Hello. Your rewrite is much better. I couldn't figure out what you were talking about the first time.
In your second version is this: "Critics of the notion of the confluence of corporate power and de facto fascism included President Dwight D. Eisenhower". I am not sure what that means. Please quote from the reference you used for that:
Ira Chernus, "Eisenhower's Ideology in World War II," Armed Forces & Society (1997) 23(4): 595-613
Links are fine, indeed encouraged. But citations should always be to external works. I recommend looking at WP:RS to have an idea what sort of material should and should not be cited. - BiruitorulTalk00:41, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A tag has been placed on D'Étampes de Valençay, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
it should be moved to the french wikipedia
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
I wouldn't call this edit vandalism. He was doing what I wanted him to do, which would make it acceptable on Wikipedia. The edit did not just get rid of the speedy, but fixed the article correctly. He may not have handled it properly. but he is new. Thanks! Ŵïllî§ï$2? (Talk!/Sign) 02:56, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:29, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
