This software is cited by the official wiki of Samba project (see link in article) and aims to help people who want to sync their Samba servers among others. It is of public interest and is not in any way a commercial software. I created the article in order to add it to the Comparison_of_file_synchronization_software article Wikipedia which holds with links for each sync software. Is there any reason why this software cannot be added there ? Regards, Orsiris de Jong. Why I did what I did, and why your charges are falseFirst, the situation in Turkey has changed incredibly much in the last week, second, how is changing a link to a small paragraph to a link to a major article disruptive? The stuff in the article Spillover of the Syrian Civil War (most of which I WROTE thankyouverymuch) was unnecessary once the link to an article which already has the same information in greater detail and better presented is added. It is the duty of Wikipedians to improve articles, your reversion is the opposite of that. Ericl (talk) 15:35, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Request about China Energy Fund CommitteeI am SUNREST, I want to open the article about China Energy Fund Committee, the supporting is over there, anyone can help me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SUNREST (talk • contribs) 15:18, 5 August 2015 (UTC) Re: 02:27, 2 July 2015 review of submission by Non-dropframeDear Non-dropframe, Last month I submitted edits for the article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetically_modified_organism, consisting of 29 sentences composed by me, 9 quoted sentences and 14 references. It appears you rejected all of the edits on July 2, with a single comment that "Rv edit not in-line with refrence." As written now, the article looks like a promo piece for the agri-biotech industry.
My first edit was to the lead sentence of the second paragraph in the Controversy section, which -- besides beginning with the stylistically disfavored "There is..." -- erroneously states "There is broad scientific consensus that food on the market derived from GM crops poses no greater risk than conventional food" without attributing that viewpoint to anybody. Instead, as written, Wikipedia is asserting this to be true. That sentence is followed by four citations -- to the Economist (which does not mention a consensus), a statement from AAAS board members, an EU research project and a paper by Pamela Ronald. Regarding AAAS and the EU research, ENSSER fact-checks as follows [with relevant citations]: A statement by the board of directors of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) affirming the safety of GM crops and opposing labelling[25] cannot be assumed to represent the view of AAAS members as a whole and was challenged in an open letter by a group of 21 scientists, including many long-standing members of the AAAS.[26] This episode underlined the lack of consensus among scientists about GMO safety. 4. EU research project does not provide reliable evidence of GM food safety An EU research project[27] has been cited internationally as providing evidence for GM crop and food safety. However, the report based on this project, "A Decade of EU-Funded GMO Research", presents no data that could provide such evidence, from long-term feeding studies in animals. Indeed, the project was not designed to test the safety of any single GM food, but to focus on "the development of safety assessment approaches".[28] Only five published animal feeding studies are referenced in the SAFOTEST section of the report, which is dedicated to GM food safety.[29] None of these studies tested a commercialised GM food; none tested the GM food for long-term effects beyond the subchronic period of 90 days; all found differences in the GM-fed animals, which in some cases were statistically significant; and none concluded on the safety of the GM food tested, let alone on the safety of GM foods in general. Therefore the EU research project provides no evidence for sweeping claims about the safety of any single GM food or of GM crops in general.
My suggested edit #2 is to the subsequent sentence of that second paragraph, and to one of its citations. The original text selectively quotes from that citation, and omits the two very next sentences that followed -- which begin with "However, ..." My edit is to include these two key sentences in the citation, and to clarify the article text so that it is in-line with its own citation.
My edit #3 is to the third paragraph of the Controversy section, which now inadequately represents the viewpoint of "Opponents of genetically modified food." My edit is to prepend an introductory sentence that makes clear how this paragraph is a counterpoint to the previous paragraph -- which made a blanket (but erroneous) assertion that there is a consensus on GMO safety. Then I added a second, factual sentence with evidence. These new sentences are are in-line with the newly-provided reference, which itself has numerous references.
Most of my remaining 29 edits, in 10 new paragraphs, are replete with pertinent references. I won't belabor the discussion here now by citing all the citations. Other than any introductory or concluding sentence, which specific suggested sentence do you think is NOT in-line with its reference(s) or otherwise needs to be clarified? On Reejction and References for PAC Cuba draft - Agosto 2015Hello! I am sorry for my mistakes. I am new to Wikipedia world. Sorry I insist but PAC is a notable subject in the Cuban context. PAC is the first group in its kind in Cuba, a country where for many years spontaneous or non-official associations, as PAC is, were forbidden, and where animal welfare is not a priority but neglected. It it is difficult to find references PAC Cuba- because: 1-) the group is quite young, 2-)it is run by volunteers with -as I said before- no support from the goverment -and so from the Cuban media that are highly officialist. For that reason only no oficial media -as web pages- and/or blog are reporting or acknoledging PAC existance. However the work that this group has done so far -and that potentially can do- is so important for Cuba that I really believe it is worthy to report its mere existance in Wikipedia. PAC is the first group in its kind in Cuba, a country where for many years spontaneous or non-official associations were forbidden, and where animal welfare is not a priority. I want to point that Wikipedia has pages for groups simialr to PAC. They have also used in theirs pages links to other web pages as references. Not that I am defending what is wrong, this is not the best way, I know, but sometimes there is not another. Look for example -among others: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Pack https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Chance_Animal_Rescue_Society Aware youa re busy but if you are so kind to suggest me how to improve my article I will very much appreciate it. Historically accurate flagsHello! I updated the flags on the World Football Elo Ratings to be consistent with the tournaments to which they refer. As an example, the 1938 World Cup was hosted by the Third Reich, and therefore the current Germany flag would be incorrect. The wikipedia page for that tournament (and others) takes my approach, so there is precedent. I plan to update the remaining sections to be consistent, as well, if you will let me. These edits only need to be done once and won't be impacted by future edits. What are your thoughts? Thank you. Spiaggia12 (talk) 00:43, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Why is that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Non-imperialslave (talk • contribs) 04:07, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
To actually bring neutrality to a page you have to mention both sides of the story and reference both sides. What is seen on the entire information is just one side of the story over and over, even going to the point of placing an "Awards" section referencing a fake award that was conducted with no information towards the participants. Saying that referencing official sources is "exactly the problem" just awes me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Non-imperialslave (talk • contribs) 04:20, 27 September 2015 (UTC) Also, the part about editing "hack" to "blocked" and you reverting even that edit is also a red flag for me. The government is not "hacking" the DolarToday page, that would mean actually penetrating the webpage servers security and modifying the server files. Non-imperialslave (talk) 04:26, 27 September 2015 (UTC) WP:VERIFY also talks about "Mainstream newspapers" but I see zero mainstream newspapers from the country. We also have this part "fairly representing all majority and significant-minority viewpoints published by reliable sources, in rough proportion to the prominence of each view", I can see again zero fair representation of every view expressed in the page. Non-imperialslave (talk) 04:30, 27 September 2015 (UTC) Also no need for the hypocrisy stating that you are not gonna revert and then suddenly another user pops up and does the same thing you are doing without checking actual edits.
