendog. This message is intended to notify administrators of important changes to the protection policy. Extended confirmed protection (also known as "30/500 protection") is a new level of page protection that only allows edits from accounts at least 30 days old and with 500 edits. The automatically assigned "extended confirmed" user right was created for this purpose. The protection level was created following this community discussion with the primary intention of enforcing various arbitration remedies that prohibited editors under the "30 days/500 edits" threshold to edit certain topic areas. In July and August 2016, a request for comment established consensus for community use of the new protection level. Administrators are authorized to apply extended confirmed protection to combat any form of disruption (e.g. vandalism, sock puppetry, edit warring, etc.) on any topic, subject to the following conditions:
Please review the protection policy carefully before using this new level of protection on pages. Thank you. File:Shes Got a Way 1972 single cover.jpg listed for discussionA file that you uploaded or altered, File:Shes Got a Way 1972 single cover.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Tangled Up in Blue Cover.jpgThank you for uploading File:Tangled Up in Blue Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale. If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:37, 20 October 2016 (UTC) Latin American 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:50, 27 October 2016 (UTC) Hatnotes aren't required if article title is unambiguousHi there, Please read the sub-article "Disambiguating article names that are not ambiguous" for why Sheer Heart Attack (song) doesn't need a hatnote. The article title makes clear that it's about the song, not the album, so no-one is likely to arrive there directly if they're looking for the album. OTOH, the hatnote at Sheer Heart Attack is useful, since that article doesn't include "album" in the title. As I said, please read the linked article for full details, thanks! In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right. It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best. If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. However, the information that used to be in that article now forms a section of the following article: Presiding_Officer_of_the_United_States_Senate. Just go to the article and click on "show" to reveal the information. Help with article?Hi there, I noticed you're a member of the Wikipedia Finance and Investment project. I've written a new article and I wonder if you'd be willing to help out by reviewing it - Draft: Fifth Wall Ventures and making it live if you think it's ready? It's about a VC-firm focused on real estate. Although I am an experienced Wikipedia editor and always try my best to abide by the five pillars, in this case I have a conflict of interest, so Wikipedia policy requires that all my work be reviewed by an independent editor before it's published. (Moved from "Draft" to "Wikipedia" under the "More" tab in the nav.) I'd be glad to do any additional work you think the article requires. Thanks for considering this! There was a consensus at that time and everything was done right. At that time I had no much idea about how Wikipedia worked. The reason to delete the article it was because the subject in question, a footballer, had not played any pro match in his career, since the Bosnian League was not, at that time, considered fully pro. Alright, since 2016, the league is considered fully pro. The footballer has played in the league in the 2016/2017 season and therefore his is notable enough for an article. Well, I was thinking if it is possible to "revert" the deletion and restore the article. I don't even know if it is possible, but would be easier than I recreate the article. But if it is not possible I will recreate. Regards.--SirEdimon (talk) 02:50, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

I had selected the "justify paragraphs" option in every wiki that I visit, I am used to save everyday the main page of wikipedia in a dozen of languages and pages from the projects that I am interested to... the option no longer works, it also seems that it has been removed from "preferences". Plenty to keep your active mind engaged and entertained. Come check us out. — The Transhumanist 03:49, 16 May 2018 (UTC) Thank you very muchThe RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up. By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject. I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity. Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them. If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience. Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision.
Thank you. "Wasn't Born to Follow" article & a requestHey Rlendog, well done for creating and doing such a good job on the "Wasn't Born to Follow" article. It's high time that this song had its own article, so it's nice to see you tackle it. On another Byrds-related matter, there's a discussion about the lead of The Byrds article on that page's talk page that you might want to weigh in on. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:58, 18 April 2018 (UTC) Deletion ReviewHi, there. You deleted a page I created back in 2012 (I know it has been a long time).

I assume that the media wiki package has been updated? or is it a new bug?--Brain (talk) 23:11, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
