Hi Pahunkat, As you have prescribed in the syllabus of mine to attach diffs of good faith and vandalism edits. I don't know how to attach a diff. Could you please tell me. I have visited help:diff, but I didn't understood. If you will help me, that will be the most kind act of yours towards me. Thank you! Happy editing! Kamilalibhat (talk) 13:04, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Kamilalibhat, just looking through your recent RW reverts: [1] - we know about now, note user pages are different from articles so the edit was fine, [2] was a good revert (we'll learn more about warning users later), I can't see what happened at RMIT University Student Union, and it looks like content disputes for [3] and [4]. Have you started abuselog or recent changes patrolling? Pahunkat (talk) 14:52, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks JJPMaster, I'll certainly keep that in mind. I'll probably request it after I do more at EF/FP (because I've only started helping out there), or if I become a SPI clerk. Right now, I'll do as much as I can :-) Pahunkat (talk) 19:46, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
JJPMaster That's actually a good question, and the answer is I don't really know. When I first joined Wikipedia I did it to try to add some random (and now I realise clearly non-notable) page to the wiki, back in 2019. Then I left for a bit, the draft got declines. Back then I didn't expect to be here for long, so picked some random name I remembered off the internet - there's a reason I state on my userpage that I am not connected to anyone with the same name off-wiki. A few months ago, I returned and started actually being a positive contributor here, but the username seems to have stuck - and I'm hopelessly indecisive when it comes to choosing a username, so it may well be I'll keep to this one. I haven't actually thought about how to properly pronounce it until you've brought it up now. How do you pronounce it? Pahunkat (talk) 19:15, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Hey - I just ended up on your userpage, and saw that you had created St Mary's Church, Welwyn - nice job, I may try to expand it at some point. I used to live in Welwyn, many years ago now, and used to love hearing the bell ringing practice on a Tuesday evening coming from the church. :) GirthSummit (blether)15:02, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Girth Summit, thanks for dropping by! That's nice to hear that you used to live in Welwyn - the church is still there, good as ever. There's material for expansion on the church's website, though you might have a hard time finding other sources online. If I recall correctly, there seems to be a few written sources/ebooks though. Best wishes :-) Pahunkat (talk) 20:02, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Girth Summit, Pevsner definitely has a bit about the church, the historicengland and britishlistedbuildings sources all use a description taken from the book. Coming back to the article after a while I can't see where I got source 4 from, but after a quick search I have found [5] which has a small extract in this website here and more on the same website here. these records could have something but it would take quite a long time to extract something useful. Pahunkat (talk) 09:52, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Caius G, this user has been trolling me for a bit - their statement directed against me was the final proof, you might be able to see stuff in User talk:Pahunkat/CVUA/Ahmetlii if there are some not revdelled (and others used also line up). I didn't expect to encounter them there to be honest. Pahunkat (talk) 17:44, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello Pahunkat, I want to say that I have completed and attached my tasks at my CVUA page. Now, I'm waiting for your review and the next task. Thank you! - Kamil Ali Bhat (talk) 10:57, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello Pahunkat, I see you didn't respond to me. Is there anything wrong with me. Three days have passed since I pinged you at my CVUA page. But you didn't respond. I hope everything is fine. - Kamil Ali Bhat (talk) 11:27, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello Pahunkat, just saw your comment at the SPI I filed yesterday, and I must admit totally makes sense. Initially I thought they could be the same since the other account was created immediately afterwards. But probably its meat. Thanks for the comments. :) Also, why are users randomly adding names to place articles? Is this some sort of a viral trend? --Ashleyyoursmile!18:31, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello! I am a user of Wikipedia, and do edits from time to time. My IP address changes constantly, sometimes to a vandilisers IP/the vandiliser changes to my IP. I see that this IP has vandilized this wiki before. This IP may have also vandilized Fandom, because I some times get IP blocked. Is there any other way to prevent the vandiliser to access this IP?
Thanks!
205.196.190.22 (talk) 16:38, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello IP, I'm afraid that IPs are dynamic and ISPs regularly change your IP. You can see the edit that the person attempted here. However, I'd suggest creating an account - you don't need anything apart from a username and password, and that way you won't get any notifications for vandalism you didn't do and will be able to get advanced permissions as time goes on :-) Pahunkat (talk) 09:18, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Replying to your feedback
Hello, thank you for the guidance but i am not being compensated in any way whatsoever. Being new to Wikipedia i did these edits thinking that they would be approved if only i was seen as an official entity. This is a learning experience for me and i really appreciate you helping me out. But i am not being paid but just trying to help out an athlete i admire with a solid profile. By the way the page required more citations but i have gathered as many sources as i could have to remove it from being an orphan. What should i do now? but im still searching. Thank you AhmadKhan518 (talk) 08:20, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia Chuck Mincho! I think you might have got me mixed up with an IP that was vandalizing the page - they were adding unreferenced libelous content against the subject of the article in violation of WP:BLP. The IP's contributions have been revision deleted now by an admin. I hope that makes sense :-) Pahunkat (talk) 21:35, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Yeah I'm not sure. Have a look at the history. You see Drmies added a PP tag (page protection). The last version edit before him was you and what you did, along with a whole line prior, is not visible. I can't imagine you editing the article in a way so bad that the public aren't allowed to look at it... Chuck Mincho (talk) 21:44, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Chuck Mincho, I'm a recent changes patroller so I came across their diffs. Drmies semi-protected the article, which means that IPs and non-autoconfirmed users cannot edit it (this includes you as of now since you only have 9 edits), whereas users with >10 edits and an account over 4 days old can. From what I can see it's the IP's contribs that have been revision deleted as opposed to mine. I see you're new here - are you planning to edit the Ted Turner article, or also do counter-vandalism work? Pahunkat (talk) 21:49, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for what you explained although I'm still struggling to work out why I cannot see YOUR revision. Obviously yeah, the vandalised version before you possibly should be closed off to the public but I don't know why your contributions cannot be seen. To answer your question, I am interested in US political affairs and in particular I have some sourced information that needs to go onto the Ted Turner article among others. Chuck Mincho (talk) 22:00, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Chuck Mincho, I'm not sure why you can't see them - I can see them over here and here being two random diffs I checked. Maybe it looks like that because of the closeness between revision deleted and non-revdel'd revisions? As for the article, you should be autoconfirmed soon and will be able to edit the article - you're up to 10 edits. Pahunkat (talk) 22:03, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Oh I see they are crossed out. That's why I can't see anything. Out of interest, what did they actually say before they were crossed out? Do you still recall? Chuck Mincho (talk) 22:37, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello Pahunkat, I hope you are fine. I'm Kamilalibhat and this is my old sleeping account. I revived this today.
After reading this, you will be knowing that I got two accounts. Now, I'm here in the view of seeking information about merging of accounts. Is it possible to merge two accounts? –KamilAleeBhat (talk) 11:52, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for taking a look, Jonah Mazanek has been locked by GW and JEAPI's 24 hrs for edit warring. Seems like they are two different people who know each other. --Ashleyyoursmile!04:14, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
Keep It Real Online (draft)
Hi. I didn't see your comment re: sockpuppeting until after I declined the draft. (I declined it because Keep It Real Online already exists.) Just letting you know. JSFarman (talk) 00:18, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Kamilalibhat, it reads much better now. However, it still needs reliable sources to verify the information. Some trivial and unverifiable info may need to be cut out. Pahunkat (talk) 13:15, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Tagging socks and clerking SPI
I've noticed you've been attempting to clerk SPI and have engaged in numerous clerk activities - please let clerks (of which there are plenty) handle it. Several of us are also in training so these are good opportunities to actually, you know, train. CUPIDICAE💕15:46, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Hey Praxidicae, just trying to help. I'm not trying to clerk SPI - I filed that SPI mostly of a pro-forma/sleeper check and to get one account blocked since it was confirmed by a CU (I remember reading somewhere that they now record logins, and JPgordon's statement seems definitive enough), when I first found that master it was from looking back at a sock I'd encountered before, only to discover that the master was someone else. Apart from that I haven't really done any 'clerking' apart from suggesting a case which various users (including me) had been contributing too to be put on hold since arbcom was looking into the issue. It wasn't my intention to deprive training clerks of work, though if you want I can send already-blocked accounts back to SPI to be tagged (but that seems like a bit of a waste of time). Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 15:54, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
I'm simply asking you to leave tagging to the discretion of clerks/admins/checkusers. There is no need to send anything back - we do not tag every sock. CUPIDICAE💕15:54, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Fair enough, next time I'll post on your talk page if I report a sock to AIV and think it needs tagging Praxidicae (for blatant ones I don't bother with SPIs unless I think there are sleepers). Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 15:57, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Please don't. If you file an SPI, file an SPI like everyone else does. If it needs to be tagged, it will be handled by checkusers/admins/clerks/trainees. CUPIDICAE💕15:59, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
And also note that a couple of the accounts mentioned in that SPI were confirmed, but most of them are tagged as suspected. Pahunkat (talk) 16:08, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
About reliability
Hello dear, while patrolling I see a number of articles that are unreferenced or rely wholly on a single source. My question is that haven't they gone through AfC process or are they are created by autopatrollers without citing any sources? –Kammil (talk) 16:25, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
And one more thing, when we will continue our CVUA studies? And could you please review Ichgam and suggest improvements, if needed. –Kammil (talk) 16:55, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello Kamilalibhat, I guess that those articles were created before the creation of WP:AFC and more stringent verifiability standards in response to the Wikipedia Seigenthaler biography incident. Some may even be created by autoconfirmed users, but the new page patrollers may decide that the subject is notable and so leave the article alone with a single tag. Given that you've agreed to stick to one account, I don't see any more reason to suspend the CVUA work - just let me know when you're ready to resume. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 17:52, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi can you please help me understand what other changes/updates might be needed in order to successfully publish this article? I have updated it to include ONLY printed publications citations which relate to the facts which are in duplicate of the printed material itself. I welcome your correspondence and assistance!
Hello Iynos, I see you've improved this draft from the version I reviewed here. The subject is likely to pass our notability criteria, specifically WP:NSOLDIER, but since this is a BLP you need to have inline citations to verify each statement about the person. Note that you are allowed to repeat references if necessary. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 16:18, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
I have added inline citations as requested to verify each statement about the person. Please let me know if there is anything else that this article needs in order to be published - many thanks for your help! Iynos (talk) 01:45, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Feel free to re-add your citation BTW - perhaps not in the lead (it's a list), rather somewhere else. But don't reinstate the 'Belen' link. Pahunkat (talk) 21:19, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
Fair shout! Now I have your attention - yes it is fine to remove TP access of Chuck Mincho because I have no use of it. I only have use of an account that can edit Ted Turner. Now I have one. Funny thing is, you packed up for the night just as I was about to make an edit there and hello, Sro23 blocked me as an obvious sock - interestingly enough, he was right! So are you ready pal?! Away we gooo! The Road to Paradise (talk) 21:21, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
hi. i noticed you had a opening for the CVA. i used to be under Puddleglum2.0s teaching, but she disappeared. i was wondering if you would let me have you as a teacher? thanks. New3400 (talk) 19:16, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello New3400! I'd be happy to take you on as a CVUA trainee - I noticed you've come back from a relatively long wikibreak, so I was wondering if you'd like me to give you a few days to get back to regular editing before resuming. Given that your training with Puddleglum was back in August, would you like me to start from the beginning again or should I continue from where you left off last time? Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 20:53, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the response Pahunkat! I would prefer to start new, as I believe I forgot most of the material. ive been somewhat active, i dont really edit much in the first place so i can start now. thanks for the response. New3400 (talk) 20:58, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
TechGuySA - that still counts as a COI/Paid, and you need to disclose this on your user page. As for the draft, I believe it still does not meet WP:NCORP - Source 1 is primary and anyway a trivial listing per WP:CORPDEPTH, Source 2 is is a trivial mention per WP:CORPDEPTH, Source 3 has clearly been paid for by the company. Reliability of source 4 may also be disputed. Pahunkat (talk) 10:23, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi Dear Pahunkat,
I’ve read on KamilAliBhat’s Talk page that you’re mentoring him on how to counter vandalism on wikipedia. I personally believe that vandalism is the worst thing here and needs more and more people to be active and fight against it. I would request if you could teach me as well. I would really appreciate that and would love to have you as my mentor for it.Hums4r (Let's Talk) 23:36, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello Hums4r and thanks for dropping by - right now you have 142 edits in mainspace (see [7]), and the minimum for CVUA is 200. I'd be happy to take you on once you get to 200 (or any other trainer for that matter), for now I suggest installing WP:TW and going to Special:RecentChanges to see if you can identify and revert problematic edits :-) Pahunkat (talk) 15:35, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
My CVUA
Just to remind you, I have completed my tasks at my CVUA page. I'm waiting for the results. Could you tell me when my result will be declared? I'm waiting! With love from Kammil ⟨talk⟩ 15:54, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
I don't know if it's a Twinkle setting, but your message ended up in the middle of their talk page rather than at the end. When it came up on my watchlist, I had to search for your username to find it; they may miss it.
I just blanked their sandbox, which was filled with code copied from somewhere else, and included ad tags and tracking. With that, they have three warnings regarding test edits - four if you count DigitalChutney's - and should be well aware that their actions are disruptive. Any more and they'll be due for a mention at AIV or another noticeboard. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 19:01, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello BlackcurrantTea, thanks for letting me know and for following up on their edits - Twinkle inserts warnings under the Month-year header, even though it was in the middle of the page. I'll keep an eye out on their contribs from now on - it was almost impossible to revert the ones on terms of service and I had to use rollback from their contribs - see [8]. I might issue a 4im warning if they do it again. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 20:08, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
JJPMaster, looks like we've both been glancing through each other's contribs :-) That script is going to be pretty useful in abuselog patrolling Gosh, reply link is useful Pahunkat (talk) 20:45, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Palermojeffrey, I've just had a look at it and at the moment it currently would fall in line for speedy deletion under WP:CSD#G11 and WP:CSD#U5. I'd strongly recommend cutting down on the promotional content before someone tags it as such. Please see also WP:UPNOT and WP:UPYES for guidelines on what is acceptable to put on userpages. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 09:11, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Celestina007, reincarnation indeed - along with what looks like two paid editors. I'll probably vote in the AfD as soon as I can, it looks like it fails NCORP from a quick glance. Thanks for letting me know :-) Pahunkat (talk) 09:18, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Edits to cloud article
I'm wondering if there's been a recent change in accepting edits to the cloud article by registered users. Edits I've made before today have been automatically accepted because of my long standing status as a reliable registered editor. However, it was necessary for you to intervene today for my latest edits to be accpted. Could you please check into this. Many thanks. ~~ChrisCarss Former24.108.99.31 (talk) 10:36, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello ChrisCarss Former24.108.99.31, I've had a think but I'm really not sure why your edits aren't being accepted. As a pending changes reviewer mine are accepted automatically in any case, but with my alternate account with the extendedconfirmed right only edits aren't being accepted. This is odd, as the page should be automatically accepting autoconfirmed users and above. Sorry I couldn't help much here - if you need a revision to be accepted quickly and I'm available, feel free to ask on my talk page. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 20:10, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Thankyou Pahunkat and BlackcurrantTea for your replies. I've finished the major overhauls I was doing to the article a while back when the "automatically accepted" function was working without any breakdowns (not to boast or anything, but it was mostly those overhauls done with the help of some other editors that got the cloud article upgraded to GA status). So I now only do occasional spot edits to fine tune other editorial contributions like the edits I've just made that weren't automatically accepted. If this is the new status quo, I can go along with that knowing that one or both of you can to the accept function at my request. It's also possible someone will come along who can fix this glitch and get everything back to normal. Cheers. ChrisCarss Former24.108.99.31 (talk) 01:20, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Ashleyyoursmile - I'm pretty sure you've come across them before - they're a muppet by the name Evlekis. That's sock number two today. Thanks for dealing with them :-) As you can see by my timecard, I clearly do not live in the UK Pahunkat (talk) 09:43, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello Pahunkat ; I need bit help in opening SPI on two users. Kkndlsva32 and Djv46. Because these two users where adding same content on a article which is also false unreferenced content. Dj46 this user added the content and got reverted. Today Kkndlsva32 added same content. Poppifiedtalk17:06, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello Poppified, an SPI was opened by another user but was CU declined due to a lack of evidence. I've added some diffs and pinged you there - feel free to add anything there if needed. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 17:23, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
It seems like you are a regular target for sockpuppets so I've semi-protected your talk page for two weeks. Let me know if you would prefer not having it protected. I hope it helps reduce the abuse. LizRead!Talk!01:20, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi, the script isn't working even after removing all other scripts, and after disabling all gadgets from the preferences page. I tried bypassing my cache, but still, nothing. It doesn't work either in the visual editor or in the edit source. No idea what I should do. Nehme149916:07, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi Nehme1499, if you click "edit source" on the Zamfara kidnapping article, what links come up in the 'tools' section in the left-hand navigation bar?
The only other thing I can think of is that it might be because you use the 2017 Wikitext editor - what happens if you try switching to the source editor? I know that the script does not show up if you use the visual editor.
Nehme1499, that's odd. I tried your common.js, and I get

Hello Pahunkat ; I have completed my taks you provided there. And I have doubt on something can you clear it. While I was doing a RC patrol I found this userpage is bit promotional Aung Kyaw Khine. Can I tag it for a speedy deletion ?? ThanksPoppifiedtalk10:59, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.
You have been trouted for: YOUR REASON HERE unaurhoeised edits
Alphapope, you do not own any articles and therefore I do not need "authorization" to edit the page. Advertisement is forbidden on Wikipedia, as is undisclosed paid editing. Pahunkat (talk) 16:39, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
No i am not paid by any organisation for any edits i make on wikipedia i am only contributing being a alumni of the school, please justify how you concluded the history and mission motto to be as "advertisement"--Alphapope (talk) 16:48, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
then cant just those particular words be edited to a neutral tone where as your action of disruptively removing the whole 1000 word edit was totally unjustifiable.Try Considering it. Thanks --Alphapope (talk) 16:56, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
Ashleyyoursmile, yeah - I think it's about time for some action on this one as they're starting to become annoying and they've ignored the agf-sock warning. Doubt it's an educational institution because one of the accounts said they were an "alumni of the school", so would have no reason to be in the educational institution itself - and all users were technically indistinguishable. Apparently I'm socking with "Pahuknat Alternate Account" as well. I don't have much time to file one though, if you choose to file one don't forget what I said previously in the comments. I do wonder if I'm being trolled. Pahunkat (talk) 19:32, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Ashleyyoursmile Excuse me please. I have not been reverting Pahunkat anywhere except the school. We don't count the sandbox because I cleared it, even if I was wrong and hasty to put back promotional material. Puraana Bhoot (talk) 19:35, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Puraana Bhoot, you have reverted Pahunkat's edits on the school page, and even accused them of "abusing" multiple accounts- the other account is a "legitimate" account of Pahunkat. Ashleyyoursmile!19:44, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
You are thinking I am not knowing English conventions? Why are you saying "legitimate" using quotations? People only do that when they know it is not legitimate". Think: in 2003 everybody said Saddam Hussein has "weapons of mass destruction" yet he never did. Same principle is at steak. Puraana Bhoot (talk) 21:44, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Puraana Bhoot, see WP:SOCK, in particular WP:SOCKLEGIT. Today I had to edit from a shared computer (not from home), so I did not want to use this main account. You're welcome to file a SPI, but it's just going to be closed with no action. Pahunkat (talk) 21:47, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

CVUA Admission
Hello Pahunkat.
I was wondering if you could accept me for anti-vandalism training. I really enjoy countering disruptive edits etc, and would appreciate some formal training.
Thanks,
Armstrong12345 (talk) 17:35, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
Sorry, I just realised that Wikipedia makes a difference between disrupted editing and vandalism. I am interested in countering what Wikipedia refers to as vandalism.
Sorry for the confusion.
Armstrong12345 (talk) 17:41, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
Hello Armstrong12345, thanks for your interest in CVUA! Before joining we recommend having about 200 edits to mainspace so you have a general idea of what Wikipedia is like, but as of now you have 39 in total. I’d be happy to take you in once you have a few more edits - for now, you can get started by installing WP:RW, reading WP:vand and going to recent changes to revert some vandalism. Let me know if you need help :-) Pahunkat (talk) 10:53, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
Please ignore that last message where I asked you where was your talk page. That message was to sent to someone else on their talk page, and I pinged you by mistake. Sorry for any confusion that I may have caused you. Davidgoodheart (talk) 05:00, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
