It's been a bit more than a month since this LA lady successfully retained GA, and was looking to know how much progress her article has made since you passed the review. I still can't thank you enough for that and all your input. I'm planning to take to FAC later this month so it can be "Today's Featured Article" on her 30th birthday this upcoming October 25th. She's not ready just yet and is under peer review for polishing (feel free to comment here before July 11th). You are also welcome to leave input during its FAC.
@SNUGGUMS: I very much enjoyed working with you and am truly proud of the work you've continued to do in bettering the article. I will keeep an eye open and I'm glad I was able to help. All the best and good luck buddy :)--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me19:47, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
I did too :D. Will let you know when FAC starts up. If your wife wasn't already FA, I'd get her up with you. We can always make her page stronger, though. More than happy to return the favor with her works when nominated for FA/GA. You've got yourself lots of GA's, but any FA's yet? SNUGGUMS (talk·contribs)19:59, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
@SNUGGUMS: Hey hey! Leave my wife alone, she's taking care of dem' babies lol :) Hm, thing is I haven't done a GA-related project in over 2-3 years, and don't think I will again :S I'm keeping it at reverting vandalism and helping out the community. Also, I try to steer clear of her page now. It definitely is more dificult for me to be impartial when it comes to the mother of my children, so I keep it under control. Her page definitely needs work though. I would hate to see it lose its star :/ As for the FAs. Back when we were more active, the FAC criteria was far more demanding (many more seasoned reviewers, other delegates). Now, you have Rihanna editors who get subpar work etc to FA solely on consensus from younger music article contributors. Back in the day, even TEOM was torn to shreds on several occasions lol. My writing and neutrality is worlds better now, but I'm kind of retired. I'd love to help on further projects and maybe if you hop on board a Mimi article it would help rev my motor :) PS. Really wish she'd start doing some fucking promo. It's ridiculous already. At least give "YDKWTD" a strong shot :/--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me01:11, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
Thought Mimi herself already revs your motor :P. Anyway, I'll see what I can do to improve them. As for Riri FA's, "S&M" was slaughtered for over 2 years at FAC before successfully reaching FA last August (and I see you participated in at least one of its unsuccessful FAC's and failed its first GAN). Calvin quite clearly put his blood, sweat, and tears into that article, and I'm certain dedicated more time to that more than any other Rihanna article. Mimi has survived 2 FAR's, and I don't quite think she's in danger of going through a 3rd one. It must be granted though that when she was promoted to FA, the criteria was much less demanding than it is now. If any one thing is keeping it from being the best possible, it would be the mixture of sources for her birth year. I figured lambs such as yourself would know for certain whether in fact it is 1969 or 1970. Talk page decided to list sources for both, though. Sorry that TEOM also got slammed so hard at FAC. For GAN's, I see that this has been sitting on the back burner for a while. Not sure if you'll continue with it or if it should just be closed as unsuccessful. SNUGGUMS (talk·contribs)02:56, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
@SNUGGUMS: Oh no, I'm not referring to Calvin. He does great work. Referring to others ;) I always thought it was 1970, and I've never really seen any indication that it was 1969. On the other hand, I can see Mimi changing it a year Lol. Since we go by sources, and there is for both, I guess we gotta leave them. It's all going back to "People got a picture of her ID"... So I don't know how reliable that it but alas. As for "Work", I posted on the GA talk page that I was backing out a while ago. I'm going to fail it though (which is what I suggested). I trimmed a ridiculous amount from it but I think it would be most appropriate to be reviewed by a fresh set of eyes.--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me03:02, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
I've never actually seen this picture of her ID. The majority of RS's I've seen support 1970. Guess the only way to know for sure is consulting her birth certificate. It is a shame to see articles promoted to FA/GA prematurely. I plan on looking into FAR's for some articles in the future (but not before Ms. Hudson gets her star- my current priority is to make sure she gets that for this upcoming October). SNUGGUMS (talk·contribs)03:13, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
@SNUGGUMS: Yup. I honestly don't think we'll be able to fix that issue any time soon. Doesn't bother me though. It is what it is. Jennifer Hudson? Never cared for her much. If you need any help reviewing or c/e/triming any articles I would be happy to assist :) PS. Take a look at Tomica's FAC noms and you'll see my point ;) Take a look at this video :)--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me04:41, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
No, not Jennifer Hudson, Katheryn (Katy) Hudson. Tomica faced quite the opposition at the first FAC for Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" and some Rihanna articles. Thank you also for the offer on article assistance, I'll definitely hit you up :). SNUGGUMS (talk·contribs)13:03, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

Why haven't you updated beyonce's net worth?! She has surpassed the $350 mark. She earned $115 between June 2013 & June 2014, according to Forbes, her net worth should be around $465 by now! Just thought you should know! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.126.141.155 (talk) 21:24, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

Trouble
Hi Peter,
How are you? I'm going to try to keep it short, and just say... I respect your work a lot and I think your writing is brilliant, and the amount of hard work and dedication you put—especially in Mariah's aticles—is amazing. You've probably never even heard of Natalia Kills, but I have been working on the article for her sophomore studio album Trouble since September 2013. I'm not exactly a fan, but I do like the album and I wanted to improve its Wiki page. Although it's been hard to find sources, as this didn't get any commercial success per se, I sincerely worked my ass off and I think I've developed a well-structured and comprehensive article. I think that its prose may hold it back, though, because English isn't my native language. Could you take a look at the sandbox where I'm finishing the final version of the article, which I will take to FAC on 25/26 July (here) and give it a short review on prose and anything else that you find relevant? I would be honored to have your opinion regarding the article. If you can't/don't want to, it's OK. Thank you for reading! pedro | talk11:28, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
@Prism: You are too kind Pedro. It's easier to spot the flaws in someone else's work than to procure your own standout prose :) I have not heard of her, but I have no problem in doing what I can to help. I don't think I would be commenting on the FAC (I try not to weigh in on FACs of editors I'm familiar-ish with) however, I could definitely try and prune the prose and assist where possible. As a point of recommendation, maybe wait a bit more time before submitting it to FAC? I need to finish my review of Beyonce, but once that's done I can have a look. I'll do a similar review for the article on the sandbox talkpage? Hope I can be of some help. Cheers.--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me11:41, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
What a quick response; thank you! That's OK, Peter (also the Portuguese equivalent to Pedro, haha), I was thinking either in the sandbox talkpage or my own talkpage, but it's fine either way. I actually have to nominate it max. on 31 July, because I'll be travelling in September and school also starts that month. pedro | talk11:52, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Lol you caught me at the right moment ;) Okay mate, it's your call. Just know it's a long and tedious process that shouldn't be rushed into.--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me11:58, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Regarding your "I'll post the second half within the next day or so. No worries, I won't disappear" statement..... I'm hoping you haven't disappeared or that internet access isn't an issue at the moment- it's been a few days since you left that comment or edited at all. SNUGGUMS (talk·contribs)01:15, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi Nathan! You probably haven't started the review for my sandbox, but as I'm still working on the article, could you wait a few days? I took your advice about not rushing into the FAC process. Thank you! pedro | talk23:06, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey ! Hi !
Hey ! How are you ? It's been a very long time... :O
I decreased my contributions on WP for two years. I also began to attend at university. I still have Jackson's scans but I put these articles on stand by. :( Just see that some of them have been promote to GA like Together Again. However, I want to make my own work so I won't translate the articles to French WP, just take the sources.
Moreover, I need a Native English-speaker to review this. I think that some sentences are clumsy.
@Pixelyoshi: Hi Yoshi! Long time :) Yup, I'm pretty inactive. Just around to help out the younger generation of Wikipedians lol. Sure, I'm finishing off with a extensive GA review but I'll try and take a look afterwards. Cheers buddy.--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me02:52, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Jennifer Lopez
It's not 2012 anymore, your sources are outdated. You need to stop trying to change it when all current sources say 80 million albums. Mussobrennon (talk) 00:26, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Wahey! Thank you for the close prose review and the time you spent looking through everything—this has been been hugely beneficial. Thanks! —JennKR | ☎15:09, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Peter, can you help me in polishing the lead of these two FLs? They are IMO too long and snake-like. I know, with two decades of career there are much to write about her, but we need to make it much more professional. Please let me know your thoughts. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ]05:41, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
@IndianBio: I think you did a great job :) I'll make some further grammar tweaks etc when you're all done. Best for a third-party guy to make those lead trims. Cheers.--PeterGriffin • Talk2Me07:15, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
