Woodson School Photo.jpgThanks for uploading File:Carter G. Woodson School Photo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information. To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Speedy deletion nomination of Carter G. Woodson Middle SchoolA tag has been placed on Carter G. Woodson Middle School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Johnny Partin.jpgA tag has been placed on File:Johnny Partin.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://hopewellva.gov/directory.aspx?eid=65 and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here. October 2024Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Carter G. Woodson High School. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Help Save The Next Girl Foundation, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

A tag has been placed on Draft:Help Save The Next Girl Foundation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://helpsavethenextgirl.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Wikipedia and copyrightHello Paytonisboss! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 17:41, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interestHello, Paytonisboss. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 18:29, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
This page at the org's site lists dozens of reliable sources which discuss the subject at length. They aren't particularly new but they are diverse in origin so that's a good sign. I might help you assemble a neutral draft if you'd like to look through them and pick the best three or four using WP:RS as your guideline. You're looking for pages by news sources independent of the subject which directly detail the organization, not interviews or press releases. BusterD (talk) 17:36, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
Nominating an article for deletion using WP:AFDI see you tried to nominate Richmond Public Schools for deletion using WP:AFD. You did not correctly do it. You need to follow the directions at WP:AFDHOWTO. There are three steps and you need to complete all three of them to nominate it. If you don't nothing will happen. ~ GB fan 17:04, 28 October 2024 (UTC) If on the other hand you've changed your mind, we can help you back out. You seem to misunderstand the reason for the deletion process, and this process (tagging an existing article about a notable subject) looks retaliatory. Not a good look for a new editor. Non-free rationale for File:PGCPSlogo.pngThanks for uploading or contributing to File:PGCPSlogo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 20:49, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
GA reviewingAs I mentioned at Talk:Atlanta Braves/GA1, you can withdraw your review and we can put this nomination back into the queue. If you choose to continue, and if you still fail to show that you are capable of reviewing a nomination, we may have to look at sanctions. All the instructions you need are at the clearly marked page; if you fail to follow them that is on you. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 23:43, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

I belatedly got notice about your criticism of the Richmond Public Schools article, and am writing to encourage you to continue your editing despite the somewhat harsh criticism of your suggestion. I noticed that you're now studying in Richmond, as well as women's contributions, and might even be a native Virginian (unlike me!). At the risk of overstepping myself, maybe you could add material to the deservedly criticized RPS article using U Richmond resources, or create another new article. You're about a hundred miles closer than me, whose contribution to that article years ago was linking to my new article about Eleanor Sheppard, who started as a civic activist and became the first woman elected to Richmond's city council and then its first female mayor. More recently, I put up an article about the recently deceased legislator Panny Rhodes, who may have begun her civic activism with Richmond schools, but was more noteworthy for contributions to the community college and VCU. A long time ago, I cleaned up the article about Luther Porter Jackson, whom Carter Woodson mentored (and a non-copyright-protected photo of whom I could not find). Today I confirmed today that no one has yet put up a new article about his wife, Johnella Frazer, who was a music professor at Virginia State and probably qualifies for an article in her own right.....Jweaver28 (talk) 23:09, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
