User talk:PrincessofLlyr/2010/January
Hi. I think you were rather hasty to tag this article as empty the same minute it was created. I know new users ought to realise that they should flesh their article out before they press "Save page", but many of them don't, and are discouraged if a speedy notice appears as soon as they put in their first try. We get quite a bit of flak for presenting an unfriendly interface to newcomers. With something like this, better to give it say 10 minutes and see if it is going somewhere before tagging it. Keep up the good work though - New Page Patrol needs all they eyes it can get, and most of your tags I have seen have been fine. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:43, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, PrincessofLlyr! I'd like to invite you to join the WikiProject Warriors. We work on improving Warriors articles and would appreciate your help. Cheers! Brambleclawx 00:07, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Doesn't matter what you do, as long as its constructive, I am going to feel so happy. ;) Now... one more person and we're in the double digits of active users... hm... =) Brambleclawx 02:09, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I'll try, but I'm pretty busy this week. I'll take a look though! Speedy deletion contested: Neild AvenueHello PrincessofLlyr, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Neild Avenue, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to houses. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Timotheus Canens (talk) 04:03, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Warriors: ReplyTo reply to your comment on my page, according to the MoS, fiction should always be in present tense, with relatively few exceptions. I'll go find and fix that example you foundl, but I'm pretty sure I went through the tense for most of the article, but yeah, when I was looking at that sentence, I had a hard time thinking of which words I was supposed to use. Thanks. Brambleclawx 22:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Oh alright I'll remember, that for later. Brambleclawx 22:24, 7 January 2010 (UTC) You undid someone's revision on the Warriors page where they said Warriors was superior to Twilight... I laughed so hard when I saw that. Must be the first time someone's said that out loud! XD Brambleclawx 20:05, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I agreed too. XD Brambleclawx 17:37, 10 January 2010 (UTC) Article classI think I'm not the only one who's having doubts about this, but do you think Erin Hunter should be counted as a disambiguation article? It doesn;t look like one to me, but at the same time, its impractical to call it an article on its own. Brambleclawx 00:26, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
At Talk:Erin Hunter, the WikiProject Warriors banner lists it as a disambiguation class article. But I'm not sure if it can be counted as a disambig. Brambleclawx 23:36, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Actually, we have rated it, but for us, disambig just shows up as N/A. But yeah, I'll change it, since it looks appropriate. Brambleclawx 01:43, 13 January 2010 (UTC) A user has created this page. I know we're all busy, but it'd be useful if we could all chip in a bit, since it looks quite deletable right now. Brambleclawx 21:54, 14 January 2010 (UTC) GAOf course! As a reviewer, you are also quite integral to the GA's success. I would suggest that when you give a review, you also give a copyedit and report the mistakes in terms of content or understanding. It goes with WP:BOLD. bibliomaniac15 03:58, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
SandboxI was instructed there to tell you... about this :D. It was really minor, hope you don't mind. Airplaneman talk 07:49, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Articles about schools are specifically exempt from CSD A7Greetings! I noticed that you placed a CSD A7 tag on the page Kanaka creek elm, which is an article about a school. I just wanted to inform you that per WP:CSD#A7, articles about schools are exempt from CSD A7. However, rather than declining speedy deletion altogether, I have re-tagged the page under CSD A1 because it appears to lack sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Cheers! --SoCalSuperEagle (talk) 20:41, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of 15 Minutes (novel)An editor has nominated 15 Minutes (novel), an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/15 Minutes (novel) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:23, 23 January 2010 (UTC) |
