Error

You have made a mistake. [1] I have read the entire discussion and there is no requirement to wait any definite amount of time. Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy. If one little dot on the map is in error, so fix it. Don't damage the usefulness of a super high traffic article by letting perfect be the enemy of good. Different sources make different calls, but in sum and total the results of them are all consistent. Local consensus cannot override core Wikipedia policies and procedures. I have a problem and I am taking it to you right here because that talk page is extremely bloated with different conversations and what you are telling me is the equivalent of "go pound sand down a rathole, jehochman, because nobody will see your comments there." You plus one other user decided to make a rule that doesn't exist. I do not subscribe to your rule. There is a consensus to post the data and the map so long as things are stable. The situation has not changed today at all and is not likely to change for a while longer. There is no harm in posting the counts and the map. There is no rush to add the map and projected electoral votes to the infobox per WP:NOTNEWS. Before consensus shifted to updating the map now, many users at the RfC concurred with the proposal to wait until every state and district has been unanimously called before adding it to the infobox. It does not hurt to wait a little bit longer just in case they want to weigh in. Prcc27 (talk) 06:26, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
