Jenkintown Posse

So, Your user page doesn't mention them. Are you familiar with them? They are mentioned in this section after the name Troy Gentile, about four names from the top.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 16:58, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

@Vchimpanzee: I am familiar with them, yes. JTP (talkcontribs) 18:38, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

@Porokha: Check out the links at the top of your draft; they give explanations such as how to format references or satisfy notability guidelines. JTP (talkcontribs) 22:59, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know. I just don't have anyone who can help me.This laptop is new so I am getting there bt by bit.Mind if you could lend a hand — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sweetqu (talkcontribs) 22:33, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

@Sweetqu: Wikipedia is not a platform for essays, so I recommend you abandon your sandbox and contribute elsewhere, such as Domestic violence, which is where Gender-based violence redirects to. JTP (talkcontribs) 22:59, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

Article edit request

You don't mind if you restore Amanda Bynes's years active back in the article? Because Sundayclose is apparently wasn't my time for providing sources to him countless times in the talk page of the article. 2600:1000:B04B:36A6:F592:2C9E:DBD8:BC55 (talk) 22:41, 11 July 2020 (UTC)

You need to take this up with the other user, not me. JTP (talkcontribs) 23:02, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
I'm not going to, he's clearly violating the Wikipedia policy for sending me harassing messages to my talk page. 2600:1000:B04B:36A6:F592:2C9E:DBD8:BC55 (talk) 23:52, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
If you think they are harassing you, you need to take it to WP:DRN (for the content) or WP:ANI (for their behavior). Making endless edit requests about the same thing will not solve your problem. JTP (talkcontribs) 23:54, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
I did leave him an apology message on his talk page. But as always, he deleted it, which I wasn't suprised. I was just trying to be nice to him to let him know I'm sorry. Plus, I'm sorry that I took out my frustration on you. 2600:1000:B062:94D9:A97D:5BD9:9F0B:8093 (talk) 13:39, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Apologies for edit

Sir I'm so sorry for adding information that are not for sure true I just acknowledge the fact that last year after Summerslam the next event to take place was Clash of Champions so I assumed that so would be this year Crafter0406 (talk) 20:22, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

Recent Feedback

Hello! Thank you so much for your recent feedback on the Rishi Kumar page - I added charts and changed the general tone of writing. Additionally, I added a table about the recent primary and 8 sources throughout, backing up given statements. Essentially I did my best to fix everything wrong with the article according with your comments. I also worked with my colleague who happened to be making one too (on accident) to make this one our main draft - hence, my apologies for the confusion about the many drafts.

(Kmax12649 (talk) 17:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Can I please be allowed to edit the Palpatine page?Kmax12649 (talk) 17:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC))

@Kmax12649:  Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone will add them for you, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself. This was already explained to you twice on the talk page in question. JTP (talkcontribs) 23:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Article rejection

It seems you are asked this a lot, but you rejected my user page with very very little information as to the issue. I would like to know what I did wrong and how to fix it.

Yrrah2 (talk) 09:21, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

@Yrrah2: You didn't submit a userpage, you submitted a draft, which requires approval before going into articlespace. Userpages do not require such approval. JTP (talkcontribs) 16:32, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Hello

Hello. Could you please move the Chicks on the Right radio show article back to where it was? It was put in my page area as a kind of placeholder because it was previously deleted. If you look at the history at my talk page, you will see the progression. It was moved there so I could work on it and improve it and it wouldn't be speedy deleted. There's an editor who has already made a note at the top of the draft page to get it speedy deleted. Please move it. I worked really hard on it yesterday to bring it up to Wiki standards. Many sources were added, a lot of new information was added, and the wording was improved along with some inconsistencies corrected. It would be a shame if it was just deleted and gone after all that work. I think it deserves to be re-considered as a permanent article. Thank you. A4M2 Alaska4Me2 (talk) 14:13, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

@Alaska4Me2: You should not submit the article for consideration if you are still working on it. You should keep it in your sandbox if you wish to continue working on it. JTP (talkcontribs) 16:26, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for the advice. I was done working on it, which is why I submitted it. Are you suggesting I give it more time? A4M2 Alaska4Me2 (talk) 16:48, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
@Alaska4Me2: Your page doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. The policy excludes...content that has been moved to user space or converted to a draft for explicit improvement. You have nothing to worry about if you believe you have since proven that it meets notability guidelines. JTP (talkcontribs) 18:51, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

Addressing bias (Robert E. Lee Academy)

I noticed that you helped correct some issues on General Robert E. Lee's page and there is currently an ongoing dispute regarding NPOV on the below page: If you have time to review it, I would certainly appreciate it. BillHPike and Jacona are very experienced editors but based on their edits to this schools page along with dozens of other private school pages they have edited, they simply do not appear to have a NPOV. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._Lee_Academy You can see it at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Robert_E._Lee_Academy Fritzsmith20 (talk) 13:57, 9 October 2020 (UTC)The Results are In

Pending page or not

Hello @NotTheFakeJTP:. You rejected my International Wrestling Cartel draft 2 months ago over citation and source issues. I've since fixed those, reached out and learned a lot from the community, and specified the page. I also wasn't clear if the page was successfully resubmitted for another review. I asked you last month but didn't get an answer. In the two months the pending review count hasn't changed. I wanted to know if you could answer me, let me know what, if anything, is now wrong with the page, and help me move along with submission.

ZanderGabriel (talk) 18:18, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

@ZanderGabriel: It's submitted. All you need to do at this point is wait for a review and possible feedback. JTP (talkcontribs) 00:46, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello @NotTheFakeJTP:. I have to ask, it's been over 2 months since your initial rejection. My place in line for approval has only increased. How is that possible? Why is my page not being reviewed? I understand the reasons you rejected it and I've since fixed those issues, but you rejected it within a few days of submission. How is this incredibly short page taking more than even a week to review? I can't help but jump to the conclusion that this is some sort of hazing. Please let me know how this page can be prioritized in review. Thanks.

New Page Patrol December Newsletter

Hello NotTheFakeJTP,

A chart of the 2020 New Page Patrol Queue

Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Reviewer of the Year

John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.

NPP Technical Achievement Award

As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.
