Small friendly reminderHey! I saw you posting that events have made it harder to work on Wikipedia this month. Just wanted to remind you to keep yourself as top priority, but that your work here is super appreciated and making the world better by making information accessible. Sending a warm hug from Netherlands A. C. Santacruz ⁂ Talk 23:17, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Hello, againRemembering a conversation we had some time back about Homecoming...well, it's upon us, and I'm in Williamsburg as of last night. Let me know if you're going to be able to make it - I'd welcome the opportunity of a hat tip, at least. (The hat being tipped is my battered old W&M cap from the Campus Store, naturally.) --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 15:45, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
FYI, I'm at Aroma's right now. ----~~ Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 13:27, 7 October 2021 (UTC) @Ser Amantio di Nicolao: Due to the wonderful bastards over at Apple, my phone auto snoozed me. I woke up at exactly 10:30 this morning cursing as soon as I saw the time. I apologize for sticking you up but wish to tell you in the most sincere way it was not intended. I am very upset with this. I hope you have a good rest of your day. If you have time at all later this weekend for me to attempt to make it up to you I would dearly like to try. ~ Pbritti (talk) 14:41, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. I don’t think it’s a good source for calling them far right when it’s a political opinion piece, I think a book or maybe a political evaluator site would be better. Thanks Solidarityandfreedom (talk) 22:16, 15 November 2021 (UTC) Maroun/MaronitesHello, The appropriate spelling for the monastic founder of the Maronite Church is Maroun not Maron. The latter spelling is only employed in the United States. Furthermore, the standard spelling for individuals who bear his name as their Christian or family name e.g. the poet Maroun Abboud or the film director Maroun Bagdadi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LebaneseMaronite (talk • contribs) 06:55, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
I will keep changing the spelling to Maroun. Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by LebaneseMaronite (talk • contribs) 07:14, 21 November 2021 (UTC) Just saying hiHey, just another Catholic coin collecting consistent life ethic person, though I prefer coffee to earl grey lol XP6287 (talk) 17:31, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
Engaging in American-Centric RacismSelf-stated edit warringYour recent editing history at Maronite Church shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
ArbCom 2021 Elections voter messageAppreciate your willingness to at least consider a restart/rewrite of MKuCR articleIn regards to this, that is exactly what I propose — I simply think that the way to accomplish this is through deletion, as has been years that we have proposed to do a rewrite/restructuring but received no support or help from the other side. Once the article is rewrittren, and we agree there no longer are significant issues, it would be recreated — most of it is already taken from other articles, so nothing would be lost from the current version through deletion/rewrite. We do not necessarily disagree that the article is notable,1 but we think that the currently structured article is so problematic that it cannot simply be fixed without drastic solutions like deletion/rewrite/restructuing.
1. If you are not aware of it, Siebert has also proposed this topic, which I think is really the notable topic we should discuss. Again, thank you for at least considering a rewrite as a possibility — it is good to see users like you who do not strawman us. Davide King (talk) 01:19, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
There is a sandbox available for that very purpose at Talk:Mass_killings_under_communist_regimes/sandbox, so no NPOV violation issues if it is used. Feel free to blow away the current content, it is a really old version of the article, Cheers, --Nug (talk) 10:29, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Delphinium1 (talk) 14:07, 13 December 2021 (UTC) DYK for Global Methodist ChurchOn 14 December 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Global Methodist Church, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Global Methodist Church is part of a proposed divorce over marriage? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Global Methodist Church. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Global Methodist Church), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
