I just made a few edits on the infoboxes, which are no real biggies; they are just uniform proceedure stuff that we've picked up from other route WikiProjects. Right now, to get you up to speed on what's going on, we're having a so-called "naming convention" on the talk page of WP:NCSH about what the title of the NC Highway articles should be called. Right now we're using the "North Carolina State Highway x" format (where x is the route number). A member named User:SPUI requested that we change this format to "NC x"... something that I believed was too vague. So, we've been trying to compromise and so far we've come up with a "North Carolina Highway x" format to prevent something called a neologism that I just recently found the defintion to. When I first read the Guardians article i was truly shocked to see such blatant racist statements about the Palestinians and others. NC 54I believe your statement that NC 54's eastern terminus is near the capitol. I've seen maps and sources that say it ends at I-440 and others that say it ends near McDowell Street or other near the capitol. Can you find the exact terminus intersection in Raleigh? Thanks for your good efforts to revert vandalism in the Thomas Edison article. I note that in your revision as of 23:10, 22 March 2007 , you just noted RVV without specifying what version you reverted to. The version you reverted to was lacking some sentences from the first paragraph as well as the section on his marriages. To make it easier to separate good edits from vandalism (the good edits seem to be less than 1/10 of the total edits each day), could you please note what version you are reverting to? (Like "Revert to last version by Jones"). Sometimes editors revert too far back and lose a substantive edit, and sometimes they do not revert far enough and leave in a vandal edit, or sometimes good material simply disappears. Thanks again. Battle of the FalklandsI have restored it as per the above discussion. (It has been removed from the Coriolis effect article. I think it is useful, even if it is misplaced. If there is no consensus, we can export it to a new self-contained article. Feel free to contact me via talk-page if there's any change. Nimur 09:17, 21 March 2007 (UTC) I doubt that Coriolis effect would have been considered in a WW1 FCS as they existed. Even sub minute of angle errors, and I doubt that Naval Guns of that period were that good, would be a larger error than 50 yards at 18,000 yards. Perhaps that section could be moved to and article about fire control problems because it would be a problem with ICBM's and other long range missles. The British had FCS problems in this battle that would arise in Jutland to more telling effect and their ammo left much to be desired. This section in Battle of the Falklands is horrible hear say and urban myth and does Wikipedia's reputation no good whatsoever. I am going to remove it in 48 hours. Manually transcluding the full text of the discussion from Genisock's talk page Hello Genisock2. I noticed the copyright status of the image, Image:Honoda.jpg, is in doubt. I am not the uploader, nor the author of this work, but I am a contributor at the main article involved. It appears that this image falls under the fair use clause because it is a Japanese work older than 50 years. However, it also appears that the original uploader found this with a Google Images search; for unrelated reasons, the uploader's account has been blocked. Before this image is deleted, please let me know if the fair-use tag is appropriate. The article does need an image, but we need to make sure it is a legitimate, legal one. I was adding a comment to the figure caption, since I thought the "artist impression" label misrepresented it, and I didn't want it to look like my added text was put there by the same author as the original caption. At first I couldn't even make a line break (I figured that out later), and it all looked like a single caption. It struck me that I could simply add that author's signature, to clarify that there was a break, and where. That was in itself a marginal idea at best, but what was really bad was that I was careless when checking who that original author was.
