Signpost articleThe WikiProject Japan Signpost article scheduled for this week was postponed in light of the earthquake, tsunami, and ongoing nuclear crisis. We would like to publish the interview within the next couple weeks with updated information that takes into account the events in Japan. Please take an opportunity to return to the interview page to answer some additional questions located at the bottom of the page. This is also an opportunity to revise any previous answers if you feel the need. We hope to bring your story to a wider audience. Thanks again for your participation. -Mabeenot (talk) 03:35, 15 March 2011 (UTC) User:*Kat*/sandbox listed at Redirects for discussionAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect User:*Kat*/sandbox. Minor issue at KekkaishiI've discovered that the English dub of the anime has been persistently misspelling the name of the opening theme (and two of the ending theme) singer. user:Dragonmaster88 seems to believe that Viz is infallible, when I have provided plenty of evidence to state otherwise. I'm not providing a direct link to the section because he thinks I am wrong because I must be using fansubs for my information. Her ja.wiki page is at ja:宇浦冴香.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:31, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Shiba inu stuffHi I reverted my edit, as it was not appropriate for Wiki. On that line, could you take a look at OdaMari's comments, continual reversions of edits and contributions and misrepresentation of herself as an official of Wiki. I was unaware there was an area where I could request review. Thanks Tucker454 (talk) 04:08, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Odd issueI just finished translating these titles. However, I'm not sure what to do with the one title (entry 26) which is directly related to a Japanese-only (I believe 2ch only) meme that has been dutifully covered here. I used the English translation of what was actually said, but I don't think that's accurate enough to the meaning of the episode title.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:58, 2 April 2011 (UTC) MOS-JAAccording to David here, MOS-JA isn't an official manual of style. Is he correct?—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:44, 7 April 2011 (UTC) Changing usernameHello, I've already renamed my account from "Just_Angelus" to "ANGELUS" in the Italian Wikipedia, but in English Wikipedia my username is still "Just_Angelus". Could you please rename my account? That would be awesome. My request is here. Thank you! Just Angelus (talk) 22:46, 9 April 2011 (UTC) Thank You!Thank You for successfuly changing my username! RE: you comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Altaic Peoples. I share you concern. While I personally have no issue with WikiProjects sitting around tagged {{inactive}}, in recent times WP:MfD has become the oversight body for dealing with inactive WikiProjects. Some are intent on having stillborn, or ill-conceived WikiProjects deleted. I am seeking to be able to provide advice to editors who return to find their WikiProject deleted. Explicitly pointing them to Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals seems like a good idea, if they want to try again. If you have some advice on what's best to do in response to these WikiProject MfDs, I would like to hear it. Regarding your specific point about WP:COUNCIL trying to take over the whole process, would you review my edit here? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 04:27, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry about the edit conflict;-P --MZMcBride (talk) 16:01, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
MujakiMujaki unilaterally changed Hepburn romanization, again, this time introducing rules that are in no way indicative of any practice (long a and long e that arises from ee are ā and ē) and a bunch of other things in this edit. I tried to incorporate the changes until I discovered the ā and ē in words of Chinese & Japanese origin for the revised system, and now I've reverted back to the last version of the article prior to Mujaki's edits (while attempting to incorporate the one useful aspect).—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 19:22, 12 April 2011 (UTC) What is your translation/definition of 穣 ?What is your translation/definition of 穣 ? 99.181.143.101 (talk) 05:32, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
KabukiHow should the name of a modern kabuki actor be treated? The second Bando Minosuke is going to be guesting in Kamen Rider OOO for the next two weeks, and I just want to be sure I have it written properly.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:07, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Name ChangeNo I'm not asking for a name change - I just wanted to thank you for getting mine done so quickly. I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot! :) SelfEx1led (talk) 07:04, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned imageHi 穣! Please take a look at my post at here. Can I ask you to unprotect the page or to add the image to the article? I think the image should be in the article. Oda Mari (talk) 09:37, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
old usernameThank you for your swift response to my username change request. I have a doubt though. I still see the user page assigned to my previous username and can sign in with my old username. It has my full name on it and I don't want it to be indexed on google. I was expecting it to be deleted after I changed my username as in the case of some users. Thanks again for the help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EcstaticNinja (talk • contribs) 12:15, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

HelpHi 穣! Please block this user. The user repeatedly changed Hepburn to Nihon-shiki and added non ja sounds like TH to the table. Thank you always. Oda Mari (talk) 17:39, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Vandalism on Fujiko Fujio pageI ask for your help with warnings being issued with regards to the Fujiko Fujio page. Since 2009 it has been repeatedly vandalized with entries to Cantopop and URL substitutions. There is very little meaningful editing in the 2009-2011 timeframe. I noticed you had a hand in editing it prior and that is the basis for my request to you. I have submitted a rewrite based on the JP Wikipedia page, which I am not concerned with defending more than I am interested in seeing warnings and bans issued for malicious vandalism. HiThat RFA got less then 70% support votes, and IMO should have been closed as failed. Regards.--Mbz1 (talk) 06:26, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Please refrain from making personal attacksLike this one. You know as well as I do that different standards were applied than would be to a normal RfA. Malleus Fatuorum 16:56, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

EngrishPlease see this. I thought the OP was an en native speaker but it seems not. Please correct and rewrite my rough Engrish translation used on the article. What do think the appropriate literal translation of the title would be ? お世話になります。Oda Mari (talk) 14:12, 21 May 2011 (UTC) HepburnJpatokal and Mujaki have gone through with a massive reformatting of Hepburn romanization that makes the "revised" system non-existant and synonymous with "modified", which makes long a ā in native words.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:32, 21 May 2011 (UTC) Senkaku Islands disputePlease consider what I have written at User talk:Ged UK#Senkaku Islands dispute. It is probable that your decision to lock Senkaku Islands here and Senkaku Islands dispute here mirrors the reasoning which informed the judgment of Ged UK when he locked one of these articles here. Your succinct analysis bears repeating: "It's a POV-magnet, and edit wars happen frequently." Despite the ways in which you and Ged UK are each correct, is is possible that you both misconstrue the problem at hand? IMO, this is a temporary bandaid. It is a mismatch which rewards an edit warring strategy rather than suppressing it. Compare Lvhis's explanation: I don't mind if that page got locked, but do mind it was locked without that tag. Can you envision an alternative approach which we have not yet perceived? --Tenmei (talk) 19:35, 25 May 2011 (UTC) Hi Nihonjoe, I've unprotected the above article per a request at WP:RFPP. John Rutherford (Director)Hello, I am not very savvoy to how things work here, but I have tried to add my bio to my own Wikipedia page under John Rutherford (Director) and it says that you deleted my page, because of "illegal" copyright infringement? I am John Rutherford and own my name trademark as such. Also, I wrote my own bio that I was posting about myself. Please advise me on how I am supposed to get this cleared and my name and info. up and live on Wikipedia. Kounotori or White Stork. The H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV), nicknamed Kounotori (こうのとり?, Oriental Stork or White Stork), is an unmanned resupply spacecraft used to resupply the Kibō Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) and the rest of the International Space Station (ISS). Ohio Nihonjoe ! Thanks for your help with ISS. I would like to ask your opinion on the white stork spacecraft, which I sometimes refer to on the ISS page. I'm a native English speaker, and the name Kounotori doesn't mean anything to me, except the name of the HTV. I understand that in Japanese, it conveys to the reader special meanings, like the bringer of good things (babies?). I wonder if I am correct therefor, to use the term white stork spacecraft, as the most appropriate translation, or the most appropriate way to refer to the spacecraft, apart from HTV. In english white stork has a very subtle meaning, as it also brings babies according to literature. Penyulap talk 02:43, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
