Caldwell, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of " Text removalHi Pete, I see that you're new here, so I wanted to make sure you understood why the majority of the text was removed from the article. Basically, we can't use text copied whole from a source, especially if it's copywrited. All sentences need to be rewritten in your own words as a paraphrase or summary. It's just like doing a high school or college paper in that sense. Also, you need to add more sources, such as from newspapers or magazines. They don't have to be available online, but they do need to be reliable published sources. Wikipedia has a lot of rules and guidelines, and it takes a while to get up to speed. Fortunately, most Wikipedians are willing to help out in any way they can. I hope you find contributing to Wikipedia to be a rewarding experience. - BilCat (talk) 20:39, 27 April 2020 (UTC) @BilCat Notedwill respond on talk page.User:Peteschulz210 (talk) 14:00, 28 April 2020 (UTC) Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Caterpillar Club into Edward L. Hoffman. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., Disambiguation link notification for May 12Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited James Floyd Smith, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ripcord (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) After reviewing it, I wanted to give a quick bit of advice about citing articles from Newspapers.com. I noticed that your citations included the Newspapers.com URL and the title of the article, but not the name of the newspaper or the date of publication. To aid with verifiability, please include this information so that readers can still track down the source if the URL goes bad. Here's an example of a citation I changed:[1][2] As a sidenote, please avoid using Find a Grave as a source. This is typically not considered a reliable source, as explained at WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 00:17, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
