Regarding Ethan Carter III WWE Ring name displaying as EC 3. That his true Ring Name as it was displayed on TV, but typos were made on WWE.com showing as EC3..which one is it? It shall remain as EC 3 until he Appears on NXT TV again or WWE Updates the Superstars page.
TransitRiderSF 21:29, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
@BusriderSF2015: It seems to be EC3. Those nameplates have frequent typos, but based on the fact that this article refers to him as EC3 four times, there is no space. Please don't forget to customize your signature so it contains a link to your user/user talk page. JTP(talk • contribs)21:57, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
Someone managed to get an un-subst {{subst:submit}} on the draft, and when the bot edited the page it ended up "submitting" it. Happens surprisingly often (though this is the first for my bot). Primefac (talk) 16:49, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
How do I make the info box like you have all the way on the right side of your page I’m trying to figure it out, if you can tell me leave a message on my talk page TheKinkdomMan (talk) 01:59, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
@TheKinkdomMan: Instead of some elaborate explanation, I did it for you. Please personalize it a bit more, as you basically replaced my name with yours. Make it unique. You're welcome to use it as a base template (I took it from someone else and branched off of it), but expand a bit to make it your own. JTP(talk • contribs)04:53, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
For completing over 100 reviews during the 2018 NPP New Year Backlog Drive please accept this Special Edition Barnstar. Thank you for helping out at New Page Patrol! There is still work to do to meet our long term goals, so I hope you will continue your great work. Cheers! — Insertcleverphrasehere(or here)03:16, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
New Page Reviewer Newsletter
Hello NotTheFakeJTP, thank you for your efforts in reviewing new pages!
Backlog update:
The new page backlog is currently at 3819 unreviewed articles, with a further 6660 unreviewed redirects.
We are very close to eliminating the backlog completely; please help by reviewing a few extra articles each day!
New Year Backlog Drive results:
We made massive progress during the recent four weeks of the NPP Backlog Drive, during which the backlog reduced by nearly six thousand articles and the length of the backlog by almost 3 months!
General project update:
ACTRIAL will end it's initial phase on the 14th of March. Our goal is to reduce the backlog significantly below the 90 day index point by the 14th of March. Please consider helping with this goal by reviewing a few additional pages a day.
Reviewing redirects is an important and necessary part of New Page Patrol. Please read the guideline on appropriate redirects for advice on reviewing redirects. Inappropriate redirects can be re-targeted or nominated for deletion at RfD.

Hi, Today I saw the edit regarding Mustafa Ali, as I'm not seeing now but years ago when page has created. I Saw that some of the users especially last IP Addresses trying to adding wrong infos that Mustafa Ali is of Indian descent, I don't know if it is vandalism or what, so I need your help here, I want you to take some action against those editings and make my last edit to Mustafa Ali supportive, and reliable.
According to official contract and profile, Mustafa Ali is American of Pakistani Descent as listed here so there are no sources that we can say that he is Indian and representing India. At the time of Cruiserweight Classic, Ali's profile shown Pakistan Flag on background. Only I want is that do some action against these recent edits done by IPs and make my edit positive.
Furtherly, to clear the confusion if occured regarding Pakistan-America you can seek through this too.
Hi. Hey, there's no need to use a deletion process to handle lower schools that are clearly not notable (most are not notable). Instead, just redirect it to the school district's article (or if there is a list of schools article for the district, that would be a better target). If there's no article for the district, or if it's a private school, redirect to the article on the community it's in. Please add {{r from school}} after the redirect markup. This will automatically update the categories and flag a bot to fix the project boxes on the talk page.
Generally middle and elementary schools are not notable. The vast majority of the one's that are, are notable for something other than being a school (usually because the building itself is notable). In the very few instances that a school is notable on its own, it's because it's been the subject of some sort of academic study.
Thank you for this. As stupid as it sounds, I've never really thought about this. I will do this from now on when searching through stub sorts or whatever it may be. JTP(talk • contribs)20:10, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
Article Review
Hello,
My article was once been declined by the reviewer. Can you see my article again for any correction as required either in content or link as the previous reviewer told that content is advertising and too promotional? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saurav.webkul (talk • contribs) 11:23, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
@Saurav.webkul: I do agree with the reviewer on this one. It still reads promotionally, and I don't think your edits helped, as you only turned complete sentences into incomplete ones. If you do believe your company is notable, my advice is that you try your best to remove any language that my trigger a promotional alarm (see WP:PUFFERY) and request it be created by someone unaffiliated with your company. JTP(talk • contribs)14:33, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
@Saurav.webkul: Most of the advertising language has been removed, yes. I would remove the last two sentences of Draft:Webkul#Webkul and possibly relocate the references elsewhere, but it's not up to me, per se. It's really up to whoever gets around to reviewing it. JTP(talk • contribs)14:24, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
ACTRIAL's six month experiment restricting new page creation to (auto)confirmed users ended on 14 March. As expected, a greatly increased number of unsuitable articles and candidates for deletion are showing up in the feed again, and the backlog has since increased already by ~30%. Please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day.
Paid editing
Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
While patrolling articles, if you find an editor that is particularly competent at creating quality new articles, and that user has created more than 25 articles (rather than stubs), consider nominating them for the 'Autopatrolled' user right HERE.

The next issue Wikipedia's newspaper The Signpost has now been published after a long delay. There are some articles in it, including ACTRIAL wrap-up that will be of special interest to New Page Reviewers. Don't hesitate to contribute to the comments sections. The Signpost is one of the best ways to stay up date with news and new developments - please consider subscribing to it. All editors of Wikipedia and associated projects are welcome to submit articles on any topic for consideration by the The Signpost's editorial team for the next issue.
If you want to co-create it with me that would be fine too, I really need help cleaning it up, you can find it under my contributions, I really need help with the Infobox TheKinkdomMan (talk) 05:10, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
The Pictrures are not mine I will remove them on the articles because i said they were mine only because Wikipedia wouldn’t even let me look up pictures, I don’t want to get blocked but thank you for the review the repairs isn’t going to effect my article from being created will it TheKinkdomMan (talk) 18:06, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
Just a quick apology if I let emotion get the better of me over the new editor insisting that the current match was now a handicap match when he was crystal balling. BerleT (talk)
@BerleT: When in doubt, take it to the talk page. Start a civil discussion, maybe some uninvolved parties will get involved and help sort it out. JTP(talk • contribs)02:19, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
I noticed you reverted some vandalism on the Nia Jax article. As you noticed I thanked you. I put her article on my watchlist because of the recent vandalism due to her winning the Raw Women's Championship. I don't know if the article warrants being locked. But it's something that needs to be considered. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it!07:58, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Hi, assistance needed there. I want these things to be done:
Removal of the word 'semi-retired' from Deadman's article and some clarifications there(especially at Triple H's and Dwayne Johnson's article).
Removal of the sentence 'Presumed to be retired at Wrestlemania 33' from article of Mania 34.
I want to clarifications done and removal of the word Retire, Retired or Retirement regarding Deadman's discussions, articles, and so on things. Leave a message or Ping please. CK (talk) 17:57, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Because I don’t know how to put the brackets around the name in my article creation, well to the point is when I do it redirects me to this person Ralph Webb when I want to have it to the article I created TheKinkdomMantalk00:45, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
Several reasons: the previous submission had used information from a Huffington post article that violated copy right. At the subject's request I redrafted the entire submission, fixed citations etc. Please send any updates/future requests changes, etc. to grecourt71.
This user keeps on disruptive editing on Goldberg I really don’t know how to report this user, this user just keeps disruptive editing and has been warned many times by several people on different topics, what do I do and how would I report the user TheKinkdomMantalk19:04, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
@TheKinkdomMan: There's no need to report the user. You should tell them that what you think they are doing wrong (in a WP:CIVIL manner), and you should follow WP:BRD and stop edit warring. There is no disruptive editing here. I appreciate you trusting me with your issues, but you have 1,100 edits now, and should be close to being able to handle things on your own. JTP(talk • contribs)21:50, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
WP:ACREQ has been implemented. The flow at the feed has dropped back to the levels during the trial. However, the backlog is on the rise again so please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day; a backlog approaching 5,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
Deletion tags
Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders. They require your further verification.
Backlog drive:
A backlog drive will take place from 10 through 20 June. Check out our talk page at WT:NPR for more details. NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.
Editathons
There will be a large increase in the number of editathons in June. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
Paid editing - new policy
Now that ACTRIAL is ACREQ, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. There is a new global WMF policy that requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
Not English
A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, tag as required, then move to draft if they do have potential.
News
Development is underway by the WMF on upgrades to the New Pages Feed, in particular ORES features that will help to identify COPYVIOs, and more granular options for selecting articles to review.
The next issue of The Signpost has been published. The newspaper is one of the best ways to stay up to date with news and new developments. between our newsletters.
I would like to work to understand your reasoning and rationale behind the purposeful omission of Bailik's academic status. The rank of Ph.D. is one of great importance and epistemic tenure. As a scholar myself, I can attest to the work and tortuous creed that goes into the achievement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.26.93.5 (talk) 21:07, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
I am aware of the tremendous amount of work that goes into earning such a status, but you blatantly disregarded the comment left next to her name, which states: Per WP:CREDENTIAL, please do not add "Dr." or "Ph.D" here.JTP(talk • contribs)00:21, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Re: Rockin' Rebel
If it's not a WP:RS then I guess it should be taken off of Deaths in 2018 as well since it was never challenged there. Glad you could talk to me about it first instead of automatically reverting, appreciate it. Snickers2686 (talk) 21:29, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
@Snickers2686: I appreciate the sarcasm, but if you read WP:BLP, Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. It should be removed everywhere until it can be verified. JTP(talk • contribs)21:38, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
@NotTheFakeJTP: And does it change the outcome of what needed to be done to the article? No. Was it ultimately removed from Deaths in 2018? No, although it was changed to a different citation. But you edit as you see fit I guess. Like I said, thanks for the discussion. Snickers2686 (talk) 15:29, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
@Snickers2686: I really don't appreciate your tone. You provided an unreliable source to cite a murder. Are you seriously calling me the bad guy? I don't know what you don't understand about WP:BLP's without waiting for discussion line. Read up on it for the sake of yourself and others. JTP(talk • contribs)02:48, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
@NotTheFakeJTP: Didn't say you were the bad guy, not sure where you got that. I took the discussion to the Teahouse and let them sort it out. As it is, only administrators can edit the page I assume because other editors had not followed the WP:BLP. As it is, the entry has been removed from Deaths in 2018 until a WP:RS can be found, to my knowledge. If you could point me to the prior discussion that was had so I can reference it for myself, I'd appreciate it, I didn't realize there was one prior. In any event, to me this discussion is a moot point since, personally, I'm not an admin and thereby can't edit said page now. Hope there are no ill feelings, I think as editors, we both want the same thing for the community--honest, referable, clean editing and cordiality amongst members. Have a good one! NPP Backlog Elimination Drive
Hello NotTheFakeJTP, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel: there are currently 2900 unreviewed articles, and 4000 unreviewed redirects.
Announcing the Backlog Elimination Drive!
As a final push, we have decided to run a backlog elimination drive from the 20th to the 30th of June.
Reviewers who review at least 50 articles or redirects will receive a Special Edition NPP Barnstar: . Those who review 100, 250, 500, or 1000 pages will also receive tiered awards: , , , .
Please do not be hasty, take your time and fully review each page. It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. GalatzTalk01:10, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:14, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Twitter Sources/Replacement Sources
Just letting you know I might have to re-insert some of the old citations alongside your new ones. I had actually selected the citations specifically to cater for the transaction dates, I went into detail why the primary sources were sometimes needed here: User_talk:Willsome429#Twitter_and_the_team's_official_website_are_NOT_reliable_sources. So where the dates don't match up I'll probably have to make a couple of re-additions.
Also, in regards some of your ESPN citations, are they allowed? They come across as unofficial speculation/rumours prior to the actual transaction, e.g., I don't see how "We're pursuing negotiations with the Los Angeles Gladiators to make this transfer happen" one week prior backs up the actual official transaction occurring. I do know you wanted to added the ESPN articles for notability, just think their articles are a bit iffy as sources for the official transaction dates.
On a side note, I don't personally see how the change will fix the notability issue as I really think the problem stems from the standard of the main articles of the lesser edited Overwatch League teams. I don't actually think Dallas Fuel or Los Angeles Gladiators have any notability issues, assuming the notability of subarticles can stem from main articles. Wiki nV (talk) 15:23, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
@Wiki nV: I deserve a Self-trout for that one. I was so focused on establishing notability, I completely forgot that the dates were most important. You can revert the whole thing if you want, otherwise I might have been smart with one of them and made sure the dates were correct. Sorry about that. JTP(talk • contribs)16:53, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
