Thank you for supporting the NPP initiative to improve WMF support of the Page Curation tools. Another way you can help is by voting in the Board of Trustees election. The next Board composition might be giving attention to software development. The election closes on 6 September at 23:59 UTC. View candidate statement videos and Vote Here. Hi PigeonChickenFish, thank you for your work on the draft. Where did you find the sources? I did do a search but did not come up with much so either my search was subpar (which could be) or you checked somewhere I did not. Just trying to get better so any tips/tricks are appreciated. @S0091: hello! I think this was difficult to search for because of the three different names used. I started with "South Kentucky College" (then later would try the other names) and I initially looked at google search, google news, google books, and newspapers.com - making sure to use the term I was searching was in quotation marks. I hope that helps! PigeonChickenFish (talk) 19:37, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
Thanks PigeonChickenFish. I only did the searches through the Wikipedia Library which did not include newspapers.com and did not do the googles because I assumed FloridaArmy already covered those and didn't want to duplicate efforts (not saying FA did not do it, but simply the reason I skipped those). FA did a great job getting the draft off the ground and you did a great job expanding it. I just felt bad about my initial decline. Thanks again. S0091 (talk) 19:55, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
@S0091: no worries! I don’t think the draft was not initially ready for the mainspace either, it needed more development. Wikipedia Library is a great resource to use but I have found the search function doesn’t work well. Also newspapers.com you can access through WPL. PigeonChickenFish (talk) 21:21, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
Unless something has changed, newspapers requires a separate login and my access expired so I just used the "normal" stuff and yes, I agree the search functions across the various resources is "tricky" but so glad to have it and I am sure you are as well.
If you are not familiar with FA's work, their drafts are generally not well-developed. With that said, the work they do is meaningful because they cover underrepresented subjects. FA probably pumps out at least ten drafts a week, if not more (they have about 75 waiting for review). I saw your note on their talk page offering assistance and I can say without a doubt, they need it. S0091 (talk) 21:42, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
