Uss shasta

Hi, I appreciate your comments and edit. It's actually true. The crew was cited for exactly these things. However, most of them are in Navy records from the 70s through the 90s, which I have no idea how to access. I also have this from 3 of the ship's captains. I cited to the crew list, and the comments bear this out. However, if it doesn't seem neutral, although I think it's 100% factual, please feel free to rewrite -- the problem could be my poor prose.... Sorry, your message seems to have been misdirected, as I haven't edited USS Shasta. However, looking at the recent edits I would have to advise that unsourced statements of opinion such as "they distinguished themselves", "truly the finest sailors in the Navy", and "their record of unparalleled performance" would have to be removed or, if supported by published statements, reworded to something like "the crew were described by ... as ..." and adding the reference to show where this was published. If it wasn't published but only came by word of mouth, then it can't be included. No Wikipedia article should make it appear as if the writers of the article are inserting their own opinions. The "The EUROPA server is temporarily unavailable" has been the response all week from the appsso.eurostat.ec.europa.eu address which Taoiseach had been using as a reference name (as distinct from a reference url). The "... Session invalid ..." response which I gave above is was what I get from your current http://appsso.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/nui/show.do . Can you translate this?

Hi Noyster! You're listed on WP:Translators available. Would you be able to translate the lead (only five paragraphs!) of South American dreadnought race into Spanish for that Wikipedia? It's a notable article in modern Argentine and, to a lesser extent, Chilean history, and no one's gotten to it in the three years it has been online.

Sorry for the lack of edit comment in the reversion I made to Thomas More. I removed the Al-Farabi paragraph because that it had nothing to do with Thomas More. At most, it merits a mention in the Utopia (book) article, and then probably only if some kind of connection can be established - like showing that More had read Al-Farabi. Colorado Caucus entry

I'm very new to posting on Wikipedia, appreciated most of the changes in this entry I started.

However there are a few points that I don't like, is there a way for me to tell which changes you made, which might have been others? I'd prefer to reach an understanding rather than have to monitor continual changes, but I'm not sure if that's how things are done.

Big problem, Reference to Denver Post article about GOP skipping Presidential race, which is not at all the case. It is very misleading should be either deleted or fully explained, in my opinion.

I'm passionate about the Colorado Caucus because it is clear to me it's the best chance the average person has of serving in elected public office, substantiated in a couple of recent books which I'll add to the reference section.

Thanks for any light you can give this Wikipedia newcomer.

Greetings John and thanks for creating this needed article. First, you can always check the page history to see any changes to the article, and if you put it on your watchlist it is easier to see when any new edits have been made.
I have put back the reference to the "Why Iowa?" book, with amendments to format, as it's good to include a published positive view of caucuses to counterbalance the negatives; although bear in mind that that book did not appear to be studying Colorado specifically. A published argument referring to any benefits of the Colorado caucus might be better.
Finally about the 2016 Republican non-binding caucus, this was reported widely, not just in the one report I cited. If you consider all these newspapers made a mistake, that claim itself would have to have been published in a credible source. Thing is we don't ever put our own opinion into Wikipedia articles - that gets dismissed as "original research". Oh, and please sign your talk page posts with the ~~~~. Thank you for not blocking me. We will add information including sources, by the way we added one and you simply deleted it. Your affirmation about Chile as a producer of Pisco is wrong and it could be a legal action for that. Chile usurped the Pisco name from Peru and put this name to its spirit, that is quite different from the original and unique Peruvian drink.
